Our stay at Agora Life Hotel was excellent. It is a small, family-friendly boutique hotel, run by professional and efficient staff, sited in the heart of Istanbul's Old City, a stone's throw from centuries of heritage and culture. Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and there were fresh towels and easy access to re-supplies for toiletries, water, and snacks. There were large windows which allowed for ventilation and cooling, a mini-fridge to store drinks and food, and a safe for our valuables. The rooftop terrace had unmatched views of both the Ayasofya Grand Mosque and the Golden Horn. The hotel was in a great location, barely 5 minutes away from either Gulhane or Sultanahmet tram stations, a very short walk to a wide range of historic landmarks (Ayasofya, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar, Basilica and Serefiye Cisterns), and within minutes of all sorts of food and cafes. Hotel staff were very friendly, gave us good advice and recommendations, and went the extra mile to help us arrange various things e.g. pre-departure PCR tests, taxi services. I also happened to plan my surprise engagement proposal and the hotel staff (especially Mr Isa Altindag) were very helpful in facilitating arrangements and walking through the plans with me. Thank you for the wonderful stay and we look forward to staying here when we next visit Istanbul!

We were upgraded upon arrival and the room was gorgeous and clean. Our view was of the Bosphorous river but the terrace afforded gorgeous views of the Aya Sophia as well. It's in a very safe and central location, within walking distance of Sultanahmet Square and all of it's sights. There's plenty of food and transport around, and the Grand Bazaar is about a 15 minutes walk away. The staff was warm, attentive, and respectful. I can't recommend this place enough and cannot wait to come back.

First of all the staff are all so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is clean and the cleaners do an amazing job. I didn’t eat in the restaurant but the food always smelt incredible coming up from the restaurant. Location is perfect. Within a 5 minute walk of a major sightseeing hub but just off a main road so you don’t get the traffic and street noise. Great bathroom and very comfy bed.

Decor is a bit tired and could do with updating. Lack of attention to detail with fixtures. There isn’t a socket/switch that is straight and lots of fixtures are loose. Definitely needs a refurb.

We had the Hagia Sophia suite which was nice and spacious and as the name suggests, the view from the room of Hagia Sophia Mosque was amazing The hotel was nice and clean and also central to the mosques, museum and eating places There was no bar within the hotel and since it only had about 11 rooms it was nice and quiet, the staff were friendly and pleasant

The breakfast was pretty standard and more or less the same everyday We didn’t see it mentioned anywhere that they made fresh omelette and only found out a few days later when we saw one of the other guests order it

We had a large room (suite) and we really enjoyed it. A very nice boutique hotel, the hotel guests are also pleasant people. The service of the hotel staff was excellent. Whether it's from the maid, the restaurant employee and of course at the reception, there was excellent service at all hours of the day. Ravshan always liked to help and answer all our questions and navigate the neighborhood by explaining the map. The location of the hotel is excellent. About 15 minutes to the tram, and about 10 minutes to the subway. A building next to the hotel has an excellent home kebab restaurant. And 3 minutes away is a main street with many good restaurants that we ate at 3 of them. There are shops and about 1/4 hour walk to the big bazaar and on the way a pedestrian street with shops and right close to the hotel there is a supermarket. Close to the hotel, approximately 1/4 hour away, are all the must see sites of Istanbul. We liked this hotel and wen we will come back to Istanbul, I am sure we will come back to Agorelife hotel.

The staff were super friendly and helpful and their hospitality was overwhelming. The breakfast options were great with fresh local vegies, homemade pastries, authentic Turkish condiments and a lot more! The location was great, with main attractions and businesses for shopping and groceries within walking distances. In fact it was our second time staying at Agora Life. It was just a superb experience and we'll definitely stay there again just for the service and location!

The location is just perfect and central in Sultanahmet. The staff is amazingly friendly and are eager to help. They even helped with arranging our airport transfer and the prices were fair. Having breakfast at the rooftop with the view was the cherry on top. Highly recommend.

The breakfast spread was very limited and a little disappointing. However, the worst is that they do not label the food items. My husband is very sensitive to some food types and we had no clue which was safe to eat. Hope the hotel staff will start labeling their food next.

The location was perfect. A short walk from the Blue Mosque, the bazaar and the bridge. The rooms were good. The view on the ground floor is terrible as it faces an unused area. But the terrace has a great view.

The hotel is three star not four. The staff are very friendly. My only complaint is the breakfast. It was low quality but then I guess given the price of the rooms it was expected. If you're looking for location and are not that fussed about the breakfast options then this is perfect.

Very warm , present and helpful staff!!! The hotel is superclean , in a calm neighbourhood and so well situated ( 10 minutes walking from Agia Sophia, Bleu Cami, Cisterna, Hippodromme, Museum, Spicy Bazaar and Capali Carci… ) There are so many things to visit so the location of the hotel was really helpful. Has a supernice roof terrace that is always open to hang out for breakfast and the rest of the day and night with panoramic view of the city , Bosporus and Agia Sophia… We were very happy with the service, the staff and the location! The location was excellent. Very quiet. About a 15 minute walk to Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar or cruise docks. Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke good English and were always on duty. Helped us make restaurant reservations and negotiate a price with a taxi. We were in the Sophia suite on the top floor with huge picture windows on two sides which looked out on the Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia and the Golden Horn and in the distance the Bosphorus.
