My stay at this heritage hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The breathtaking view of Lake Brienz was a constant delight, especially from the expansive balconies that adorned our spacious, clean, and cozy rooms. The hotel exudes a charming vibe, with guests relaxing and enjoying themselves, which added to the overall tranquil atmosphere. The reception team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist. I had wonderful conversations with them, and they provided invaluable guidance on how to explore the nearby attractions. The gentleman overseeing breakfast was equally attentive, ensuring all our small requests were met with a smile. Breakfast itself was a highlight, offering a delightful variety of options that I thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel's location is ideal—just a two-minute walk from the Bonigen bus stop, making it very convenient for travelers. The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful and serene, adding to the relaxing experience. I was particularly thrilled to learn that a crew from a Bollywood movie stayed here and even rehearsed a dance sequence on the premises! Without a doubt, I will choose this hotel again if I ever find myself in Interlaken. The combination of its historic charm, stunning views, and excellent service makes it a perfect place to stay.

I arrived pretty late at about 2pm to Interlaken Ost and took a walk towards the hotel. I did this to taken in the sights and because I wasn’t carrying a lot ( just a backpack and small duffle). The hotel is right next to the lake, the bus stop is very close just a short 5 min walk from the hotel. I didn’t stay long (just one night) and since I had to catch an early train the following day, I told them about an early check out and they said I could just no one would be at the desk in the early morning, 5am, and to pay the taxes fee (about 4 Swiss francs). Also the hotel closes the front door at 9pm, if you come back after you would have to come in from the back of restaurant thats right next to the hotel. The room was small perfect for a solo traveler and had a TV with cable, blowdryer, small safe, a small table with a comfy sofa seat and closet space. I was surprised to see no mini fridge though. The bathroom was small but clean. The shower had a small space to sit which is nice for people who need it. However, since it is small the toilet is very close to the shower so it is a bit of a tight space. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. It was pretty noisy at night as I could hear the other guests in the room above and in the hallway. Not super noisy but just something to keep in mind. I wasn’t able to try their free breakfast as I did an early check out. All in all, great place for solo travelers and the view from the hotel is amazing even if you don’t get a balcony view. :)

The person who welcomed us was very friendly. The breakfast is good and sufficient. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel provided us with a card to use the buses in the whole of zone 1 of Interlaken (this is really appreciated). The hotel is located in the small town of Bonigen. It's a quiet little town with good transport links. Bus line 103 is located close to the hotel and takes you directly to the centre of Interlaken in 10 minutes. From Interlaken station, the whole of the canton of Berne is within easy reach 😀 We recommend it!

The only 2 small negative points are : 2 single beds instead of one double bed The pillows are a little thin

Absolutely great location just in front of the lake. Make sure you upgrade your room and choose the one with balcony facing the lake. You will be waking up feeling like you are inside a painting. Great transport hub as well, bus stops in front of the hotel and they give you a free travel card. The staff are awesome and very welcoming. We had a great stay and will definitely come back next time we are in Interlaken.

We enjoyed the stay in SeeHotel. Located in just few meters from the picturesque Lake Brienzersee offered us a wonderful stay in the Interlaken region. The staff were very nice, and helpful. Breakfast was great. The bus stop was just front of the hotel. Great and quiet place to stay!

Bathroom a little dated, and terrace restaurant, for the price, could benefit from nicer furniture rather than cheap plastic garden chairs. Very typical of Switzerland though. And when paying CHF260 per night do you really have to squeeze another CHF5 out of your guests for parking?

Solo female traveller, stayed for 2 nights in August. Staff allowed early check in which was greatly appreciated. Great, quiet location on Lake Brienz. Had a kayaking tour which was an 8 min walk from the hotel. Bus stop outside hotel runs every hour, convenient because it goes to Interlaken OST and Itsewald (filming location for Crash Landing on You) and guests are provided with a free travel pass in the Interlaken area. Included breakfast was a variety of pastries, bread, yogurt, fruit, tea/coffee, juice. Friendly staff at reception and breakfast, elevator access to rooms. View from the room was stunning

The location was excellent. Easy to get to from Interlaken OST and very quiet! It’s directly across the road from Lake Brienz. The view from our room was spectacular and the size was larger than expected. The breakfast oats and coffee were outstanding. There was also a wonderful patio directly out front that overlooks Lake Brienz and you can enjoy a drink. We loved the proximity to Giessbach Falls and many wonderful hikes in the area.

If modern finishes are important on your travels it’s worth noting that the rooms and bathrooms are not super modern. However, everything was very comfortable and the views, the staff and service more than made up for it to us.

Staff at the reception and restaurant are very courteous and helpful. Hotel is 10 minutes by bus from Interlaken Ost and just a few steps away from the lake. Very close to the pier for cruises and bus stops for the town center and Iseltwald.

The hotel is very old which needs renovation. There are seven or eight steps but no ramp at the entrance so not convenient for those with heavy baggage. No air conditioning so not quite sure whether it will be comfortable in the hot summer.

The location is worth a million !!! You will enjoy staying right at the lakefront with magnificent view of apps in the background and sweet music of water waves of the lake. The staff is great and really really helpful. The day we arrived we had forgotten to ask for reserving dinner for us and were very late. So we had packed something for us to have for dinner from local station, the receptionist went out of the way to ensure that we had our dinner on a properly placed table in the restaurant and attended us as we had our meal. They helped us around for finding good places in Interlaken which are not the usual stuff. Food is also great esp the breakfast. Will recommend to all the spend their holidays at this place if you are in the Interlaken region. Rooms and bathrooms are quite spacious and modern.
