Perfect central location, wonderful breakfast options, great value, exceptional, extra helpful & friendly staff, fun room decor, fabulous communications and super comfy in a historic building.

Spacious bathroom but a little dated compared to superior room, peeling paint & some mould in shower grout, window condensation, broken blind and overlooked by buildings opposite. In a front room so aware of outside noise as bars nearby but it is a characterful old building in a city centre location, so not surprising. Staircases showing wear and a little hard on the eye! Personal colour preference. :) Otherwise would have given 9.

LOVED the hottub, staff were friendly and helpful. Great location, very close to the main town/Roman Baths etc. The staff really went the extra mile to facilitate a good experience for my partners birthday and really made it special. We were able to store our baggage before checkout and after checkout which was really helpful. The room was warm, clean and very spacious. The breakfast was fantastic, lots of options available including dairy free, the breakfast staff were attentive.

When I arrived it took about 5-10 minutes for anyone to come to reception, which would've been fine if I wasn't on a tight schedule. The hotel is mostly lovely but a little run down in places.

Location ideal, only a few mins walk to various places of interest. Room spacious, bathroom clean and functional. Staff friendly and competent. Breakfast options are plentiful and quite tasty. Fan in room to keep us cool. Reasonably quiet also, we were afraid of possible noise from the street outside as there was a pub and a gin bar on either side of the hotel, but there was very little noise as it turned out.

The only thing for people to remember about this premises is that the building is old, and as a result, there is no lift. We were on the second floor and had to go up the stairs, which were a little tight. No problem for us, but for older people, it may be somewhat difficult

Location is perfect and just a 3-4 min walk from Charlotte Street Car Park. Is walking distance from all the great attractions, restaurants, hotels, etc. Room is sized perfectly for one or two people and the breakfast options are good (though I would personally recommend going literally 10 metres away from the entrance to Wild Cafe who have AMAZING breakfast options).

Very minor point, which is made clear before booking so not at all the fault of the hotel, but the rooms at the top are only accessible by stairs so it works fine with me but I can imagine may be a bit tedious if you have mobility issues or a lot of luggage. But this also comes with the benefit of some gorgeous views so it's more than worth it for me.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right in the heart of Bath, and on a cute street with small bars and an old pub. The rooms were suitably sized, though not large. The bathroom was high quality and the shower had good water pressure and temperature. The bed was comfortable too. Our room featured a dresser and a luggage rack that were both useful additions. The hotel has a bar downstairs, though it didn't seem to be manned. The decor of the hotel is very inviting, typical British fare, living up to the boutique name, but not in a tacky way. We have to say it was a great hotel that was very comfortable, perfectly situated at Bath's heart.

The room was not the largest, though you are working within the constraints of Baths very old and historic buildings! An unexpected factor was the loud chorus of seagulls by our window from the early hours. For a light sleeper they might be too loud.

The hotel itself is ADORABLE, and the location is absolutely perfect! Everything is decorated so beautifully and caringly with attention to detail. And the staff were all lovely and kind.

For my first night, the room the put me in (though BEAUTIFUL) could only be accessed by a winding stair, and then the toilet was not in the room but another flight of stairs, although the most FASCINATING toilet steeped in history I've ever seen! Very cool! Unfortunately I have a very bad knee so this was very hard for me. BUT the WONDERFUL staff moved me the next night. So, if you have mobility issues, best mention it at booking.

Harington’s was really quirky and unique inside , with some lovely touches , such as the hot tub which the kids loved, the robes and slippers , the friendliness and helpfulness of staff , the cosiness and decoration of the room and the lovely breakfast and breakfast room- including a lovely breakfast background playlist !

It wasn’t a big problem by any means , but if we had to be picky the proximity to the Raven at weekends could be a bit noisy with families with younger children. Request a room closer to the back if staying in the height of the season. This didn’t detract from our experience- but worth thinking about for planning for young families :-)

Amazing location with a great pub and food across the street and another cafe the other direction. Walkable to the Baths, Abbey, Circus and the Royal Crescent (and more). Super friendly staff that were also very helpful. The location is so central that there can be some noise from the street below, but it was never really late. (I slept with the window open, so I may have heard more than most, but it was never bad)

Gorgeous boutique hotel right in the heart of the centre. Beautifully decorated, lovely helpful staff. Great location. Chocolates and a card left in the room for my husbands birthday, which was a lovely touch.

Breakfast should have been included for the price paid. We were given a room right at the top of the building, which unfortunately the roof is the house of a swarm of seagulls who sounded like they were being slaughtered all night, it was like being in a horror film and I didn't get much sleep at all. However, I would stay at Harington's again but I would ask for a room on a lower floor.

The location is excellent although no view, but we did not expect that given the description and city setting. The room was nicely decorated and a lot was fitted into a relatively small space. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very acceptable - continental choice small but adequate and cooked breakfast was delicious.

I think the room we were in was starting to get a bit tired - some scuff marks, paintwork needing redone and some minor damage to furniture. I prefer to have room serviced daily - instead of having to hang a sign on the door to request. Breakfast self serve area was okay but no meat or cheese and only bread available was toast. On the subject of toast on two of the four days we requested but did not receive any! A cafetière would be better than serving small individual cups of coffee - we had to request a second cup every morning!
