The location is great , but the hospitality the staff showed is amazing we really felt like home , the swimming pool and spa is amazing .. rooms are spacious and so relaxing , definitely coming back

They just need to upgrade their breakfast options where it is so limited currently

Rooms a bit small. Location is in a super touristic part and around the hotel a lot of restaurants but they are all expensive,not tasty and the same.

All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Said and Levant went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They sign posted us to the most popular landmarks worth visiting, the best places to shop and advised us of the best method of transportation. They arranged a boat tour on the Bosphorus which was extremely enjoyable and well organised. The hotel is really well located near all major tourist sites such as the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia and is situated near the tram stop so is easily accessible. The breakfasts were really good offering a wide variety of of hot and cold food catering for my family's needs. Amiral Palace hotel is good value for money and I would highly recommend it for the staff alone! Its been a real pleasure staying here and we will definitely stay here again when we are next in Istanbul. Thank you to all the staff for making our trip so enjoyable!

There's nothing not to like!

Location is tops. Close to mosques and water. We enjoyed the gym and pool and sauna, roiftop bar is great and also used for breakfast. Room was good but a little small. Beeakfast nice but very sweet options.

Room a little tight. Staff just dont relate well to customers i didnt feel any warmth or bond. We has 2 nights booked but left at 10pm the second night to get a flight so we missed breakfast and missed sleeping there but no attempt to reduce cost or pack us a meal or offer us lunch instead. Went to upstairs bar triedto order a chicken kebab - not available! So we left.

This place was amazing. I booked after reading the reviews. Cleanliness is the most important to me and I will give 100 out of 100 on cleanliness. I didn’t see a single spot on any of the windows, mirrors or the floor. It was always squeaky clean. The staff was amazing. Specially want to call out Levent, Said, Yusuf. Levent was super helpful, kind, always smiling.. I hope they never lose him. Said was great and so helpful. Sara, Erkut and Yusuf and all the staff at the breakfast were very helpful and OMG Zainab the chef… best breakfast in the world. I hope the quality doesn’t go down. I will defo stay here again. Well done team Amiral Hotel! Whoever the owner of the hotel is, hope they can maintain their staff and the quality. Thank u for your hospitality.

Can’t think of anything but a good idea could be to have a couple of wheelchairs for the guests and buggy ride facility to the mosque / palace area. Some other hotels provide that.

The staff, from the cleaning lady to the reception, was very friendly. They treated us like special guests, very polite. The room was very clean, very beautiful bathroom, airconditioning was working perfect. Breakfast was very good, a lot of variety. The view on the roofrop was magnificent, to have breakfast every day looking at the Bosporus. I would give this hotel 5 stars! My compliments to the excellent staff! Before I booked this hotel, I read a lot of reviews of 4 star hotels, this one was the only one with no bad reviews at all and it is the truth. Thanks to this hotel, my stay in Istanbul was excellent.

Walking from the to hotel to the Haya Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cisterna, Topkapi Palace was 5 - 10 minutes, we only had to climb a street, as the hotel was below the normal streets. But that is the only thing.

The hotel location was perfect, we had everything all around us. The hotel reception was good, willing to help out with our requests. Breakfast was a challenge to decide what to eat and omelette and eggs were freshly made upon request. The rooms were very clean and attend each day. But what really made our stay perfect was the facilities-spa , sauna, hot steam, swimming pool and of course the Hammam. Jay who is in charge of the massage and hammam is just GREAT!! Hands of God... We will definitely stay there again and it's worth every penny..

I would only say that the restaurant could become better as of choices of dishes.

The location cant be better as well the facilities which the hotel provides. The leasure club with swimming pool / sauna was amazing and extremely kids friendly. The staff was very helpful throughout especially the cleaning staff as well the leasure club staff. They have wide variety of breakfast with an amazing view at roof top restaurant and each day they bring diversity in their breakfast buffet

The property is expensive compared to our other experiences within similar level hotels and big cities. The staff at restaurant (breakfast) is not efficient. They have lots of personnel there but often they talk with each other and are not proactively reaching out or taking away the plates or serving tea etc.

This has to be one of the most exceptional hotels I've ever stayed in. The location is excellent. You are 10 minutes walk from Sultanahmet Square, the Hagia Sophia, Mosaics museum, Basilica Cistern and the Blue Mosque and one of the main tram lines that gets you down to the waterfront ferries. The hotel is sparkling clean, modern and tastefully decorated. When entering your room, you will be instantly pleased with the size and decor. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom floors are heated. Hotel staff are very attentive and friendly. The lower floor of the hotel has a Spa (but we did not visit it). The hotel also has a rooftop full service restaurant that has fantastic views of the Golden Horn and Marmara Sea. The breakfast served is buffet style and has a tremendous variety of food and the quality is exceptionally good. If you can't find something you like, then you shouldn't be visiting Istanbul.

Simply put, there's nothing not to like at this hotel. The hotel rooms, location, staff and restaurant can't be beat for the price.

We came to Amiral having left a disappointing AirBnB in Taksim, so we were really in need of a place that would meet our expectations. The staff at Amiral are friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean, with everything we needed for our stay. The bed was really comfy, and sheets/pillows/towels all very clean and fresh. The breakfast at Amiral is amazing. In fact, we only went out for breakfast once as we enjoyed it so much - a great selection of everything you’d expect from a Turkish breakfast, with great views. The location couldn’t be better - just a few mins walk to shops/cafes/Aya Sofia, but just off a quieter street so you’re not disturbed by noise late at night. We tried the pool once and would have used it again if we were staying longer. The spa and gym area looked great, and staff offered for us to use it after our checkout before our flight. Overall, just brilliant and I’d recommend to anyone.

Our deluxe room only had a view out onto an external walkway. Staff did offer to change the room after a couple of days but we chose just to stay put and get settled. This is the only downside we could find!
