Hesitated on booking this hotel because I saw a couple of negative reviews and seen it was only 3* but so glad I booked it, I don't usually leave reviews but don't want others to Hesitate like I did. Room was immaculate clean also great view from window and very child safe as I was worried about that. The pool is amazing didn't realise it was a heated salt water pool it was absolutely roasting and again in a very safe secure area for kids and not too deep which was perfect, the staff are so friendly and polite they are so helpful, didn't matter how busy they were they would help you straight away with anything you asked, also loved how well the English communication was from the staff, hotel is literally in an ideal spot. 5minute walk from dubai mall/burj khalifa, you get stunning views from Outside the hotel. Honestly their photos don't do it justice. I couldn't believe how close the hotel was to the burj, a thousand percent worth the price of the hotel, taxis always outside the hotel and are mega cheap if you take the hala taxis with the red roofs, was also impressed with the shop inside the hotel, seemed to be open all the time from really early to really late anyways which was perfect, also they had a great selection of food u can also get food heated up and they have a little bakery and a costa machine, they also sell all your holiday gifts etc.

Hotel: We stayed here for NYE, and it was the best choice to see the fireworks hassle-free. This little hotel is close to Burj Khalifa, and we upgraded our stay to a Burj Khalifa view for a fair price. It was fantastic for NYE. The hotel is very clean, with 24/7 cleaning services, and the staff is friendly and attentive to small details. For a 3-star hotel, it is excellent. The amenities are top-notch, including the pool, a small supermarket in the lobby, a tech corner for kids, a spacious lobby with couches to relax, and a laundry corner. Dubai Mall is just a 10-minute walk away. The room wasn’t big, but it was sufficient for a 3-night stay. All the essentials were provided. The bed and blanket were very comfortable, which my wife greatly appreciated. #happyroving

Improvements: The only suggestion would be to add more closet space for clothes. Also, getting NYE information from the hotel was a bit confusing. They seemed more focused on promoting dinner at TGI Fridays than simply answering our questions. To be honest, the dinner price for NYE was exaggerated—at least 1,400 AED (380 EUR / 370 USD) per person. While they said this was a normal price, we noticed that there were fewer people in the restaurant than in the lobby. We hope they offer fairer pricing in the future. Lastly, during checkout, they asked us to write a review immediately and even wanted to show us on our phone where to find it. This felt intrusive, especially when we were trying to get to our flight on time.

excellent breakfast,option to order extra, choice of quality omelette with cheese, avocado toast and waffles, French toast - we tried everything :)), super view on Burj Khalifa, very good ribs at FridayDays restaurant, It would be very nice to see congratulations on the mirror and on desk upon check-in, there were many options to use the shuttle to various attractions, but we did not use it due to inconsistency of plans

Our stay at Rove Downtown Dubai was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was modern, welcoming, and super trendy. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and well taken care of—always smiling and eager to help. The location couldn’t be better, with breathtaking views of the Burj Khalifa and easy access to Dubai Mall, which was just a short walk away. The rooms were impeccably clean, with a smart layout that maximized space and made it feel so cozy and functional. I also loved the little creative touches in the design—it made the whole place feel fresh and vibrant. The on-site restaurant,Friday's was another highlight—delicious breakfast and multiple choices. The common spaces were just as impressive, with a cool co working vibe, games to keep you entertained, and even a mini-store for anything you might need. Rove Downtown really nailed it when it comes to combining comfort, style, and affordability. We can’t recommend it enough, and we are already looking forward to our next stay. If you’re visiting Dubai, this place is perfect!

Room sizes are smaller than expected and advertised

The Rove exceeded my expectations. It is centrally located - only about a 10-minute walk to The Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa. There is a fantastic TGI Fridays in the hotel. They have a delicious breakfast and dinner menu. Everything was very modern and the staff was extremely helpful. A special thank you to Julia at the front desk for helping me with a manicure/pedicure reservation.

I looked out the ROVE Hotel window which showcased the world's tallest building (Burj Khalifa), and the Dubai Mall, magnificent day and night (with the beautiful lights on the buildings which shut off before midnight). I would like to thank the entire ROVE team for welcoming and assisting during my stay, yet I can only remember: the names of security Isaac, and Adam, the names in TGIF restaurant Heidi, Rizza, and Erwin. Thanking the entire ROVE team. When I left, I went to another ROVE property at the new location...

Really nothing. Okay, the wonderful food in Fridays restaurant could have been free, just kidding...

We arrived very early 9.30am from our flight but check-in wasn't until 4.00pm the girl at the check-in desk said to give her 5 minutes and she will see if we could check in early. As we booked an extra day because we were leaving at 11.00pm we didn't need breakfast so she told us to go and have some breakfast as it was already paid for on the last day and come back in an hour. While we had eating breakfast she came and were told our room was ready. The staff were very helpful through out the hotel from the reception staff to the restaurant and bar staff. very impressed.

Couldn't find the hairdryer and had to ask where it was kept. It was in a drawer in the bedroom area not in the bathroom and the cord was very short. I thought it was an odd place to keep the hairdryer. There were no usual amenities like a vanity kit, sanity bags, hand cream or extra toothbrush.

Rove downtown was recommended by a friend so we tried it. Location is excellent especially that it was just across Dubai Mall. It is also accessible to almost everything and always with available taxis at the front of the hotel. Our room has a safe which is very important. It is nice that a convenient store is open 24 hrs on the hotel and an attached restaurant (TGIF). Bathroom is nice and updated. It was also good to know that the hotel has an elevator lock key pass - no one can just go up if they don't have a door key or checked in at the hotel.

It was sad that our room has no dresser or cabinet, but it has hanging rod and hangers. I'm not sure if other rooms have. But it would be nice if they have, even just a small one to put our clothes in.

Like? Understatment. We LOVEd everything!!! Accommodating, friendly and decent. Rooms are perfect if you wanting to stay in or explore the city. Lobby is amazing vibe. Games, entertainment, meeting rooms all perfect for that vacay work balance life. Location perfect. But most of all Thank you Adnan. A true Ambassador for Rove Hotels. If u want anything when at rove, ask for Adnan. He will take care of u as if you his family!! Keep it up brother and inshallah see you soon again. Defs returning here.

I didnt like that they rated this hotel a 3 star and not a 4 star!!! Dubai- upgrade Rove downtown status please 🙏
