My family and I just spent the kindest, most fun, most welcoming vacation at the Grand Cosmopolitan Hotel. It indeed deserve the five stars rating and much more. Check-In: The check-in experience was a “breeze” with lovely and welcoming receptionists, the escort to the room by the receptionist was a nice gesture. In-room amenities and housekeeping: Everything a family needs as amenities in the room is available or can be arranged by the excellent staff. The housekeeping staff was excellent and attentive to all details as they make up the room, the room sparkled at each make up round. Sheets, towels, and tissues were regularly changed to pristine and neat replacements. Shout out to all housekeeping staff, especially Linn and all other workers whose names I unfortunately can’t remember. Gardenia Brasserie and Americano Cafe: A role model at hospitality. Breakfast at the Gardenia was vibrant with variety of dishes and hospitable staff. Ann was kind and hospitable to my family, especially my daughter. Waiters and waitresses at the Gardenia were kind and helpful with everything we needed. Coffee and pastry are mouthwatering at the Americano. During my stay, I had my morning turkish coffee fix by either Ann or Yelis which was done by the best people, and the perfect morning routine before I went about my day. Family Activities: Some days we didn’t have to leave the hotel as it offers nice and fun activities. Gym and Swimming pools, for adults and kids, with refreshments are available. Kids play area are also available. For relaxing, in-house wellness spa can be used. My daughter had an accident by the gym. The security and the duty manager were attending and offer all the help there is. They offer first aid and even asked to call a doctor. Later, they send a cake to our room which was a tremendously kind gesture.

Excellent professional staffs (reception, housekeeping, persons at gardenia restaurant). Extremely clean room, beds, spacious family room with excellent wifi. Large spacious wardrobe. Awesome clean rooftop swimming pool separate for kids and adults, children play area, gym, steam, sauna. Free basement parking. Abundant choice in breakfast. Staffs were very helpful, Margaret at reception, Md Rafiq in restaurant, people taking care in the gym and swimming pool area. It is class hotel, easily the best that I have stayed in UAE. All spaces in room, corridor, parking, lift, etc extremely clean, and modern. Family loved the stay. Start your journey here!

Some Indian food in breakfast could be added, but anyway present one was very nice as well. Nothing I can think of complaining, although I am extremely critical of places I stay.

Wonderful staff with attention to detail, luxury room, flexible maid service at times to suit via buttons by door, incredible meals, fabulous facilities, wonderful spa, free hotel transport to various malls, Kite beach and Marina beach with beach towels available from guest services. All the top tours you can book with confidence with guide at hotel. Nearby Metro station/buses and extremely safe and clean everywhere.

No balcony, so drying swimwear is difficult with the AC, but a washing line pulls out over the bath so that's great. If the bathroom had one heated towel rail on a timer for a couple of hours of an evening to dry items that would be really handy and it may avoid the towels needing changing each day too as they remain wet otherwise. It would be more environmentally friendly too.

The hotel is very nice, clean and the staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast is a good variety and continental  The pool is on top and with a great view

Location is a bit far from center and you need Taxi or car (With parking) to gt out There is a train station near but on weekend it is not working full time The rooms are not so sound proff as you can hear the next door

Without a great staff every hotel will fail... This hotel has the huge luck to have some amazing people on board. All of them do the needful all around the clock with a brilliant, attentive work to make their guests a real home. Just to add some names from those I spoke the most over these days: Ahmed (Restaurant), Ali Takla (Reception), Anastasia (Restaurant), Toni (my Omelett Chief in the Restaurant), Sabina (Backend) and last but not least Miss Sunshine Rajaa (Reception) and much others...

Everything about this hotel was amazing. The staff were lovely and helpful. Every day they called us a cab for us to get to meetings and also were helpful in recommending good places to eat and shop. The hotel manager, Tariq, was especially very helpful and friendly. The food was good and the hotel was very quiet and clean. In particular, the breakfast was very good, as was the restaurant and the rooftop pool. Gym facilities were also very good.

One big thing I would like to point out was that in advance there was nothing said about the hotel being dry? We were there for work - we would have found it convenient to meet clients in the hotel for drinks but we had to go to the nearby Novotels for this and it became very annoying and inconvenient. I do think the hotel should make it clear that it is alcohol free in the listing information as the listing says it has a bar, when in fact it does not! This is very misinformative.

It was very neat and clean. Location was decent. We didn’t get a chance to use the shuttle as it didn’t suit our timings. Beds and bathroom were comfortable. Pool area was also adequate with plenty of towels. Food was decent too.

We had the strangest check in experience. Their system was down, so no one told us anything about WiFi or escorted us to our room. We were just handed a key. I had to personally come down to get the payment sorted. I was travelling with two kids. I could tell they were overwhelmed with check ins, but we had to figure out things about the room ourselves. The shuttle bus timings were also not conveyed. We pretty much had to ask about everything ourselves. They aren’t direct with all the amenities that they offer.

Perfect location, a short walk to the Mashreq metro station, several restaurants, shops, and the Mall of Emirates are in the close neighborhood. Grand family room is just a perfect solution, extremely spacious, with all necessary facilities, including fridge, and tea and coffee set. Great bathroom. Roof top pool, dry and steam saunas are free for hotel guests. Breakfast is exceptionally good, with wide variety of hot and cold food and drinks. Reception desk and concierge staff is friendly and always ready to help and accommodate your requests. Late check out on last minute request and free luggage storage were available.

The gaming room is difficult to use and is not worth to pay for it. The tea and coffee service is the only down-side of the breakfast, normally it is a self-service, here you have to call a waiter to get a cup of coffee or tea, you want to have the second cup, same bothering procedure.

The duty manager Sabina and ball boys Mohamed where exceptional, they helped us out on numerous occasions and always made extra effort to make sure out stay was amazing, thank you ever so much its staff like these guys that help build an amazing atmosphere at the hotel and encourage people to return, they even helped locate out missing tickets which goes a long way.they were exceptional and probably best customer management ive experienced in all the hotels ive stayed at over the last 10 years.Thank you Sabina and Mohamed.

The kids love the swimming pool and the room’s bed was so comfortable. They gave us upgraded 2 bedroom with free of charge 😍 Also, we want to say thanks a lot to the duty manager Ms Hanan for her outstanding customer service and hospitality.
