What can I say apart from another fantastic stay at The Station Inn, we even ended up staying an extra day. Donna and the staff are so easy to talk to and get along with, they are always willing to help. Glad to see tea and coffee in the rooms now. Rooms are clean, nice thick towels, fun friendly pub, take aways nearby, bus stops outside train up the road, can’t wait for our next time to come and stay , thank you x

If I had to pick something on here all I would say the mattress wasn’t the best ( certainly wasn’t the worst) but for the price paid and everything else that’s good about staying there then it’s nothing really

You get what you pay for. Simple room for an affordable price. No kettles in room so staff bent over backwards to get one for us, Manager was more than helpful when our bank card got swallowed. We always stay here when we come up to Brum. Wouldn't even contemplate going anywhere else

When you pay £50 deposit, you should be able to access it back on departure. We had to leave early to catch coach and we had to wait ages for it, nearly missing the coach. Rooms were semi clean, quite a bit of dust. Also no mattress protectors. However it's still work in progress and I know the Manager is working on it.

Price, location was good.

They did not clean the room before our stay, but wanted to charge us extra for the 1 more hour we spent after the check out, while nobody attempted to clean the room :)

Location is great a few minutes from train station. Rooms were better than I thought they would me, all the staff including the landlady, cleaning crew and bar staff were friendly. No dinners were being served but loads of local takeaways which we were told if we wanted to we could eat them in the pub and they would get us plates etc. hardly heard any noise from the bar or the road outside even though we kepted the bedroom window open. Toiletries were provided, towels and bedding clean and soft

If I had to pick one fault then it would have to be that I Wish there was a toilet brush and it would had been great to have a evening meal cooked there

That it was clean and tidy and had a nice night life and was also near a 24 hour shop

The rude receptionist the day we checked in. As I didn’t know we needed a deposit as it should be made clearer on the site instead of in terms and conditions. Also the fact that she photo copied my bank card as I’d. So anyone could have got hold of my bank details. Was not acceptable. Also needs to be made clearer you need id on the site as I would if brought provisional license or passport. Iv had to cancel my card and await a new one as no one should have my bank details

5 nights here again the staff are lovely , had a small problem with my room but they sorted it instantly. Near to station and food places, bus stop outside , bar had a great atmosphere, Errol was great on the sounds , we had a great relaxing time to spend quality time together which we have to snatch here and there due to partners work, no stress there looking forward to our next stay

The location was perfect for our needs and the staff went above and beyond to ensure the best service possible. The manager Debbie was extremely helpful with nothing being to much trouble and provided complementary items in the room for my partners birthday prior to our arrival. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely book again without any doubt.

The only fault I can mention would be the bed being slightly uncomfortable.

I like that the property is so well organised and run and easy to access. It’s clean and there’s a pub next door where you can get basic food and a breakfast in the morning that you can order as extra. I also like that it isn’t a high-rise property and that I can park easily and safely there. There is tea and coffee and kettle in the rooms now and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly.

The staff were absolutely brilliant. Great location. Had a very comfy stay They had a theme day on and the locals were friendly and full of fun ! The rooms were clean, comfy and quite spacious. Excellent value for money. Maybe wouldn’t recommend for a family with small children as it’s a very busy lively pub. We had a full English breakfast in the morning and again it was excellent!! We loved it and would definitely stay again. Thank you ‘The Station’ xxx

My only criticism would be to maybe put the price of the room up slightly and include tea & coffee facilities…I like a brew during the night xx

I really like staying at The Station Inn - the staff are so nice, friendly and helpful. It has everything you need and it's safe and secure. I also like that I can park my car safely in the car park at no extra charge and that I can have a drink in the pub itself and everyone is friendly.

There's nothing to say here and for that reason, it's my go-to when I stay in Birmingham.
