Located a short walk from the main train station, at first I thought the location was a bit in the wilderness. However, after spending some time in the area (and other parts of the city) I realised that the hotel was located in the middle of the 'happening' parts of the city. Lots of interesting shops around, plenty of food options, and very close (walking distance) to many of the best tourist sites. I stayed in a fabulous room on the 7th floor: the room seemed like it was brand new and with everything you could ever need, including Japanese-style heated toilet. Staff spoke good English, were helpful and very friendly. From the hotel, it's a 7-10 minute walk to the railway station, and about the same to the bus station. Buses to the airport run 24/7 and are inexpensive. Trains run only from 6am. The airport is about 40km from the city and it takes around an hour by bus/train.

As is the case in other places I stayed, I had some trouble understanding how to navigate TV channels. It seemed that most were pay-per-view, so some instructions in English about how to find channels would be helpful.

Superb location first. Pretty close to the main station, Ximending and Yanping park. Common areas were all regularly cleaned up and haven’t seen any mess during stay. Staff are all kind and helpful. Bed was comfy enough and having its own lights and outlet was a great bonus. Facilities are all renovated and working pretty well. It has a coffee machine and offers free green and black tea so another advantage. You can rent a towel or adapter if necessary but charges small amount for those.

Only one downside was that the hostel does not have enough kitchen utensils like a toaster, pot or pan So mostly had to eat out for breakfast but guess that’s relatively common in Taiwan. Other than that, nothing to complain.

Very good and cozy place to stay after work, also met some cool people there. Having some of the best memories there, for like 2 months. The staff is very nice and passionate. They would give you best introduction as a kick start of your tour. Blue pillow is very good if you are in B or C room. For 10+ hostels I've lived in Taipei around this price range, this is definitely the best hostel to stay.

Hair dryer at A B C room does not work very well for me, you have to go to public one. A B room might have a little traffic noise during the day. Upper bed stair is kind of hard to get on. These are very small nitpicking of this hostel but not much of a big deal for 2 months of stays

The property was centrally-located and room we had was very clean. We also appreciated the little things they offered like tea and coffee. What we loved the most is the two staff members we met working at the front desk — they were so friendly, so cheerful, so welcoming, answered the many questions we had and they gave us amazing suggestions! Two of their restaurant suggestions were on point, and we appreciated them giving a personal suggestion. They were kind enough to also make reservations for us without us asking. Wow!! They truly made us feel at home and we felt so special! Would stay here again!

The noise insulation isn’t great like in most places in Taiwan we stayed at, but the other guests were respectful with the noise and the hotel was kind to offer free ear plugs so this wasn’t a problem at all and we still had restful sleep!

THIS WAS AN AMAZING STAY! I was skeptical at first because I thought wow a hostel... just like any other. No. the staff was SO EXTREMELY kind. and the whole place was pristine clean. But I really want to highlight the staff... because they truly care about YOUR comfort and wellbeing. I never felt like this in a hostel. Usually it's hi this is your bed, this is the bathroom and towels goodbye. No, the receptionists really went above and beyond and answered all the questions I had. They made my stay so seamless....... other than that, the bathroom and dorms were so clean

It was a very conveniently located place. The check-in was a lot easier than it appeared to be by the description. All you had to do was get the key from the mailbox and then you simply check and go up the elevator and you have your key to the door and everything is laid out perfectly and easy to follow and understand. The place is very clean. It’s cold and sanitary. Cold as an air conditioning was working perfectly. The beds were clean, everything was comfortable, comfortable spacious bed, double pillows, beautiful duvet. Everything was great. Very comfortable. Stay would recommend it for anybody staying the location was great a lot of walkable nearby places to enjoy and explore no comments regarding this place.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations in terms of the room size and we we're ecstatic about it! The room we stayed in had good space for 4 people and was well-designed and well-lit. I especially like how there was a small table and 2 chairs set-up in one corner. Luggage can be stowed in the space under the beds. Both the room and the bathroom were so clean! The Japanese-style bidet found on the toilet was a nice surprise as I didn't expect it. It was also nice that they had huge roll of tissue in the bathroom so we never ran out of tissues. Same roll of tissue was also in the room itself. The accommodation is also near Taipei Main Station (Metro) and if you take Exit 6, you just need to walk straight ahead, crossing one major intersection. Towing a luggage along is also relatively convenient taking this route. The accommodation has an elevator so there's no problem taking up luggage. They can also store your luggage ahead of check-in and after check-out until 7PM for your convenience. For commute around, we mostly took the metro since Ximen or Taipei Main stations are quite near. You can also find several restaurants and cafes around, going to XiMenDing takes a short walk. You can also ask the helpful host at the counter should you need anything. It was raining when we arrived so we asked if we can borrow umbrellas which we can use and they kindly accommodated our request :)

It might not just be according to my taste but I found the pillows a bit high and hard so I just didn't put one under my head. That's about it.

The hostel is superb, from the facilities and to the reception staff they are all welcoming and helpful. The room is spacious with own toilet and bath and a lavatory inside each room. Theres also a public room/pantry. Cleanliness is excellent with daily cleaning. The surrounding neighbors is also quiet as well as the entire hostel. The bed is quite big for a dorm type hostel. Location is perfect, walking distance to Ximending and bus stop. I would rate it 10/10. I would be back on the next holidays💕

The people there were very nice, both the owners and the other guests. I had to arrive at 2am because of my flight and there was no problem! They sent me how to do self check-in and everything went smoothly. Location is very good, close to some landmarks and to the main station. Lastly, the beds were very comfortable and even in 8 people rooms, we had privacy. I recommend.

Location is wonderful. Staff is helpful and friendly, A/C works well. There’s a TV. But the best part, the absolute BEST part, ARE THE BEDS. I had two rooms (had to book another night last minute due to cancelled flight) and both beds were the absolute most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The sheets and blanket are crisp white. The mattress is firm but soft. I wish I could have packed it up and shoved it in my suitcase.

You have to rent towels there not even a hand towel in the bathroom.
