The staff were professional, helpful, polite and simply amazing. From the moment I stepped into the Hotel D’Angleterre I knew this visit was going to be extraordinary! The comfort of the hotel was of the highest order. Service was outstanding. Nothing was too much for the staff if it would make you feel welcomed and at home. The level of everything here from the bed, to the towels, to the decor of the room was of the highest order. It was a complete pleasure to stay in this lovely hotel and I recommend it for all the above reasons. The location was perfect, right on Lake Geneva and close to the old town and all the ferries!

There was nothing not to like!

Fantastic lakeside location, easy walk / boat road to main downtown area, restaurants and train station. The service level is very high - staff were super helpful throughout, in a friendly rather than officious way. They were proactive, and requests were dealt with very quickly. Rooms are "grand" and spacious.

I found the bed uncomfortable, and on 2 or 3 occasions we had problems with our plumbing - toilet was running and we couldn't flush it. On the first occasion, someone came very quickly and resolved it, on subsequent occasions it eventually resolved itself. It's expensive, but not out of line for that class of hotel in GVA.

The breakfast was excellent, and the location is perfect.

There is nothing I did not like. The location is perfect. The property is beautiful. The staff were exceptional. Their hospitality and service made Hotel d’Angeleterre my favorite hotel not only in Geneva, but in the whole Europe.

Breakfast Was fine, nothing exceptional, however the service was exceptionally great not only at Breakfast but tothe bar the night we arrived and during the stay ,which unfortunately was only one day.

Breakfast was not the best, could've been better in terms of variety.

The staff team at Hotel Angleterre is outstanding! So professional, attentive, courteous ensuring visitors enjoy a fabulous 5* experience in keeping with the ambience of this superb waterfront hotel. The rooms are huge, impeccable and tastefully decorated with ‘turn down’ service. Breakfast was a delicious feast offering the best of Switzerland, while enjoying the wonderful vista of Mont Blanc, Geneva & the Lake. What a find! We simply can’t wait to return. Huge thanks to all the staff for such a fantastic stay!

The little touches that were thought of - a night light candle in the bathroom . The beds turned down and bedside mats and bath mats placed during the evening. Lighting good for make up application. Extreme courtesy and attention by the staff. Great location.

The location is excellent. The entire staff of the hotel are amazing, always exceed expectations. This is by the far the best place in Geneva to stay. It feels like staying at home.

Excellent location, impeccably decorated room and public spaces with antique-like furniture, very well trained and extremely courteous staff, family atmosphere

One night could hear music from bar 2 floors below, which does not belong to hotel. After complaining the hotel staff took 50% off of that days charge, and committed this will not happen again, which was true for the next night.

An exceptional property in every sense. Stunning location, classically English interiors & extremely clean but it was the service (from every member of staff) that was truly outstanding; friendly professional service that was subtle yet ever present. Exceptional. Will definitely be returning.

My personal preference is a walk in shower rather than a bath but the hotel is so outstanding this would not deter my next visit!

1- the noisy sound when we walk, we hear the foot steps all time because maybe the building very old and the sound of the wood makes noise in all the hotel and the rooms 2- also one of our rooms was too small and the chandeliers of the roof very big this kind of room needs simple furniture not huge to give space to the room because it is very small 3. we did not know about free using for the boat in the lake during our staying only we knew after we checked out but the staff told us that we can use it for that day ( last day ) and they gave us tickets to use
