5☆ accommodation just what we wanted and love the roll-top bath in the living space. Complimentary toiletries (& dressing gowns & slippers which we didn't use) are included as was a carton of milk which unfortunately we could not drink as we are plantbased dairy only. But this place was ideal for our needs and a good size accommodation so not just a tiny room but the equivalent of 2 rooms so ideal for longer stays. The fridge, dining table & armchair were great additions too. Sam & Bob are lovely people, very helpful & friendly. Everything was perfect thanx guys 😉👌🏼

The only issues we found was intermittent WiFi which is now in the process of being sorted and parking - there were no spaces in this road to park but we were able to park in Lytham Road for upto 60 mins to load/unload. Luckily I knew somewhere across town to park during our stay and to get the tram back to the hotel etc. This is not me complaining I only mention this to help other future guests because this Hotel is a beautiful comfortable and clean place run by very lovely people I most definitely do recommend this hotel and hosts 🙏🏼

Great location just off the prom. Sam and Bob were lovely hosts. The deluxe double (room 6) is a lovely spacious room with a sea view from the bay window. It has a seating/dining area and a large double bed. Room included a fridge that was stocked with bottled water, fresh orange juice and a carton of semi skimmed milk. Tea, coffee and biscuits were also on the tray. Plates and cutlery were also provided if you wanted to bring food to your room. A fan was provided as well which was very welcome in the hot weather. It was very quiet which is always a bonus. As a regular visitor to Blackpool, I have a handful of favourite hotels to stay at, The Oxfordshire will certainly be in my top 3.

The mattress was way too firm for me but that is just a personal preference. Parking was a nightmare with it being the airshow but there wasn't anything that would put me off staying here again.

We have stayed here on numerous occasions fab little hotel in blackpool, hotel very clean and smells beautiful, beds comfortable, has had some refurbishment since we last visited which has only enhanced the place, Sam the owner very friendly and nothing too much trouble, close to the sea front but far enough not to hear all the noise central location short walk to the Blackpool tower or you can hop on the tram they are around every 15 mins, we couldn't get this hotel last year as no availability so booked another one absolute disaster that was not a patch on this hotel and not much difference in price, definitely look at reviews for the hotel will definitely keep returning to the Oxfordshire

Nothing not to like

Clean, comfortable, friendly. Plenty of places nearby offering great value for breakfast. Location wise, it's only a two minute walk from St. Chad's tram stop, ideal for getting around. We stayed in a downstairs room and, although this was directly on the street front, there were no noise issues and there's also reflective material on the windows to stop people from looking in. Would definitely stay again.

Sam and Bob are so friendly, messaged them late at night for towels and, Bob had delivered it to us despite the cheeky late hour!! We didnt know that the pride parade was on we had visited, they were thoughtful to let us know. We really enjoyed ourselves. The room itself was clean, tidy and, the hallways had a flair of their own. Nice old newspaper clippings and, personal touches to give the hotel a homely feel. I would love to come back here again :). The chalkboard is a nice touch to write messages on, it had been a while since I had used a chalkboard! The neighbourhood seemed like everybody knew each other.. Everyone was smiling and chatting away. Got blasted by the thunderstorm but managed to get in just before it hit harder! It was such a good getaway trip from gloomy London !!! We miss you guys already!

Water pressure for the shower needs to be a tad bit stronger but that's just my preference. This is in no way a bad thing.

Thank you for having us stay with you for 5 nights we had such a fantastic stay the apartment was beautiful and the owners made us feel so so welcome witch is always a bonus. I'm so sorry we had to leave so early my wife became poorly so we didnt get to say bye.hope you enjoyed your gifts we left for you Regards marc. Fantastic host, welcomed us in and showed us to out room explained everything about the hotel to us. Great sized room with big TV, robes, slippers shower gels and got drink making facilities. Hotel is situated in an excellent location pretty much in-between the tower and the pleasure beach with a tram stop nearby if you don't fancy walking. We come to Blackpool around the same time for a few nights every year and this will be the hotel we will look at first going forward.

It was clean and very friendly and accommodating staff. Close to everything. Taxi was available. Newly updated everything. Modern and sleek bathroom. New and clean beds. Dressing gowns available. Free gifts for guests. Coffee provided with cups. Cable TV. Non-smoking. Blankets and pillows. Fan was provided and needed. Thank you.

No parking available for personal vehicle. Keyhole in the door is able to see through. Bathroom shower has no curtain, water gets on the floor. Fridge a bit small.

We booked this stay last minute and we were over the moon we found this place. The hotel entrance was very welcoming and homely. The room we stayed in (11 I think) was spotlessly clean, smelled amazing and stylishly furnished. The owner was welcoming and lovely when showed us to our room. There was a table and chairs offset through an arch away from the bed where we could have breakfast, which had cereal and wrapped croissant items kindly included. There was a small fridge with milk, orange juice and water in. These touches made the room stand out from places we’ve stayed previously. The bathroom was modern and clean. Dressing gown and slippers provided to use when we stayed. This was a luxury experience. Thank you for a great stay.

Nothing I disliked.

Great location near to the south and central piers, 20 mins walk from pleasure beach. It’s exactly what we needed for two nights away. Staff were really friendly but also left us to it which was perfect for us. Clean room, comfy bed and nice new bathroom. Small but perfect for a short stay.

WiFi was slightly patchy and I wish there was proper parking but both of those things are out of your control!
