Great indian Bar next door serves fresh cooked indan starters & currys, Hotel staff have no problem with you bringing food back to the room, so great hotel service & then great staff member at reception was very polite, professional & helpful sorting my room. I had a nice comfortable stay. In a nice well maintained clean & comfortable room.

No plates, both hotel or restaurant next door don't offer plates for food. Note: The restaurant next door is a separate business from the hotel. Most regulars in bar next door, comented that the hotel has bit of reputation for allowing " ladys of the night " made me laugh, becuse i said im just staying the night, visting work related. Mabye, this is for the hotel to monitor. But dont let this put you off . it's a clean and safe, secure involvement with friendly staff on site... who are more than accomadating to help

The receptionist was a young chap of Polish origin called Pawell. He was very friendly and courteous and made me a cup of tea and chatted with me for about 30 mins about the area and things in general. In the time he also attended to other guests so did not compromise his professional obligations. Such service is rare in this day and age and it goes to his credit that he was so outgoing and decent. Between us we also fixed a mobile phone difficulty a guest visiting from the middle East was experiencing. In general a cascading friendly atmosphere was created by Pawell's friendly and helpful demeanour and I wish him every success in the hospitality trade to which he us very well suited.

Excellent service, room was spacious and comfortable, beds were excellent. Was able to fit wheelchair within the room even though it wasn't a disability access, just standard, receptionists were very polite, and accommodating to see if the room would be acceptable before booking.

Cooked breakfast would've been a better choice, better smoking areas would've been preferred, tv's would've been better being checked if they work ideally.

When I booked it looked like just a place to lay my head for the night. When I turned up, I could not believe how clean the room was. The bathroom was good enough for me to have my breakfast, I was shocked at the effort they take to keep the place clean and well stocked. Staff were polite and helpful. I was late for breakfast and they got me some breakfast and could not more helpful. This place is a hidden gem, looking from the road you would never guess how beautiful it is. I honestly felt that I had underpaid for my stay.

It was during the heat wave and the room has a tiny window at the top. This did not allow any meaningful ventilation. Maybe in future they could think of getting fans for the rooms, as heat waves are now a regular occurrence.

For the price, I wasn't expecting much but it was warm, quiet and comfortable and the breakfast was basic but fine. The breakfast staff were smiling too. Parking here is good and the location is very accessible. The nearby streets and shopping area seem safe and have plenty of good, ethnic shops, especially afro-caribbean

There a quite a few rooms on each floor and only one shower/toilet. Fine for me but not great if you need easy toilet access or like a regular shower. I guess all the rooms gave a washbasin - my single did.

Bed was super comfy, room was warm and had a sink. Easy to find and in a good location for getting to and from Villa Park, via bus or a 45 min walk. Parking available. Lovely staff, who were really accommodating. Nice little Bar. Will definitely use this hotel again. Price was great.

Hotel is a bit dated, the shared bathroom wasn't great with light on timer switching off every 10 seconds! Walls and windows a bit thin so a little noisy in the room but the good points outway the not so good!

Booked in for me and dog as we were competing at Crufts. We received a lovely warm welcome from all the staff and my dog was spoilt rotten. Our room was comfortable with a lovely Mira shower. I had everything I needed. Breakfast was basic but perfectly adequate. Location is really good. Easy to find, good parking and a park 2 minutes away to walk my dog. The other guests were lovely and very welcoming as a lot of them are regulars. Nothing was too much trouble. The onsite Chinese restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. As I couldn't take my dog into the restaurant we were served in the bar area. Would definitely stay again.

If I have to think of any negatives then I would say it was a bit noisy but once everyone had gone to bed it was very quiet.

The location is perfect,close to people I know,the staff like Anthony,Charles and the sweet cleaning lady,very polite and friendly,really welcoming with a relaxed atmosphere.great place to stay ,I highly recommend.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

A functional Guest House. Our rooms were single bed with TV and sink, Tea and Coffee. Fine for what we needed. breakfast was good with juice, cereal and full English. No Complaints.

The bathroom light was on a PIR that i couldn't figure out how to keep on without moving about.

Paid £32 including breakfast so my expectations weren’t high. Room was surprisingly clean.

Attitude of the male that served breakfast. Doesn’t matter how cheap it is, basic manners should be included. Minor points… Smell of smoke in corridors. Toilet wasn’t very powerful, took a long time to refill with water for a second flush.
