The location of this hotel is perfect, and the staff is extremely friendly, and can help you with organizing excursions. They helped us book a night cruise which included transport from and back to the hotel, which was very nice and good value for money. The design of the hotel is also very nice.

The rooms are very small. They look bigger because of the mirrors, but in reality there is very little space. The breakfast was also pretty limited and it could be improved.

The hotel is in Sultanahmet district which is where Hagia Sofia, Blue mosque & Topcapi palace is. It is about 10-15 mins walk. It is in a quiet lane and yet very close to restaurants & shops. If you like the Ottoman style, ornate decor then you would certainly like the rooms. The staff is really nice and helpful. A special mention of Mustafa, Emre and Orhan!... They were all very sweet & helpful. The breakfast is decent.

There should be some drinking water in the room and tea/ coffee making facility. One has to go to the breakfast room to get some hot water.

Amazingly friendly staff and the hotel theme was inviting. They recommended a show on the river which we went with - of course it's for tourists and they are upselling but it was a great evening and very good value. They knew the answer to any question you cared to name. We were upgraded on the second day, as the hotel some rooms below ground level. However, both rooms were absolutely fine. Good Air conditioning and comfortable beds. Breakfast was pleasant with good choice and fresh eggs cooked as you like them. The location was great. Two minutes from the coast road and five minutes from the gardens of the Blue Mosque and Topkapi. The hotel is on a quiet street with a nice small restaurant directly opposite and a mini-market at the end. However, Turning right out of the hotel and walking around the block you will find a small bar to sit outside or just round from there a Terrace bar that seems lively in the evenings. All these are within one minute's walk. The Fish restaurant just to the left of the hotel does some lovely dishes and is worth a try too, so if you do not want to go into the really lively parts of Istanbul, then you can spend the entire evening almost within sight of the hotel. The area feels safe and whilst it is quite, is busy enough to be comfortable for anyone with such anxieties.

I think the tiles in both bathrooms would have benefitted from a deep clean - over time the grout has gone a little dark. However, they are not disgusting and it would not stop me staying there again! Some of the electricity points could do with refitting. Again nothing too bad and typical of similar hotels to be fair to them!

Outstanding place to stay in the city center of Istambul. Everything in short distance. From the beginning Mustafa and Orhan from Sultan Tughra Hotel has helped us to have pleasant moment, even my partner was a bit unwell but after airport pick-up that they've arranged nicely, warm welcome drink and also delicious red wine that they've complimented for us. For sure we will come back again. Great breakfast, and friendly server during the time was a plus!

The Hotel need restoration, more lights on the stairs, more flowers on the window. Just to make it more beautiful.

The location is nearby Hagia Sofia and Topkapi and the Blue mosque. And very close to the shore line where you can walk by the sea. The room is unique and comfortable in a well preserved more than hundred years building. nicely and uniquely decorated. the staff and service is superior. kind and good spirited people. I had the pleasure to meet Mostafa and Emre. They helped us in getting to know Istanbul in my first but not last visit to Istanbul and Sultan Tughra Hotel. the breakfast is good (Delicious, clean, Turkish and international, and great service. The stay is quite having calming sleep, and room was perfect for a comfortable stay.

The property is very nice and clean. It is very close from Sultan Ahmed area and near the cost. It is very stylish and staff were excellent, very polite, very kind. Mr. Mustafa and Emre were outstanding people and very helpful. Both were caring and warm in their friendly hosting. I highly recommend this place.

The room was little small.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sultan Turgha Hotel. This small boutique hotel location is very close to Istanbul's prime attractions like the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern. It is also within walking distance to the Grand Bazaar, the Galata Bridge and the Spice Bazaar. The staff of Sultan Turgha are super awesome! Very courteous and helpful like their front office managers like Orhan, the day shift manager, who's very helpful in getting us on how to get the local cellphone simcard, booked us for the Bosphorus Dinner cruise and directions to get around, Emre, the afternoon shift manager, very courteous and helpful and MUSTAFA, the night shift manager who helped us in getting a cab to the airport when our prebooked airport transportation failed to pick us up. Mustafa - you are a God-send. We would have missed our flight if not for your assistance. May Allah SWT bless you, my friend. And also the kitchen staff, Ms. Burulus, for the nice breakfast and obliging us with the omelette to be cooked as we like. Thank you, you all 🥰 Well done Sultan Turgha Hotel. Your staff do you GOOD! Having staff like these would make your patrons return again. 👍👍

Amazingly stylish and personal rooms, very helpful staff, clean and good quiet neighbourhood very central. Perfect for romance.

The room is a little small with 2 large suitcases but fine for a few nights. You can put the suitcases on the top level but it is not so easy to access them there. It was hard to black out the windows at night, This is the price you must pay for staying somewhere so personal and original at a reasonable rate. Still very much worth it just to indulge the Sultan in you.

The Staff were excellent and extremely helpful. The location was very central. It was also far enough to give you a little peace at night. The historical building was absolutely awesome. The sea was less than 2 minutes away.

It would've been better is everything was priced in Turkish Lira, rather than Euro, Dollars and Pounds. Bathroom could have been better.

The hotel is well-located, less than 10 mins walk to the Haghia Sofia and The Blue Mosque. There are lots of restaurants and mini-markets just minutes away, which was also convenient.

A kettle in the room would have been a nice addition! Although it was convenient having mini-markets nearby, items are ridiculously priced and appear to rip tourists off unfortunatately (e.g. 2 bananas cost more than £1.06).
