The location in the Sultanahmet Old Town is very near Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and Topkapi. The hotel is right on a tramline and very close to Galata Bridge, the ferries in Eminönü and the underground Marmaray subway line - makes traveling around the city easy. The bathroom is small but with a big shower space and excellent hot water and water pressure. Breakfast is quite good - many choices, especially with vegetarian dishes - the hotel serves real drip coffee, unlike many hotels in Turkey that serve Nescafe. Much of the food is made in-house by staff like our Georgian friend Maida. Unlike many places, tea, coffee, juices and water are available for free in the lobby throughout the day. Kristina from Armenia at the front desk was also great. and very helpful Internet and elevator worked well. Room safe is secure. A number of good and cheap places to eat nearby (find Hodjapasha pedestrian street but avoid tourist traps on main street). Unlike many places in Istanbul, sauna and steam room are available free of charge to guests. Massages highly recommended. Bed linens and towels changed more than is usual in this city. Room had airconditioning, but didn't need it. Nice porch to sit outside on next to pedestrian street.

Due to its great location, the hotel is in a busy tourist area. At times there is a lot of noise from the street, but the windows block it pretty well. Like most Sultanahmet hotels, the room is very small, but the big bed was comfortable. Sultanahmet is a conservative district, so it is hard to find and expensive to buy alcohol. The hotel has a roof terrace that would be nice if it was renovated.

The location was good! very near to the tram station. You should consider Sirkeci neighbourhood in your next trip. Breakfast was okay too. and they provide the weighing scale for your luggage.

We booked a room for 3 pax and we arrived, the staff was so nice to upgrade our room to 5 pax room. we stayed for one night and the next day, the staff told us that we need to change to a 3 pax room because they wanted to sell the 5 pax room to someone else. okay fine. at night when we return to our new room, its kinda small and we did not like it. We asked if there’s another 3 pax room. The staff took us to look at one 3 pax room and we like it. but unfortunately, we need to pay 35 euro if we wanted to change to that 3 pax room. and when i tried to negotiate, the staff kept saying, he can do anything. we don’t want to transferred twice so we just stay in that small room. very disappointed!

It’s a good Hotel - the staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Kristina, if you have problems about your stay at the hotel just go to her she’ll find immediately a solution for you or if you have any questions about your stay in Istanbul she’ll give you very good tips. Room service comes every day - they come in only if you push the button next to the door. Kristina if you see this, we thank you very much

first night we couldn’t sleep at all because of the smell of the Naphthalene balls which were in the bathroom - so next day we talked to Kristina at the reception she was very helpful and helped us changing the room. We had a better room with no smell and quiet.

Clean rooms, good breakfast and nice staff. Rooms are smallish as to be expected in a center of any city. The spa is located in the basement, generally open 13:00-23:00 but coordinate at reception. If you plan to use the spa (free for hotel guests) then follow this order: dry sauna, wet sauna, and then the hammam, where you can either bath yourself, or pay for a hammam treatment (soap massage). The hamman is not particularly hot, used mostly for bathing and not as a sauna. There's no pool or hot tub, but there's a dressing room and treatment rooms for paid massages.

We loved everything about our stay in this hotel. It is literally a few steps away from Topkapi palace wich is insanely beautiful and 10 minutes walk from Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. Also very close to Eminomu. Giving the amount of restaurants and shops nearby, it is susprisingly quiet. The staff was super friendly, always smiling and they listened to all our request. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but this was not a bother for us as we were on the historical side of the city and it is a known fact that rooms in hisyorical buildings are small. The room were cleaned daily and the towels were change every day. We really enjoyed our stay here and we will deffinetely come back.

The bathroom hardware could use a refresh.

I had a brilliant stay there. I liked everything from the reservation desk to the room. Ha! Breakfast was nice. Staff was very friendly and nice. Also, Staff is fluent in English and Russian. So, visitor won’t have communication issues. I am so grateful to Kristina 🌹 she helped me a lot during my visit the city. And guys (I don’t know their names), instantly fixed some stuff. in addition, location is perfect if you’re going to travel throughout the Istanbul. 7 mins to Marmaray station, 3 mins to Gulhane tram station, abt 10 mins to Eminonu tram, ferry, bus stations.

Location, wifi and breakfast were really good for the price. During the day (after the breakfast) we could drink the tea or soft drinks in the hotel without charge. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful especially Kristina and the cleaning lady.

First day we came into hotel, we got the room that was not on the pictures (very small, with low light and with door inside that connects with the other hotel room). We were unhappy and asked to switch rooms and we were allowed to move into bigger room with balcony within few hours. Soundproof was not the best but it is ok considering the location of the hotel (right next to the tram station - also at that time, railway was on reconstruction).
