I stayed in a one-bedroom Woodland Pod. It was compact but was neat and well laid out. The separate seating area was superb along with the balcony. The bed space was cramped ( You got in from the bottom) as was the ensuite but this was well-fitted. Being in the forest meant the dawn chorus was very loud. One night in rained and you could hear the rain on the roof of the pod. My wife tells me people pay good money for this kind of sound. The gym and thermal suite were very good and the staff were helpful. Dinner was well priced and was good quality

Wi-fi in the pod was very poor even thought they had a signal booster. Breakfast was mediocre in terms of quality but was hot.

Excellent service and friendly staff. The quality of the food was of a high standard and reasonably priced. The House has a warming and relaxing environment, we even got a free coffee to take away with us on our journey home! We stayed in a woodland pod which was comfortable and warm. The location is great for exploring the area. If you are a keen walker/ hiker, you must go to Smugglers Cave and Dollar Glen. Scotland in all its beauty.

I thought the Spa treatment we had was over priced and the relaxation room and reception area for the Spa could be improved.

Booked this as a last minute overnight trip away and was unsure what to expect. The drive up to the main house was beautiful with the property set within stunning grounds. The features within the building were remarkable and we both admired them. We were welcomed at reception by a gentleman who offered to book our evening meal within the restaurant and also made us aware of the spa facilities on site. We made use of both the gym and spa areas. Both were great, once one area got a little busy there were different relaxation rooms that you could make use of. We stayed in the Paton suite which was out of this world. The bathroom was a delight with its free standing bath, chaise lounge and own private balcony. The room was cleaned to a high standard as was the rest of the public areas. We enjoyed our evening meal which was reasonably priced alongside drinks.

Unfortunately we got little sleep as the bed was not comfortable at all. We are not fussy people in the slightest, however the mattress was solid. Breakfast was also a bit of a let down, with the hot food placed under metal serving trays. Some of it was hard and inedible as it wasn't freshly cooked and had possibly been sitting out for some time. We would have definitely enjoyed breakfast more if the hot food was prepared fresh and made to order. There was a choice of breakfast cereals, pastries, yoghurt, fruit, ham and cheeses which were suffice. We feel that the staff could have had more interaction with the guests and made conversation. We feel there was zero effort. We are friendly, bubbly people and enjoy a chat.

We stayed in a woodland pod for my partner's birthday – it was absolutely magical in the autumn!! We've stayed in similar accomodation before in Scotland and Ireland, but this was an even more luxe version of what we're used to. Really loved staying in the pods, we will definitely come back as it's a more unique experience than the main house (which is still gorgeous!). Plenty of space for 2, great facilities, really comfy bed, spotlessly clean, beautiful setting, loved the outdoor patio and back window into the forest. The value for money is fantastic. With guest access to the spa facilities from 9am to 8pm, it's way better value than even a single spa afternoon per person where I live in Glasgow... We asked to check in early to use the spa before our pod was ready, this was no problem at all – the receptionist even left her desk to kindly give us a full tour of the spa as well as robes, slippers, and lockers for our bags hours before we were even checked in as guests. It was such a personable experience and we really appreciated that. On the subject of the staff, you absolutely cannot fault them. From the cleanliness of the room, to the friendly demeanour of everyone (from reception, to the housekeeping team, to the restaurant and bar front of house team) and their willingness to help, this was such a highlight. What's more, because I had mentioned it was for a birthday treat, we arrived at our pod after check-in to find a whole plate of fresh cakes and macarons, a birthday card, and were even offered a complimentary glass of prosecco each in the restaurant!! We were blown away by how kind this was, especially when the staff had to prepare for a wedding fair on the day we arrived, and an actual wedding the next day. We also asked very last minute for a late check-out which they had no problem with – this is pretty rare in hotels usually I find! Thanks so much to the team for everything. Looking forward to staying again.

Nothing we didn't like about our stay.

We had booked a "cabin" based on a view on Booking.com but upon arrival we found that stone steps and wooded paths were the only access and the car could not approach this unit. Having severe pain and a temporary mobility issue this was impossible for one of us. The manageress gave us an internal suite on the 1st floor (no lift) but the access was acceptable and the room beautiful. Both her and the staff were exceptionally efficient and we ended up having a lovely stay. The meal in the restaurant was simple but exceptionally well cooked and not expensive.

It should be made clear that people with mobility issues may have difficulties otherwise nothing to complain about.

Pod was warm and very clean .Staff were great sort out little niggles

A little disappointed with Ash pod, TV not working, though staff sorted it , no tea again staff happily supplied some. Pod a little tired looking compared to others we've stayed in at Inglewood Spa, not done out to same standard, like having a vacancy lock on bathroom door, chairs that look like they were from your venue rooms, paint and wood around bathroom and bathroom not quiet as good finish as in other pods.. Also no side access to bed had to crawl from bottom , personal preference but preferred other pods that allow at least one side access. ( 2 sixty year olds tired and stiff from long drive from Wales not the best, maybe younger couple would find it easier, but sofa bed option used for ease and extra comfort) But that said, pod was still warm , cosy and very clean ..

No rooms available in hotel, so booked a " luxury" pod. The pod was very small- could not access both sides of the bed, bathroom minute, and access via asteps and a gravel path far from ideal. Not our idea of luxury! When we spoke to the manager, he was extremely helpful and understanding and moved us to superior accomodation as he wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. He was a star! All staff pleasant and went out of their way to be helpful. Food very good, and a nice range of options. Overall, would recommend, as long as you stay away from the pods!!

The pods- see above.

Booked a woodland pod. It was situated at the rear of the main hotel, set amongst trees. Easy check-in with helpful, friendly staff. There was parking near to the accommodation. The pod was warm, clean and very cosy. Very comfy (small) double bed with window looking out to the trees. L-shaped sofa that converted to another large bed. Fridge, kettle, crockery and silverware supplied. Lovely wee shower room and toilet with heated towel rail. Power, heating, lighting and a TV. Bed linen and towels also supplied. There was a deck out front with table and chairs - unfortunately the weather was too poor to make use of them! Only booked one night but would have happily stayed longer.

Perhaps couple of hooks for hanging stuff in the bathroom? but all good otherwise.

Decent food, good spa facilties, huge room size and bed comfort (Alloway suite), free parking, excellent value for money. Exceeded all expectations for the price and considering it was a last minute booking en route to the Highlands.

Staff overall were friendly and helpful, but the initial welcome on reception wasn't the warmest and there were often times when reception was empty which made it tricky to ask about the spa. The Alloway suite could do with a couple more lamps, especially by the sofa in the window so you can comfortably read. It's a huge room but only has two lamps, and the ceiling light is dazzling to the point of being unpleasant. Overall it was great though, especially for the price.

As a frequent visitor to this hotel but always as a woodland pod resident e decided to opt for inside this time as a treat. We booked the Paton Suite following my retirement day and was impressed with the size of rooms, cleanliness and general elegance. Even a balcony to sit out on. Comfortable stay with a great breakfast and use of spa facility. Great all round experience and would go for this suite again. If there was a down ping it would be what appeared to be fake tan residue in the hot tub... this was brought to the staff attention for other person who may have had a bigger issue with this but the staff dealt with this quickly. As always a relaxing break and i will continue to visit this property.
