Very cosy small hotel in 5 minutes walking distance to Sultan Ahmed. The room was ok, had all necessary facilities. It was quite noisy in the evenings because of the two restaurants next to the hotel. The guys at the reception were very polite and helpful.

The breakfast definitely didn't meet our expectations. It was the same every day with no fruits and very limited choice of the other food. Although it was set up to 10:00, in 9:00 most of the food was gone. The dishes were dirty and sometimes it was difficult to find a clean plate or fork. The lady that was responsible for the breakfast was more interested in her cell phone than in doing her job. She didn't serve additional food when the plates were empty, didn't check is there are clean plates and cups, didn't clean the tables - you have to chase her and ask for everything. And the most absurd thing - provided that there was no food for the guests, she was filling her plate and was sitting to have breakfast while she was supposed to be working.

This hotel is a little gem! It is located very close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The rooms are indeed small, but really now, with so much to do outside the hotel, all you need is a comfortable place to sleep in at night, and we were very satisfied with our rooms. The breakfast has a lot of variety, and you can easily find child friendly food as well. Ms Ayla and the rest of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were cleaned and the towels were changed daily. We really had a pleasant stay at the Romantic Hotel, and if we will return to Istanbul, we will for sure consider to stay here again.

A baby chair would have been very helpful

We truly think we had the best room in all of Istanbul, given the price and location. It was quiet and peaceful even though it was right in the middle of tons of sights and restaurants. We had the most amazing view, and the room was spacious with a comfy couch and awesome big bed located perfectly to take it all in. The hostess was wonderful and breakfast was fresh and delicious.

The only reason we give this 9 stars instead of 10 is the sewer smell coming from the shower. We suspect this is because no p-trap was installed in the shower drain so either the owner should consider adding that, or find a drain cover to place over the drain when the shower isn't in use to prevent sewer gases from escaping.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for the second time, and it was a very comfortable and good experience. The staff were exceptional as always, the rooms were clean and in great condition. The breakfast was amazing and I just want to give special thanks to the wonderful lady who takes care of the hotel and breakfast at most times. Will be coming back with more family as I know this hotel will accommodate and make our experience in Istanbul even better. This hotel made me feel at home ❤️

There are so many things I liked about this property. 1) Breakfast was amazing and had so many options, always fresh and tasted great 2) Staff were very helpful and friendly especially with carrying luggage (special thanks to the women who works here helping with luggage and everything else). Staff were professional and knowledgeable about the area and best places to shop and overall just had a positive atmosphere and attitude 3) The room we got was perfect for mum and me, the windows to the street were the best as they shown us the streets and decorations of the hotel outside, the bathroom was clean and in perfect condition and the room smelt fresh and clean. There was cupboard space that we didn’t really use as we just open our luggage when we wanna change. Staff were friendly and offered us larger room but we were happy with the one we had booked. The room had a refrigerator and TV. 5/5 for the room. 4) Hotel is in a great area , near attraction sites dozen of restaurants (queb terrace lounge is beyond amazing) and walking to grand bazaar and shopping is very easy We will definitely be coming again and this will be our regular hotel as we are regular visitors to Istanbul.

Everything was perfect only check in time at the hotel is 1pm and we came in earlier than this which was around 10am and was told we were too early. They allowed us to leave our luggage in the hotel which is so kind of them and even helped us take it upstairs just outside our room. We returned at 1pm and our room was still not ready until around 2:30pm and remained sitting in reception. However staff were very friendly and apologetic and their kindness and efficient service outweighed the waiting time.

Breakfast was exceptional and the staff lovely. The hotel is rather small, so don't expect facilities. Some of the decor is possibly past its best, but the place has a real charm. Best of all is the location. Just a few minutes walk from all the major Sultanahmet locations. Absolutely ideal.

Nothing really. It was better than expected, but tailor your expectations to the fact that it is a very small hotel.

It is a tidy and beautiful small hotel. I like the atmosphere of the hotel. Staffs are so friendly. The receptionist Zafer and a lady who arranged the breakfast are so helpful. The location is so easy for the access of famous locations like Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topaki palace. If you visit Istanbul definitely it is the best place for your budget. Breakfast is worth for money.

the staff is friendly and helpfull near to the attraction location such as Hagia Sophia, Blue mosque, Sultanahmet Tomb, bazaar and restaurant. The staff even let us to keep our luggage in their room as our flight at night and the checkout were at 12noon. i like the omelette the most.

it dont have elevator and we need to climb to our room in 3rd floor but the staff are helping us with our luggage.

I stayed in this hotel with my friend for two days from July 10 until July 12, and we really enjoyed it. The boutique hotel is really unique and aesthetically pleasing. The staff were really friendly and just so helpful and accommodating. The room is comfortable, and the location is perfect. I also really enjoyed the breakfast.

Our room did not have a safe deposit box. However, the hotel did offer to keep anything we need in a safe deposit box at the reception. We personally did not go for this option, but at least they offered. The other con was the lack of electric sockets. There was only one in the room thats near the bed and one in the bathroom.

The boutique hotel was absolutely gorgeous on a beautiful cobbled street in Istanbul. It was within a 5 minute walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and other tourist attractions in Sultanahmet. Lots of fantastic restaurants close by too. The hotel team were very friendly and accommodating. They let us use the kitchen to warm up some milk for our child. We are very grateful. Thanks Ayla. We will be recommending this hotel to everyone visiting Istanbul. Hopefully we are able to visit again too.
