The bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately that's all the superior room was good for .

Grubby room in need of a lick of paint. No place for clothes. Toilet needs sorting had to flush multiple times that was just for tissue.

Room was fine for 3 adults, plenty of storage space for al. Breakfast was fantastic each morning and our meal on Saturday night was great, the food was perfect and the price very reasonable for a hotel. The staff were all really helpful, polite and friendly all weekend.

The flush in the bathroom of our room wasn't good enough to even flush toilet paper away resulting in us having to flush 5 or six time each time the toilet was used which wasn't very good for 3 folk sharing. This was the case even for just urine. Don't know if its the plumbing in the full gotel or just an issue with room 104 but would suggest it's looked as as did cause some inconvenience if needed by more than 1 person in a 15 minute time period.

Great breakfast, tram right outside, lovely facilities, prices of food was reasonable, room was lovely. However the main thing for us was how wonderfully friendly and kind every single member of staff were! We travelled with our two year old and from the minute we walked in the staff were so welcoming with her. They were all friendly, helpful and approachable. Particularly a lady (I think her name may be Katie) who gave our daughter stickers and was just so kind! The lady in the breakfast room was also super friendly! It's lovely to go somewhere with a young child and not once feel like she is in the way.

We really enjoyed our stay,the staff were all very friendly and helpful and happy to have a chat about our stay and plans for the day 🙂 The breakfast was great with lots of options to choose from, including fantastic hot food which was always cooked perfectly to cereal options and croissants,toast,mini muffins, yoghurt and fruit as well as a good selection of tea , coffee and juice. Tram stop just across from the hotel makes it a convenient location to all that Blackpool and surrounding areas have to offer. Room was big enough with a comfy bed a bath and a shower, hairdryer and iron.would definitely recommend and are hoping to book again soon.😊

We liked everything although the room did get very stuffy as you couldn't open the windows, but we did get a fan which made a difference.

I like the Carlton Hotel because there is parking facilities at the front of the Hotel. The Hotel is right on the sea front, away from the town centre but not too far away. There is a tram service right outside too. The staff are friendly and helpful and helped us to get a room accessible by a lift. We were very happy to get a room with a sea view. The meals were cooked to a high standard and the staff were pleasant and polite when waiting on table (for evening meal which was optional) and convenient. Everywhere was clean in the Hotel and also the linens in the room. The only drawback to our room was the shower, which had no grab rail on the wall. The Hotel has a lovely terrace where guests can sit outside, enjoy a cuppa and look out at the sea view. Blackpool shops and the famous Tower are nearby, also Lytham St Anne's where there are Cafes and shops and which is near to the seafront. I would recommend this Hotel and we hope to return.

The entire Hotel & room was spotlessly clean & the bed was super comfortable

We had a very bad experience trying to have an evening meal there,we arrived at 8.35pm but everything we tried order went were told the kitchen couldn't make because the oven was not working ? & then a different member of staff approached us with an argumentative attitude telling us we were too late to order food as the last orders were 8.45pm(menu in the room says 9pm)l explained we arrived at 8.35pm but he continued with an attitude to dispute this so we simply got up & left & went to a nearby restaurant instead,the attitude of this member of staff ruined what would have been a perfect 10 out of 10 stay

The room was very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable, a huge plus was the two fans provided. The room was very warm so the fans were a Godsend.

This hotel is dog friendly! Ordinarily not a problem, but dogs are allowed in the dining room. One couple who had two dogs actually allowed one of the dogs to sit on a chair at the table. Another lady was feeding her dog scrambled egg under the table. There were at least five dogs in the dining room. For someone like me who is asthmatic and allergic to some dogs, this is a HUGE NO, NO!! We did complain to the receptionist however, who rightly pointed out that the hotel was dog friendly, but dogs are not allowed to sit on the furniture. But to me, allowing dogs in the dining room is not acceptable. Sadly, we will not be returning to this hotel.

Breakfast is a good choice, although not over hot, staff at breakfast were really lovely and a credit to the hotel. Parking for disabled people was excellent parked close to the door. Location very good and bus and tram stops outside hotel. Evening meals were very good but could do with more of a choice, cost reasonable.

As a disabled person, it was almost impossible to open all external doors. This should be addressed. On arrival Chris on reception was not at all customer focused, I was totally breathless after entering the hotel and had to sit down, no help was offered and was reluctant to even enter my registration number into the machine for me. I had to ask for help with the case and very kindly the maintenance man offered to help and was really polite. At evening meal Jonjo insisted we paid for our meal as soon as we finished eating, we felt like we were being very rushed. (All the staff on Wednesday and Thursday were really nice) Plug only by bed on one side

Perfect location , lovely clean comfortable rooms. The bath plug was missing in my room but once I’d reported it within 5 minutes a new one replaced. The bed was comfortable and the room facilities were great the hotel lobby and bar was very comfy and clean to use. The restaurant was cosy, comfy and clean. The food was great and the breakfast was superb.The staff were absolutely superb. Polite , courteous and professional. Lovely comfortable stay. Would stay again. Thankyou to you all.

I have 4 dogs and it’s very hard to find a hotel or other accommodation that will accepts dogs. This hotel accepted dogs and allowed my 4 dogs to stay. They have a dog treat station that has fresh water for the dogs and treats for them too. The dogs are allowed anywhere in the hotel with you but must be kept on a lead. Dogs are also allowed to eat with you in the restaurant as there are certain tables that have a paw print on meaning that the table is dog friendly. I’m already looking at coming back, we absolutely loved it here. The staff were so lovely and helpful I really recommend this hotel.
