We had an amazing stay at Livro Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our experience perfect. They were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always available to assist with anything we needed. The hotel itself was spotless, and we truly appreciated the high level of cleanliness. What made our stay even more special was the staff’s excellent recommendations. They not only gave us great suggestions for places to visit and dine but also took the extra step of booking activities and restaurants for us. This level of service made our trip so much smoother and more enjoyable. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. We stayed for four nights recently, this hotel was perfect for us and we highly recommend to others! 📍Amazing location, within walking distance of many of the main tourist attractions, which is great as we only had 3 full days to see as much of Istanbul as we could ! 🚗 I recommend booking your transfer to and from the airport to the hotel with reception. It was really easy and comfortable, the transfer company is located right outside the terminal and the fixed price is on par/slightly cheaper with what you will be charged via local taxi companies/Uber without any complications. You pay in cash at reception on arrival. 🛏 Very clean and modern rooms, the bed was also very comfortable. Bottled water and coffee/tea each day, fresh towels. We appreciated the delicious treats they left in the room on our final night ! There's a thermostat for heating/ac to your liking. Our room was facing the street but the noise was very minimal as it's a quiet side street, mainly pedestrians. 🍽 The breakfast was delicious, large selection to choose from there is something for everyone. Lovely bright dining area. 👥 Finally, the staff at Hotel Livro were beyond amazing. So friendly and helpful, answered all our questions and can help you book your excursions too. They kept great communication before our arrival and throughout our stay. Thank you for all the help, we would love to visit again !

The service was the best. The staff went beyond and above any expectations. They offer you tea and coffee upon arrival or when you come back after a day of sight seeing. They surprised us with a basket of Turkish delight in our room the evening before our checkout. They were so friendly and made us feel at home. They were knowledgeable and gave us great tips and info about the area. The location is perfect very close to all the landmarks of Faith neighborhood and close to metro and tram stations and also ferry station which makes public transportation easy in the busy Istanbul. Rooms were very clean with all needed amenities. The breakfast was awesome with a lot of variety. Thanks to the wonderful staff who made our stay so pleasant. especially Ahmet and Zarif. I highly recommend this hotel.

There was construction nearby it was noisy at times but the rooms were soundproof and it wasn’t that much of a problem . even though the hotel is located in a quiet street the neighborhood is busy and getting there by car will get you in traffic jam at the rush hour. But this is the same everywhere in Istanbul. train station is a short walk away which is a better way to get to the property during rush hour.

I looked at many properties before booking this one and this definitely exceeded expectations. The rooms were extremely neat and well kept. Definitely a 4 star property once you're inside. Got upgraded to a much bigger room, thanks to the generous the staff. Nice varieties of fresh turkish breakfast, salads, sausage, eggs, coffee/tea, cereal, fruit and baked treats. Staff provides good recommendations and very helpful, so make sure you ask to save time and get good options. Close to the shopping, metro and train station. In a quiet area, slight slope while coming up. Very much enjoyed our stay.

We were very impressed with the hotel, starting with friendly staff who were willing to help out and answer all questions we had. The manager even gave us a card for public transport so it made our trips throughout city easier. The hotel is in center, so everything is close by and reachable on foot, unless you wish to visit some further parts of Istanbul which was why we needed that public transport card. Breakfast changes every morning, it has a lot of different things to offer to satisfy everyone’s taste. Rooms are really clean, they change towels every day. The hotel is in very quiet street, even though it is in center. The hotel is very modern, it looks new and fresh once you get inside. Very quick registration. Very convenient check out time, you can check out until 12, unlike other hotels. Also, it was my birthday on one of the days and the staff was very nice about it. They decorated our room when we were out that day and brought us some food on the house. Really nice gesture!

All was very nice

Located in Sultanhamet close to Eminonu, the hotel allows to walk in the essential touristic part of Istanbul without needing public transportation or taxi. Close to Tram 1 station and the Sirkeci train station, it is also possible to easily access to public transportation. The hotel is quiet (which is for me extremely important when travelling), the front office people are very customer oriented. Breakfast is served on the 4th floor roof which is very pleasant. Air conditioning and hot water are OK. The room is also large enough for the location. Design is modern and clean. Overall a very good place for a quality stay in the very middle of Istanbul.

Above and beyond customer service from genuinely kind and helpful employees - it truly felt like a home away from home. We were incredibly happy with our stay at Livro Hotel, especially as it is also a short walk to many main tourist sites and restaurants. It also felt comfortable, safe and was great value with breakfast also included. Livro was exceptional in every way and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone else planning to holiday in Istanbul. We will definitely be re-booking when we return one day!

This hotel is very close to all the main sightseeing destinations in Istanbul. The true highlight of the hotel, though, is the staff members who work there at the reception, cleaning and preparing breakfast! They are always very attentive and polite, ready to help and resolve any issues.

There were a few minor issues with the water during our stay (that staff members addressed within a day). Next door, there is a construction site that makes loud noises during normal hours (this did not affect us too much since we were out most of the day). The rooms with balconies are very small, which again did not bother us too much, but it would be useful to know in advance.
