The property was absolutely charming. The breakfast area and the room were so cute and it felt like being at someone’s home. It was quite lovely. The staff really paid attention to the smallest details. From ear plugs for the laughing seagulls to remembering our allergies and drink orders from day today. The food was amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The only issue we had was the heat being on the very top floor. The room came supplied with a Dyson fan, but it was still very hot. However, this wasn’t the fault of the staff, we managed by taking cold showers and just staying out the room and keeping the windows open at all times.

Really lovely building and interiors very well thought out and styled. Great to have the coffee shop and pub downstairs. The room was compact but comfortable and everything needed and more, was available and of very good quality

It’s an old building so no lift .. the stairs might not be great for some people. I’m not sure if any bedrooms were available at the back of the property but it was quite noisy in the front section in the morning .. the road wasn’t busy but it was a bus route and usual delivery/bin lorries etc not much can be done about that tho. It was very warm on the second floor but 2 free standing fans were provided.

Outstanding customer service, staff were friendly on check in and we even got a free glass of Prosecco and a beer in the room which was a nice touch. Regret not taking any pictures of the room as it and the bathroom were beautifully decorated. My partner especially loved the shower (it was big with really good water pressure). The bed was very comfortable too. We got breakfast included in the price of our room and it tasted amazing. Again you were sat somewhere beautifully decorated and the staff member serving breakfast was lovely. You could have pastries as well as ordering off a menu. My partner got the full English and I got the poached eggs and salmon and it was all delicious. We also ate at the sister pub next door, the Pig and Fiddle, and were blown away by the food in there too!

Only negative would be the room was too hot for my partner at night. I slept fine but my partner struggled a little in the heat. The room does have fans but I’d recommend perhaps getting a quieter one bedside.

Bedrooms are small but have everything you need and are decorated really nicely. The shower is amazing!!! The breakfast was delicious on both days. The location is perfect.

Check in was not the best. Arrived at 2:45 to be told room would not be ready until 3:30. Young girl in cafe said to come back later and she would put our luggage in the room. When we came back the bar manager checked us in, we were later in the pub and she was slagging us off to another member of staff saying how we had lied about checking in earlier in the day. Unprofessional and incorrect.

A lovely hotel in the heart of Bath, location perfect. Very nice atmosphere. Pub next door with reasonable food and nice drinks. Busy in the weekends. Super breakfast.

Rooms are truly on the small side, not enough space to shelter two suitcases which is a pity. But well equiped with USB portals for charging devices, tv, complentary drinks and coffee and tea. We had 'town view' but it was in the back of the hotel looking out on a very messy courtyard so that was a bit disappointing. A quiet room. On the other hand, the rooms with view to the street are less quiet, especially when bar close and empty bottles are put out on the street and collected.

Location couldn't have been better. The hotel is right in the heart of Bath but on the quieter side near all the boutique/independent shops. The staff were so helpful and couldn't do enough to help. The room was lovely and plenty of room. The breakfast was amazing and a great choice. The staff also pointed out that they could change the menu to accommodate you, which was helpful.

I was at the back of the hotel and there was an extractor fan from the pub that was on most of the time and very noisy, Wouldn't be a problem in winter but in summer when you want the window open it was very noisy. Nothing else to complain about.

Cute lil’ boutique hotel, oozing plenty of charm. It’s super close to the heart of Bath, so everything is fantastically close by. As a couple, we stayed in room 9, which certainly kept us fit going up and down the stairs, but we didn’t mind as we just enjoyed looking at the pictures, ornaments and the character features as we ascended/descended them! Before going out to indulge ourselves in the historical beauty that Bath gorgeously offers, we went for a drink next door - The Pig and Fiddle - which is nice and handy! We stayed Saturday until Sunday, and there was live music on the Saturday evening, which is either something to be aware of if you are wanting a quieter stay or grab a seat and enjoy the music if you are wanting a livelier stay. Breakfast was included in our booking, and our full English’s were really rather yummy! Highly recommend it! Our room was on the hot side, but the helpful staff member did forewarn us of it, and offered suggestions to keep the room cooler, plus a fan was in our pretty room… so Broad Street are doing what they can to make stays with them as comfortable as possible. All in all, I loved Broad Street Hotel and loved our stay ♥️

Our room was on the front side of the hotel, so it was rather noisy with the window open, which it needed to be on a hot day/evening, but that said, Broad Street provide ear plugs… so again, they’re doing all they can to help their customers.

Loved it! You're in the middle of all the action. From the outside it doesn't look much but the inside was really quaint. We had a big room, pretty and well appointed. They even had a free small bottle of prosecco in the fridge (a well stocked mini fridge if you were that way inclined). Breakfast was excellent. It was really quiet too (I'd wondered if it would be with the bar next door). Parking - the site says use Charlotte Street but we used the Podium car park as it's just across the street (beside the Hilton) and was only £15 for 24hrs.

The rooms are pretty warm but they did have Dyson fans to help. Also just need a few more English breakfast tea bags in the room... we only had enough for 1 cup each

lovely friendly staff and nicely decorated. Lovely bathroom. Nice facilities in the bedroom with coffee tea and complimentary glass of fizz. Nice breakfast. Lovely coffee. The Pig and Fiddle (pub next door part off the hotel) was really nice as well again with friendly staff and nice food.

They didn't have my choice for breakfast which was disappointing. The bed wasn't as comfy as i had hoped and the pillows were poor and only one each instead of the usual 2 to help sit up and read or watch TV. Although we are a bit fussy with a firm mattress and firm pillows to help back/hip issues so other people may find it fine

Breakfast was lovely, stylish decor and very good location!

Check in process was awful. Had to phone to get let in, no one would answer. Luckily a guest was outside and let us in. Wouldn’t take payment from our card even though funds were available and then ended up charging us twice. Rooms were roasting, even the Dyson fan didn’t do much. Free non alcoholic beer in the fridge a bit of a let down when your away for your holidays. Biscotti not filled up and McDonald tomato sauce sachets from previous guests in bedside drawer.
