We passed through Pateley Bridge whilst cycling Way of the Roses and Maria & Steve took care of all of our needs; letting us takeover their front room with our bikes and fuelling us with an excellent breakfast. We left some belongings behind and they agreed to mail them back to us and they even remained amicable despite one of our party riding off with a room key! The location was perfect, in the centre of town and next door to the pub we'd booked for dinner!
My only gripe was the springs on one side of the bed had gone, meaning a lopsided night's sleep that wasn't helped by the warm weather, but it's hard to hold them responsible for that!

Brilliant location centrally in Pateley Bridge, hosts could not have been more helpful of friendly - the weather had been awful and we arrived on both bikes and in a car. They found space to store the bikes indoors for us and provided an electric dryer to dry off our wet gear overnight none of which was expected so full marks for being so accommodating. There is no attached car park but there is a large public car park opposite where the car can be left overnight and paid in advance for a few hours in the morning. No provision for evening meals but plenty of places nearby or a short drive away. The breakfast here was excellent, and the rooms were very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Recommended!
Nothing to dislike here at all .

The hospitality was second to none. Really friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in the smallest room, which was adequate for our needs. Really comfortable bed with a good selection of coffee, tea, and biscuits. This was the best breakfast ever cooked. Thank you, Steve. , All locally sourced food. As well as a cooked breakfast, there was toast, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, fruit juices, and coffee. Maria's cakes were delicious, so much so I asked for the recipe for her delicious lemon and raspberry cake, which she willingly gave me. A thank you to the young man who helps in the tea room who was very friendly.
The only thing would be that we wished we'd booked a larger room, although it didn't spoil our stay as it was adequate for a one night stay.

I thought breakfast was very good and vegetarian aware. Vegetarian sausages good but not exceptional. The yoghurt was outstanding, and I appreciated its live cultures rather than the dead products many hotels supply. A really thoughtful bonus was the fresh milk provided at the reception desk/fridge beneath it, for use in coffee and tea making in my room. Good coffee, teas, and biscuits provided in my very pleasing room, with a most comfy double bed. The shower in my bathroom was top grade. Helpful local information provided. Liked the sitting room downstairs.
This is a beautiful and historic hotel at a central location in Pateley Bridge. Because of its age there is no lift, which may concern some, but not a problem for me. I wonder a bit about there not being a mixer tap for the bathroom hand basin, but I can also see the merit of having separate hot and cold taps.

Whilst the room was small, it was what we had booked so we were happy with it. It was spotlessly clean, bed was very comfortable, very quiet environment so we had a great night's sleep 😴. Shower was easy to operate and water nice and hot. The icing on the cake, so to speak, was breakfast. It was amazing, all fresh, local produce, well cooked as you ordered, very tasty. All in all a great night's stay thank you.

It was a friendly charming b&b centrally located in the village with a lovely tea room. The bedroom was spacious with all the trimmings, teat, coffee and fresh milk. Breakfast was delicious. The host kindly made me a bacon sandwich to take away.
The soap dispensers in the bathroom weren’t working that well, maybe they were slightly blocked. I couldn’t sit in the yard in the evening on a hot day due to their dog.

Centrally located in town. Historic 250 year old building, quaintly decorated and furnished. Easy walking distance to pubs and restaurants and boutique shops. Breakfast was excellent and advice for a days activities was great.
Our room was open to the main street, so quite noisy as the traffic passed right by our window. We arrived in a downpour , no immediate parking available.

On the Way of the Roses route, a stay here is a perfect stop. The hosts are friendly and accommodating, keeping bikes secure. They have thought of everything that one needs in the room. Our room at the top was spacious and clean and we used the armchairs to chill out there for the evening. The shower was powerful. We slept well and the breakfast was outstanding.

The accommodation was warm and cosy and the room had everything we needed, including fresh milk (not the cheap plastic pots you get in some places). The shower was absolutely enormous! The B&B is ideally located in Pateley Bridge, which is a lovely place to explore. We had dinner at the Crown Pub down the road which does very good food and huge portions! Our hosts were lovely and friendly and the breakfast they gave us in the morning was superb! We did not have time to try the tea rooms but the cakes looked amazing! I would highly recommend and would stay again if I were back in the area. This is one of those proper traditional welcoming family places that are harder to find nowadays.
The room was a bit noisy late at night with the odd car racing through the village and people coming out of the pub, but after about midnight it all went quieter outside anyway so it was not a huge problem. It was lovely to wake in the morning to the bird song :)

Located in the centre of Pateley Bridge. Room spotless and in great decorative condition. Good breakfast, friendly hosts. Indoor space to store our bikes. We had spent the previous night in Settle, and this was much better value.
Nothing major, though the water pressure in the shower could have been better and a better selection of toiletries would have been welcome.
