Room was a genuine cave.

Goreme has been massively overdeveloped. The Kelebek is now a conveyer belt of Americans, Chinese And Russians. Not very appealing. Good food and service is way better in the other Restaurants without the unattractive international patina.

The hotel itself is really beautiful with lots of smaller terraces that overlook the entire Göreme, with chimnies and everything. The rooftop terrace is perfect for star gazing at night or watching balloons at sunrise. The staff are truly wonderful, attentive, and helpful with all the information, advice and tips they gave us about our stay. They organized the Green tour sightseeing, the ATV sunset ride and the balloon ride with a very reliable company. The rooms are very clean and tidy and cleaned daily, and towels are also replaced on a daily basis. The hotel's restaurant Happena has delicuous food. Breakfast was very good, with a variety of choices. Water, coffee and tea are free for guests. The pool view is amazing and there are always enough clean towels for sunbathing. We highly recommend this hotel and would surely stay here again. Thanks, Kelebek, for a wonderful stay! 😊

The pool is not heated so the water is quite cold, but we didn't mind it much because it was super hot during the day so it was actually quite a good refreshment. Water taps in rooms seem to have wrong markings- red dots are actually for cold water, and blue for hot, at least that was the case in our room. But it's really a tiny thing, not even a problem.

Beaultiful Location, magnificent view, all receptionist (Onur, Seacer, Fateh) - so helpful, soothing spa, lavish and luxurious suite with a nice Turkish antique style interiors feeling - with awesome balcony view.

Restaurant - food was ok ok. Breakfast Spread was not wow. Staff was not so cooperative with our dietary requirements.

Incredible location, beautiful views. Our balcony was amazing. The staff went above and beyond for us and made our experience wonderful, with so many helpful tips and special extras. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the afternoon of our last day when we relaxed in the library, enjoying the views, and were kept refreshed with offers of local apple tea and snacks from the wonderful Bulewt. Everyone was so friendly and kind to us and we will definitely be returning! Our stay was absolutely perfect.

We loved our stay at Kelebek. The property is large and well maintained. Our room was beautifully designed and quite spacious. They have a couple of outdoor seating areas and a rooftop terrace from where you can enjoy the beautiful view. Highly recommend waking up early to watch the hot air balloons at sunrise. The location is good, walking distance to the town centre.

The only issue we faced was with the air conditioning. During the autumn and winter months, the AC is turned off, and instead the centralized heating system is turned on across the entire property. While the evenings were cold, the room itself wasn’t as cool as we would have liked, and so it was a bit difficult to sleep. Im not sure if this is a standard practice for all hotels in Goreme or just specific to Kelebek, but it did cause some inconvenience. That said, everything else about our stay was wonderful, and we truly loved our time at Kelebek.

Staying in a fairy chimney suite at Kelebek was a magical experience. The view of Goreme, especially at night from the terrace was enchanting. The staff was friendly and attentive, although the service did take awhile in the dining room even when it wasn't busy. The whole property is large and very unique, especially the fairy chimney suites. We especially liked the breakfast buffet which had some items that we hadn't seen elsewhere on our 4 week trip to Turkey.

The many stairs on the property could be problematic for some people, although the staff was helpful when it came to carrying luggage.

The property is quite wide spread, and nearby hotels are connected. There were lot of areas to just sit and chill. Room had all the ameneties you would need. Location wise the bus stop / market is nearby (~10 min). There are quite a few restaurant within walking distance (<5min). There are few spots within the property which gives you a very nice view of air balloons in the morning. Breakfast had very decent spread, and lot of varieties. There are ample areas to sit, with great view of goreme valley. 'Breakfast with the view' truly get justice here. And had to mention everything was delicious, local delicacies, desserts and breads.

There was some mistmach of itinerary with the tour (Red Tour) we booked at reception (Tour was organized by Kelebek Travels)

Kelebek is one of the best locations in Goreme sitting at the very top of the town with an astonishing view over the beautiful Cappadocia scenery, including of course the hot air balloons. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and the facilities (pool, garden, spa) have a high standard. The rooms are well integrated in the natural rocks/caves making it a unique experience.

The bathroom in our cave didn’t have proper air circulation. This resulted in an unpleasant smell in the morning and generally humid environment. I guess this can be expected considering that the rooms are literal caves and it didn’t affect our overall very good experience in Kelebek. Still something which may be good to improve.

Service staff friendly, probably the best location in town away from the madness and high above w great balloon viewing at 5 am in summer.

The breakfast seriously needs an upgrade, not a lot of interesting food choices for international tourists. Quick China in town is a really cool cosmo place for great East Asian food from Japanese, Chinese, Korean and great quality. Another place for great view and great Turkish food is DreamSpot in the Ushisar. The hotel and Sultan restaurants have great views but the food is underwhelming. The cave family room doesn’t have twin beds for kids. Steps are not a big concern to our family as we are fit but I can see problems for ones not used to climbing 100 steps a day.

Oh my God, I don’t even know where to start! My stay was absolutely incredible. You need a minimum of 2 entire days just to explore this hotel alone. Absolutely stunning! every detail, corner, view is a work of art. This is an original cave house that’s been beautifully renovated, we didn’t want to leave this hotel. The hospitality of the staff, the food and incredible rooftop views made our stay all the more memorable. Highly highly recommend it. We loved their keys and they were kind enough to give us some as souvenirs. Loved it!! Will definitely stay again.
