Lovely hotel. Good location. Excellent friendly staff.
When we booked via Booking.com we were sure we selected a room that had breakfast included. The booking confirmation we subsequently received from Booking.com stated that we had booked on a room-only basis and no breakfast was mentioned. We were careful when we did this booking because we got caught earlier this year (different hotel and location, also via Bookng.com) in the same way, when we arrived to be told that we had booked on a room-only basis, so no breakfast was included! There is obviously something amiss here with Booking.com and we will avoid this booking site when looking to book hotel accommodation in future!

Location, was excellent for central Bath and for an older person with walking difficulties. The breakfast was excellent, the on duty staff was very welcoming, smiling and happy to greet the guests. The room was small and the bed not so comfortable for us, and not comfortable pillows. We did have a River view. The was a drain smell in the bathroom. The room was not cleaned during our three day visit!
The long wait for the room to be ready. At check in 1600 only one receptionist for a queue of guests! Thirty minutes later to have a room key that didn't work. But was sorted by the room checker on the floor allocated. Small things but this is the Hilton!

Very close to city centre.
We had a free upgrade via booking.com but the room we were allocated certainly wasn't an upgrade. We asked the receptionist when we left what the upgraded room should have contained and she mentioned things that were certainly not in our room. However she would not accept what we told her and insisted her computer was correct. If we had physically paid extra for the upgraded room then we would have taken it further. Quite simply, check on arrival what type of room you are being allocated to ensure it's correct. Just because their computer says it's a superior room it doesn't mean it actually is!

Location is good. Walkable distance to places we wanted to go, the central area.
Shower area was very small, definitely not for one who is on the bigger side of at least 100kg. Location of the tap in shower is at the other end of the toilet. The shower is not enclosed so water splashed outside of shower area, wetting the floor. Room was poorly lit making it hard to read or look for items. Food at breakfast was the same every day. Do be warned that there is no secured private parking in the hotel. The Podium Parking is located next to hotel, making loading and unloading of luggage difficult, especially if you are travelling with a few huge luggage.

Good location
Rooms were beginning to look tired, small issues like bedside lamps not working, sink plug missing was annoying but not showstoppers. There was a bucket placed in the corridor to collect the dripping water leaking from the roof, but no warning signs to prevent anyone tripping over it! We had requested a quiet room at the back, but didn’t get one. The noise from the road outside the front comes through the double glazed windows, police and ambulance sirens and shouting from partying passers by woke us a few times.

Great location for Bath, plenty of on-site parking, very friendly staff (every single one!) and modern interior.
The cleaning could be better. Not only could the shower have looked cleaner, we also had a set of towels with smudged mascara over them (although tbf they were folded in place, so I can understand they might have overlooked it). In the bedroom we found a previous occupant’s sock and a vape on the floor. At night I could see dust or cobwebs on the textured wallpaper. The bedlinen had some holes.

This venue is a fairly modern property that couldn’t be better placed for the city centre and the famous attractions of Bath. Car Parking is provided by a basement facility shared with a nearby supermarket. There is no lift access so I had to carry my suitcase from the Second Basement level up 3 flights of stairs - maybe I should add I am 80 years old. I recommend you drop your bags off at the front door of the hotel before parking your car. At the time of writing the parking charge is £15 per day. The reception staff were professional and helpful. Access to rooms is via 2 relatively small lifts which state they take 8 passengers each. In reality, however, when factoring in luggage, that number is more like 6 which is a limited capacity given the four floors of rooms they are supposed to serve. During my stay, one lift was out of order so waits for the remaining lift were tedious. The room was compact with a double bed slotted into a confined alcove space giving limited access to either side. There are numerous electrical outlets complete with USB slots. There was ample cupboard and drawer space. The bed was comfortable with sufficient bedding and pillows. The bathroom was well-appointed with a wash basin, toilet, and shower stall. Soap, shampoo, and conditioning liquids are provided along with hand and bath towels. At breakfast, you are greeted warmly by a delightful hostess who explained what was on offer and ushers you to the best table available. I had good views over the river from my table. The variety of both cooked and cold dishes is extensive. I did not make use of the available restaurant and bar facilities. I spent a comfortable 3 nights at this venue which provides almost unrivaled access to Bath’s attractions.
Access by stairs from the car park to the hotel and limited lift capacity to rooms.

Lovely location staff were amazing
Disappointed with the toilet absolutely refused to flush even asked a lady from housekeeping to have a go but she couldn’t get it to flush either (room201) my friend in room 204 also had problems with the toilet in her bathroom, the electrical wall plug was hanging off the wall in the bathroom so she couldn’t have a shower for fear of the steam coming in contact with the electrical wires, we reported it to reception on arrival but unfortunately it was not repaired. We dined in the dining room and my husband being disabled dropped a small quantity of food which was still there when we went down for breakfast the following morning, when we reported it to a member of staff it was cleaned straight away. These incidents will not stop us from returning as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The rooms were very clean with lots of towels and comfy beds and bedding. The staff were exceptional - they went above and beyond to help with all we needed, arranged a late check out for me and my young children but especially helped me with a dilemma i wasn’t expecting to face! We had arranged the trip around my Husband’s business meetings and as he drove off for the day I realised in horror he had driven off accidentally with our suitcases and my only pair of trousers in tow, leaving me in the hotel room with two small children and no clothes to leave the hotel room with!!!! After calling reception, they were incredibly helpful and were able to find me a pair of lost property trousers from housekeeping so I could walk to the nearby by shops (3 mins away) with my dignity in tact. Very grateful for their help as I’m not quite sure what I would have done at check out (save donning a bed sheet like a Roman toga) Thanks to all involved. A great stay!

We loved where this is situated, right in the town so we really didn't have to walk far to get to anywhere. Staff were willing to go out of their way, especially Rose who upgraded us to a room with a bath and river view which we really appreciated. The lady at breakfast greeted us with a warm and happy smile, she really made our day! Breakfast was brilliant and we loved the double cream scrambled egg! Cozy and warm hotel that we hope to come back to again soon!
That before we were upgraded, not all the rooms had baths, only showers and then the hot water wasn't working for the first night but it got sorted in the end. The ceiling on fourth floor was leaking but this didn't affect our stay.
