The staff looking after us were brilliant. They are always on the end of a WhatsApp chat and respond almost immediately to everything we asked them whilst in the UK. Super helpful and attentive, every single member of the team made the stay wonderful. Contact them book airport transfer and balloon tour. They also sorted taxis for us and called restaurants to make bookings on our behalf. The view from the terrace is really special, and the location so close to everything you need in Göreme and beyond. Breakfast was top notch. All in all - wonderful.

A working fridge in the room would have made the stay even better.

We don't normally bother with rave reviews in our travels across the world , but this place deserves it. Location is supreme and its boutique setup is beautiful yet not over the top. It's understated elegance. The staff are what makes this hotel, with highly knowledgeable staff and in the kitchen wonderful food prepared everyday. On several occasions the staff bent over backwards to chase up bookings or supply us with a coffee or food even when not prompted but anticipated. That's outstanding, with the little things making all the difference.

Wanted to stay longer

Really appreciate the hospitality at Cappadocia cave lodge! We stayed there 3 nights and we really loved the hotel and the helpful and friendly staff. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness in making our stay here smooth. Small gestures really add to the experience of the stay - providing bottled water to us every day, helping us arrange for the airport shuttle, the balloon ride, tours, taxi, etc. It made our stay a lot less stressful. The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The mattresses and pillows are super comfortable - even better than many other big 5 star hotels that I’ve stayed in! Breakfast was very nice with a great variety of hot food, cheeses fruits and drinks. They have a very beautiful terrace that gives a panoramic view over the city too! Big thank you to the team for this wonderful stay!

The only downside is that the hotel is up on a very steep slope so lots of walking uphill is required, but that’s how it comes with an amazing view! The walk from the main centre is not far - around 10 min

Everything about this stay was exceptional! Amazing location and the rooftop balcony was perfect for watching the balloons in the morning and looking over the city at night. It’s open 24/7 as well so you can go up anytime you want which was really great! The staff were also absolutely incredible, nothing was too much trouble for them. They were so helpful and friendly. The manager was one of the nicest people we have met! He even carried my bag down the stairs after checking out which usually doesn’t happen at hotels - they will always bring your bag up when checking in but never after checking out. But he did both… AND also gave us snacks for our bus ride out of Cappadocia. The breakfast was delicious too, prepared fresh each morning and we had a different selection every day. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in throughout all of Europe. If it were possible to give 11/10 I would!!

Nothing! Everything was perfect!

We felt really overwhelmed by hotel choices when we looked for our stay in Goreme. Cappadocia Cave Lodge caught our eye and we don’t regret the choice. The hotel was wonderful! We really enjoyed our stay. The manager and staff were nice and really helpful. They organised airport transfer for us which was great and even though we didn’t use this option, they can book trips or balloon flight for you. The room itself was spacious, bed was very comfortable, the amenities overall were great. The breakfast buffet was really good (lots of vegetarian options, some vegan like dips or grilled veggies). The view from the breakfast terrace is very nice, but the view from the higher terrace is unbeatable for sunrise/sunset! The location itself is also great. Would love to come back!

Very good hotel, full of local characteristics, views are very great, breakfast offers a rich choice. The room is very spacious and you can easily open multiple large suitcases. The front desk staff was warm and friendly, helped us book cost-effective activities, and actively coordinated and communicated.

For the price of the beautiful view, the hotel is relatively high in the town of Greme, a 7-10 minute walk to the town center, which can be a challenge if lugging a suitcase.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They helped us book our airport transfers and organized shuttles for our tours around the Goreme area. The man in the front office, Soheyl, was especially helpful to us in explaining all of the things to do and see in Cappadocia and all of the hotel amenities.

The lighting in the room could be improved. The way it shines up from the floor is very bright and blinding when looking down at your bag.

We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel and the staff made it an even more enjoyable stay. I would have given more than 10 if the system would let me.🤣 If you are looking for a place to stay in Cappadocia look no further. 1. Staff - they go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. On the day we were to leave, we had an early flight to Istanbul. Breakfast was not due to start until 8.30 am but they made sure that they had food ready for us earlier so that we don't leave the hotel hungry. This was a really nice gesture as we didn't ask for it at all. During the early mornings to view the balloons, the staff were around to help us take the photos, which was really sweet as everywhere else People were on their own trying to get the best shots. All the tours suggested were good and well organised and we were given really good suggestions. 2. Location - you are located high up with a perfect view of the balloons. On the first day we had the terrace all to ourselves as everyone else was on the balloon ride. You have unobstructed views and on the 2nd morning the balloons were right above the hotel, so close that you feel you can touch them. You can get into town easy as well. 3. Breakfast - the food was exceptional and a great variety. There was something different each day. 4. Rooms - the rooms were fabulous and spacious and was well worth the money. The toilets were bigger than our kitchen at home 🤣 Thank you to all the staff for making it a memorable stay for us. We will be back for sure

My daughter and I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel in Cappadocia! The staff were truly the best I've ever encountered - not only were they incredibly kind, but they went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Their level of accommodation was unparalleled, and it truly made our experience unforgettable. One of the many highlights was the packed breakfast they provided for us on our way back to the airport. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a perfect way to start our day. The breakfast spread at the hotel was also a delight - every morning, we were treated to a super delicious breakfast that satisfied both our taste buds and our eyes with a wide variety of mouthwatering options. The terrace at the hotel was simply breathtaking. The views of Cappadocia's stunning landscape from up there were awe-inspiring, and we spent many peaceful moments savoring the beauty around us. All in all, I can't speak highly enough of this hotel and its team of wonderful staff. Their genuine hospitality and dedication to making their guests' experience extraordinary are truly commendable. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cappadocia - it's an experience you won't want to miss. Thank you, Cappadocia Cave Lodge for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable. Scenic location, cave rooms, amazing service, professional staff, good location, good breakfast. The staff was the best part of our stay, as they were always helpful and kind. They have great advice for tours and were incredibly accomodating!

There was unfortunately no wifi during our stay because of some construction/technical issues. As we had a cave room (which is normal to not have reception but has wifi), not having wifi or cellular service made us feel quite isolated and it was difficult to plan trips. This wifi was fixed before we left. The shower had a little low water pressure, nothing too bad.
