Beautiful, Grand Hotel and location is perfect for walking around to discover the uniqueness of downtown St. Petersburg, FL. Rooms were very comfortable. Staff was very efficient and friendly. They made sure we had all we needed and more. Hotel guest services reached out to me before the trip to give info on the hotel/resort and asked if we were celebrating any special occasion. I returned his email with an affirmation of our special event and we were surprised with a bottle of Prosecco and some macarons when we arrived.

They only issue I found was that although each staff member knew and did their job well, the different areas of the hotel, ie pool staff, house keeping, valets, even the front desk didn’t know details about the other areas. For example, no one could tell me how to reserve chairs at the pool. They could only tell me I’d have to ask the pool staff and how to get to the pool. Also, there was no direct phone line to the pool staff. Every call had to go through the front desk and if the desk was busy they couldn’t answer the phone and I’d have to call back. That was annoying and wasted valuable sunbathing time.

The food didn’t match the level of the property. We had lunch/dinner/bites at the three property restaurants/bar and all were blah at best. Had to send plates back as food was served cold. Kids pasta looked /tasted like it came out of a box. The food let down the experience and value.

the historic building is gorgeous, the room we had was very nicely designed and decorated. the only complaint was the large sofa was blocked by a coffee table that had to be up against the sofa to allow room to access that side of the bed, essentially making the sofa unusable.

everything was way too expensive.

We loved the layout of the room. It was very spacious though there was some type of a skirt over the box spring portion of the bed that had been bleached out by the sun and had marks on it, hideous.

I was appalled that a hotel of this caliber does not include internet service at no charge. I personally feel the gentleman that checked us in should have told us that if we signed up for Bonvoy, we could have gotten the internet free. We were also told by this gentleman that parking was $20.00 a day, which we agreed to, however the parking attendant told us as long as we are guests of the hotel, there is no charge for parking, we just hold our room key up to the scanner when we come in. This makes me feel like we got scammed by paying for the parking. The staff was wonderful at the promenade, the breakfast place, etc. The only reason I did not give the staff the highest score was because of the gentleman that checked us in. He was nice, but conned us on the parking, and the internet.

Everything was good the room was so comfortable and nice and I also felt at peace and enjoyed the view I needed to take a time off from everyone and this was what I needed 5/5

I didn't go to the pool because they had a construction I didn't have a chance to enjoy it I really would've liked to go swimming that was my only problem

Food at Paul Landings was decent. Service was excellent. The location is fantastic. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops

Certain elevators were not working making pool and other areas nearly inaccessible to this handicapped guest.

Difficulty of navigating all areas of resort as handicapped guest. One small smoking are with no seating.

Stayed on the Mezzanine, window was floor to ceiling, birds perched in the trees. the room and bath was spacious and clean. The covered porch, World Class Spa, Pool, THE VIEWS!!! Absolutely Stunning Hotel. Decor! The History!!! What is not to love?

A wedding took place, or some event and cars were backed up in Valet, but quickly handled and we were given the option to park in another place associated with the hotel. But honestly we love this Hotel, and cannot think of anything negative. The staff was attentive and accommodating.

room and pool area and service was very good. great location for walking the city. I did like the size of the bathroom and two sinks were great for getting ready faster. The bathroom amenities were also very good.

I felt the spa was not up to par for the level of this hotel. although the massages were good and staff friendly didn’t feel the area was up to the standard you would expect for hotel- also the shower in room was moldy in some corners so needs new grout-

It's a great property with access to a lovely/fun pool with food & drink Service; great tennis facility and several nice restaurants,all on premises. The golf course is only a mile away is in great shape!

Had some trouble with getting the room that we booked but got it cleared up. Maybe because of the COVID-19 situation, the cleaning of our room was terrible! Cleaning times missed 2 of our 6 days and what cleaning we did get was poorly done; but that didn't hinder us from having wonderful time!
