Staff were very welcoming and always had time to help you. The location was very central close to great shops restaurants bus and train station historic attractions etc. The room was nice with a range of lighting options. On Tuesdays and Saturdays complimentary cheese and wine is available to the guests Those who become members can avail of 10% booking discounts and many other perks 24 hour RECEPTION SERVICE

The windows are sealed..cannot be opened to let in a stream of fresh air. Although air-conditioning is available it is a little chilling and I wouldn't be keen to use it during Winter stays. I found the room a little too warm at night. The duvets were heavy I would have been more comfortable with a lighter tog. Basic snacks were available but no restaurant style food however there are many good cafes and restaurants in the locality.

The hotel is in one of the most convenient spots. Located in the heart of the city centre it is perfect for someone who wants to explore bath without having to do too much walking. It is surrounded by things to do and places to eat, some of which being award winning restaurants. The location is enough to make me book again, however the price and the hotel room were far beyond anything I would have imagined for the price.

Only downside is the toilet/bathroom door being frosted glass, meaning that the place is excellent for couples and or family (depending on how close you are with one another), but gets a bit awkward when your fridns come over and want to use the bathroom. However this is not a downside , just something to look out for.

Another great stay at this hotel over the Xmas period. I was here at the same time in 2023, and everything was as good as before. Staff are excellent, friendly and efficient, and the central location is perfect for going out in the city. Room is very clean and quiet, and bed is comfortable: I slept soundly. The stay included the added bonus of a complementary cheese and wine buffet, much appreciated. All these factors made my stay very enjoyable and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Absolutely lovely staff, in particular the night staff; had a good laugh together on the first night with a bit of a 'feet clean' exercise - very therapeutic for me as I couldn't sleep. Please give them my best - you took a bad situation, and made it fun! Cleaning staff, lovely lady, topped me up with coffee, oh so sweat and kind. And great service of a late night snack and G&T. Wish I'd have had time for the breakfast - looked great! WiFi worked flawlessly. Aircon was just right, but would have been nice to be able to customise as I like to sleep in the cold. Lights and lights control was great, although it took some practice to figure out (suspect older/non-techsavy customers might struggle). Pillows absolutely perfect! Hotel very neat and clean - blackout blind al.ost too good! ...sorry about the 'hippie' bare sock custom. Showers great!

Uncomfortable not being able to open the window. Very annoying that light goes on automatically on highest level, especially at a late night entry - would have liked if it had had my prefered lower read-light setting customisable. Big button to flush the toilet kinda broke. A bit 'plasticy' compared to all other high standard equipmemt... Strangely the duvet didn't match pillows, and felt like my grandmas blanket cover - odd. A 'private' outdoor area to smoke/eat would have been nice.

As a frequent business traveler the Z Hotel provides everything that I look for in business travel accommodation, a clean, comfortable and modern room for 1 in a central location to where I needed to be, the staff were welcoming, informative and extremely helpful making my stay a pleasurable stress free experience, help was offered I didn't need to ask for it or submit a complaint form like I've had to do in other establishments just to get a basic level of service that one would expect.

I wish I'd known about Z Hotels years ago, I couldn't fault them on anything they far surpassed all expectations that I had, and when it comes to hotels I have high expectations in that resect. customer service is key for success,

The first thing that made me book this hotel was the location. I was going to a concert in Komedia and it is exactly just around the corner. Also it is close to all the tourist attractions, the further away ones being just a 10/12 minute walk and the bus and train stations too. The Christmas market is also one street away, plus there are plenty of restaurants and two supermarkets at 1 and 2 minutes distance. At the Tesco entrance is the stop of the bus that takes you straight to the Bristol airport. Also the price made me decide for this hotel, as they had an offer for those days, £126 for two nights. Not bad so near Christmas and if you use it as a double, but in my case it was single use. I expected the room smaller, it was more spacious than I thought, good for a single occupancy. Maybe a bit tighter for 2. There was no window, but I knew it and I didn't miss it. The bed was huge and very comfy, with a big TV on the wall at the feet. There's no wardrobe, just 3 pegs with hangers next to the bed. Also there is a stool and a desk with a small shelf below, that had a hair-dryer. Over the desk a bottle of water, 2 glasses, a kettle, two mugs, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. There's also a plug for the kettle next to it and two USB plugs, very useful if you want to avoid bringing UK adaptors. Also, on the wall right above, there are the light controls, with different options, and the temperature screen. The aircon/heating device was over the bed and worked well. Wi-fi also was faultless. The bathroom is a glass cubicle inside the room. I expected less privacy in it, but it was also better than I expected (I was on my own anyway, but for future visits). The shower worked well, no leaks to the room and the water was hot. There's a sink, a toilet, two towels per person, a pouch of hair and body wash (got a different kind on the second day) and a small soap.

On the negatives, my main problem with this hotel is that rates are non refundable. I booked here because I was travelling a week or two after, but not sure if I'd do the same if I had planned earlier. I also missed a space where you can put the luggage, or at least a closed space to put bags, given that there's no wardrobe. A drawer under the bed could be a solution that I have seen in other compact hotels like this. Also, the time on the TV was incorrect and couldn't find the way to change it. It is important if you set an alarm, because it woke me up an hour before I expected. Apart from that, everything was perfect!

the location of the hotel was fantastic, very central and a short walk to all shops, being able to check in early hours of boxing day was fantastic as our busy schedule meant we were able to stay in a comfortable hotel. hotel was reasonably priced, but for the price i would’ve expected a slightly larger room, however the room we did have was cosy and a efficient use of space. the staff we friendly and when phoning ahead to check the staff answered quickly, although were keen to get off of the phones also.

we had a staff member walk into our room when the do not disturb sign was on, they were very apologetic when we checked out so was all well in the end! i believe it happened due to us purchasing a late check out when we checked in and that may not have been informed to the staff.

Lovely hotel, short walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk to the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey and the Christmas Market which we were there to visit. All the staff we encountered were so welcoming and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and included a toilet, shower, towels, soap, hair and body wash, large tv, hairdryer, kettle with sachets of tea, herbal tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, sugar. Would definitely recommend and will book again when we return to visit Bath.

The Z Hotel is extremely well located and is central to all restaurants, tourist attractions and transport. Such a great location! The opportunity to use the wifi and workspaces in the reception area as a hub is excellent as well - it creates a great vibe for the hotel. The coffee is great as well. The staff are really helpful and friendly - nothing is too much trouble. Makes such a welcoming atmosphere for the hotel.

Nothing really - small point is that the rooms could have a few more clothes hangers. Expect that that the rooms are small but more than compensated for with the compact living space being used very well, the availability of fabulous gathering spaces downstairs in the reception area and the central location of the hotel.

The location was excellent, close to the station and within easy walking distance of places of interest as well as bars and restaurants. The room was small but very comfortable. It was clean with a fantastic shower and plenty of towels too. On arrival they were even having a complimentary cheese and wine evening which I was invited to take part in. The staff were welcoming and also helpful, providing advice and information around places to go and visit. They were also able to store my bags securely for me while I went out and about before catching my train home.

There was nothing to dislike really.
