If you want to experience an amazing hotel that is stunning in every detail, go to this hotel. the staff is amazing, helpful and smiling. I stayed for 4 days, everything was great, clean, organised, calm, quiet. the room size is fair enough. the breakfast is various. it is an experience you wouldnt want to miss. the history is here, and you feel the connection to the history of the ship. also, things are new, not old, no wear and tear except the authentic that must be. hot water is good, free water coffee and tea everyday. many elevators.
wifi not at best nearest metro is 10 min walk nearest market is 10 min walk no free shuttle to airportnlike other hotels you can hear your neighbors a little from walls no slippers

It’s a pleasure to step aboard this legendary vessel it feels like a journey back in time, and I’m so pleased the rich history of this British icon has been preserved and saved. Well done all concerned. Love the thearter and the team behind it are putting on amazing acts and shows they are doing an amazing job, surly your biggest asset? Also, the staff and customer service throughout the ship, is amazing, world class. Well done with your recruitment and training. I also love the antique décor, and nostalgia and old-world charm. I would suggest a lot more of the antique décor, and nostalgia, let this theme run though out the ship especially in the cabins. The modern paintings and art feels somewhat forced and out of place. For example, why have modern paintings in cabins It seems pointless trying to make it new. I would suggest old posters, photographs and objects in all the cabins. Also do we really need a TV I know it’s standard, in hotel rooms but it seems so out of place. Or if we do need a to let’s have a looped documentary of the ships story. On the whole, this is an amazing experience and extremely reasonable compared with other hotels in Dubai, but keep it old, don’t make it modern more more nostalgia, please.

The officer's cabin was comfortable and a good shower and bathroom. The QE2 is an icon and very special to be on.
Most of the ship was closed/empty, it was like a ghost ship on some decks. There were no shops or entertainment and the pub was really lacking in atmosphere. Only one restaurant providing a really mediocre buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was disappointing. A long waiting time at check-in and we didn't get access to our room until 5pm, having waited since 10am Ye. The hotel had been full the night before, so maybe understandable but still the long wait was unfortunate. The ship's tour did not include interesting areas such as the engine room and bridge and outside decks were under utilized.

Originally from Britain the novelty of staying on such an iconic liner was fascinating to me and eventually once I found my way around the alleyways of the boat thoroughly enjoyed it. Cabins very comfortable and the food options decent with buffet and an ala cart restaurant on deck
Took a while to find everything and get used to it. Location a bit out of the way with the traffic at times and I did not like Not being able to have a credit card auth taken so I could add things to my room. I did not need breakfast in my last morning because Of flight times but I had already paid at reception. Refund will take Up To 5 weeks.. very poor

The history of the ship and the cleanliness
There is this Indian woman working there. Who is prioritizing only Indian guests. I was already seated on the table near the window and i was asked to move to other table saying someone will be sitting there.

This is a legendary vessel and a unique place to stay. A little bit remote from places of interest, but itself is worth a discovery. Very satisfied to spend a night there and to wander around during the day. Some parts of the ship are in process of renovation. Some remain untouched. If you know the history of the ship, you'll love to stay onboard. Photos by Diplosophy.
Would not recommend for families with small children, but can be a romantic hotel for short stay for married couples.

It was a fascinating stay. The history and ambiance were awesome. The tour of the ship (extra charge) was a walk through time. Breakfast at the restaurant and food at the pub were quite good. The staff was super helpful and friendly.
The location is on a pier, segregated from the city by a major highway. Leaving the ship for any reason involves a taxi ride. The breakfast buffet is expensive. But good!

I had a great 8-day stay at this hotel in Dubai. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, and the staff was exceptionally polite and accommodating. Housekeeping did a fantastic job, ensuring everything was clean and comfortable throughout my stay. I also appreciated the complimentary daily coffee and tea-making facilities in the room, which was a nice touch. Plus, the free WiFi was reliable and convenient. Overall, a wonderful experience!
While my stay was enjoyable, there are a few areas that could be improved. Despite upgrading, we received a standard room with a small window for the sea view—it would have been nice if the window was slightly larger to enhance the experience. A small fridge in the room would be a great addition for added convenience. Due to ongoing construction in the nearby area, taking a longer route was necessary for the time being. Additionally, a small Bluetooth speaker or the option to connect a phone to the TV for music would have been a fantastic touch.

Loved our captain's balcony room. It had everything we would like in a hotel room with a balcony with a lovely view of the city & Burj Khalifa. As we were booked on half board basis, breakfast and dinner were included. Really enjoyed all the vegetarian choices for breakfast and dinner. Loved the Lido dining room and it's staff. Special mention to Vimellsa who was very welcoming and friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Service through out the hotel was excellent from reception to room cleaning staff to restaurant and bar staff. However the alcohol prices in bars were very expensive. The happy hour from 4 to 8pm should include draught beers too. Moreover the happy hour should be extended to dining room and other bars too. The hotel does need maintenance especially in outdoor areas. Also some of the indoor areas could be better used. Swimming pool in one of the lower decks was difficult to access and there were no chairs or beds to rest before/after a swim. I only visited once. Would have preferred a pool on the outer decks. Location was great. Only 10 to 12min walk to the Al Ghubaiba metro station and around 15min walk to the souks and creek area. Loved the Al Seef area too which was around 20min walk from the hotel. We would definitely love to visit this hotel again on one of our future visits to Dubai.
High alcohol prices in bars. Happy hour from 4 to 8pm in the pub didn't include draught beers Also some of the indoor areas could be better utilised. Outdoor areas needs maintenance Pool is not in a great location and no where to sit/relax before/after a swim.

Quirky and nostalgic . Enjoyed all the historical information around the ship . We stayed in a balcony room and upgraded to the waterside which was quieter . Good location and easy to walk to Dubai Creek etc . Taxis plentiful and helpful staff to navigate the area . Thoroughly recommend the hotel and the heritage tour .
The only thing we didn’t like was the lift style music that played 24 hours a day and did disturb us in our room . This did get finally switched off on our 3rd night of stay . Not sure if this was just an error or a permanent feature !
