The location, just off the touristic streets of Sultanahmet, calm and convenient for reaching big part of the old city; the room, basic but comfortable, was serviced every day (bed made, change of towels,...) and the reason why I booked it: the view from the window. From our room, at the back of the building, you could see the few last buildings at the edge of the quarter, the open Sea of Marmara, the mouth of the Bosphorus and part of the Anatolian side of the city. You could enjoy that, magnified, every morning, at the breakfast room on the top of the building, The staff (Naweet, Iunnis and Aziz) were kind and attentive: the shower in our room was leaking, and as soon as another room with sea view was free, they moved us there.

It's an old building, with no lift. Naweet very kindly took our big luggage up; but, it's not a place for people with serious mobility issues. Since it's a hotel with no bar I would have appreciated a kettle and water in the room, giving you the option for a hot drink in the evening. An improvement for breakfast would be to have also hot milk. And a warning, in the back there is a small mosque so better take ear plugs for the 5 am prayers!

some general upgrade in hotel would be nice but for the price I did not mind also we spent most of time outside anyway there was no much space in breakfest terrace, you should remove at least 4 tables, even if there was maximum of guests, they would still have tables where to sit and move comfortable without pushing anyone or anything

Great small family-run hotel. Located in the heart of Istanbul. Rooms are small, but clean and have everything you need: a safe case, mini refrigerator, shampoo, hair conditioner, soap and plenty of towels. Breakfast is varied. I loved to stay on the terrace in the evening and have a cup of coffee or tea (self-service). The staff also helped us with parking our car on the narrow streets, which was a big help because of how tight the space is! I did ask for this in advance when booking our room though. Beautiful view of Istanbul! Gorgeous city with a lot of history. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

Everyone in hotel were so kind and helpful. It's a small business and everyone is connected, so most of things you need, they can and will arrange. They also take care if you complain about other companies and try to resolve everything. The location is really good and they have a seaview. I could say it is not the most beautiful room i had in my life, but it is the most heartwarming place because of all people who work there.

Under my window, there were constant constructions and noise. Based on my other travellings, i was a bit surprised with the quality of the room.

The location of the hotel is perfect . Unfortunately, didn’t make the first day due to the flight issues. Have spent 3 days , have visited lots of historical sightseeings. Hotel Staff is superb nice and friendly. It was my first time traveling to Turkey and feel happy to take this decision .

It’s been something under construction, they build something just in from of the hotel and terrible noice. But it’s not the hotel fault of course .

Location, very close to see great attractions and very nice view from the top floor. There were some nearby shops and restaurants. We really liked breakfast, very delicious. Staff was very kind.

Location, it is impossible to eat in restaurant for a reasonable price than you have to walk little bit further to get some food.

Mustapha and Sar Taj were brilliant.Breakfast was basic but good,service brilliant.No lift so be careful.

Tried to put us 4 in 2 separate hotels,close by. I refused. Was sorted.

Comfortable bed, good breakfast, nice sea view. Really cool and quiet location of the hotel. Nice terrace. Close to the city center. There are slippers in the room, shampoo and hair conditioner. Friendly staff! Thank you.

Impossible to close curtains. There is no outlet next to the refrigerator. There is no "do not disturb" card.

The owner set up our pick up from istanbul airport to the hotel and back €40 each way can't thank him enough. Beware of taxi drivers they WILL rip you off so this was great of the owner. Blue Mosque a stones throw away , call to prayer at 5am so be warned

The breakfast was very tasty, the dining room takes place ín the 5th floor we had a beautiful wiew to the sea. Our room had a beautiful view too. We had clean, fresh bedsheet/towels /every day. A lovely lady kept our room absolutelly tidy. It took us only 5 minutes to Sultanahmet square. There are a lot of restaurants near to the hotel offering delicious turkish meals -even seafood too- The staff was not only helpful, but always kind. The shuttle from/to the airport was convenient, punctual.
