The location is about a 10-15 minute walk to the major tourist places such as the Grand Palace and the Backpack Walking Street. Also the nearest metro line is within a 15 minute walk. There are many street food vendors in the area, so finding food wasn't a problem during our stay. The room was comfortable and had all the basics for the time we stayed. The AC worked well to cool the room down and the showers had warm water. While the room didn't have a fridge, the staff were nice to allow us to store small snacks and water in the fridge in the lobby. The staff was a great source for any questions we had about our visit in Bangkok.

The initial bed sheets were not clean and had stains on them. However, the staff replaced the bed sheet with a clean one without any issues. I appreciate their effort to make our stay better.

I liked this hotel so much, we prolonged our stay to 3 nights. The lady at the reception is such a nice person, the location is great! Not far from sightseeing places, not far from MRT,. There is a michelin star restaurant just right next to the hotel. I wanted to eat there but it's impossible unless you want to spend a half day queueing. Just about 15 meters far there are another two street restaurants with fantastic and delicious food and friendly staff. We ate there every morning and evening! I was so happy that I found this hotel and in future I will definitely visit it again! :-)

There was almost no furniture in the room. No cupboard, so, don't expect that you can unpack your suitcases.

We had a very comfortable stay at Tim Mansion. Our room was exceptionally clean with great air conditioning. Fai was absolutely incredible and went above and beyond to help us out with our coach booking to Chiang Mai. We would unreservedly recommend this accommodation.

We enjoyed our stay however there were a couple of areas for suggested improvements: 1. The drain in the shower room was slow and meant that the room filled up with a large puddle of water. 2. The noise from the traffic outside was loud, it didn’t prevent us from falling asleep but we were definitely aware of it.

All the staff at this hotel are so lovely, especially the receptionist. Before we had even arrived at the hotel, the receptionist was so helpful with everything. It was my partners 25th Birthday the day we arrived and they kindly decorated the room with banners and balloons. The hotel itself is in a brilliant location with lots of food places close by. The hotel has a rooftop where you can go up and chill out and look at the views across Bangkok. It is around a 15 minute walk to Khaosan Road where you will find all of the bars / clubs which is the perfect place to meet other backpackers. We would 100% come back to this hotel!! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so great 😀

Can be quite noisy on the evening if you have a room which backs on to the main road

Great value, great location, very friendly and helpful staff especially Fai. Spectacular view from the rooftop of the Golden Mount Temple (Wat Saket). Room very comfortable with shelving, tv, hairdryer and private bathroom. Our room only had a small window but the design of the room made it feel light and airy. Building is at end of an alley right on the canal. Old building with lots of character. Lots of places to eat locally. We had a late flight and were offered the chance to have a shower before leaving after a day exploring Bangkok. Made a big difference.

Great location, helpful staff and comfortable rooms. 15min tuktuk or taxi ride away from all the main attractions, lots of food options around the place (including Jay Fei Michellin street food) but the best was Tim’s Kitchen - their in-house restaurant- Garlic Fried Rice and the Tom Yum soup have blown our minds. There’s some food and beverages provided in the lobby - white bread with toaster as well as coffee, tea etc. Will definitely stay here again!

The place is nicely located in the old town, only 20 minutes to the Reclining Budha or Khaosan Road, there's an stunning view on the golden Mount as well (only 5 minutes walk). There's a bus stop nearby that takes you to other key locations?Chatuchak market for example. The staff was brilliant, they accommodated our early arrival and helped us booking a cab. The rooms were well sized, nice ensuite little ensuite and clean. Mega kudos for the rooftop and the amazing view. I would recommend this place again.

Earplugs are recommended, it's quite loud as it's right next to the road.

The lady Fai at reception was so friendly & helpful. It was great chatting to her as she really makes you feel welcome. They have a cute little coffee & toast station, that was quite appreciated. We had stayed for a few days, left to Koh Samui and then returned. They were so accommodating in storing our luggage for a few days until we returned. The roof top space is a lovely little space to chill out on after a day of exploring. Will definitely stay here again when in Bangkok.

The TV channels did not work, but no biggie.

The location was good for seeing all the temples and palace. Close to Khaosan. Great coffee and food nearby.

Suggestion: If pre-booked guests received code to enter lobby using keypad that would be easier, in case staff isn’t nearby.

Location was great and staff were very accommodating. Allowed us a late check out for a small fee which we willingly paid as we had a late flight to catch.

The noise from the main road really needs getting used to. As our room was nearer to the front, we could hear the traffic the whole night through. If you are a light sleeper, it may be a problem.
