Great location. Single room upgraded to a very comfortable double. Large medium firm bed with clean linen provided a good nights sleep. Ambient temperature controllable and duvet light but warm. Usual tea/coffee facilities and plenty of electrical sockets. Spacious ensuite, powerful shower and plenty of hot water but no heating in bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking on hotel grounds and convenient location for both Bournemouth and Poole. Very good value two night deal.

The bathroom had no heating and was always cold. There was no shaver socket. Breakfast very limited and the pre-order system didn't work very well.

Excellent stay, staff very friendly and rooms are perfect and super clean. Hotel provides instructions if arriving past 9pm when the check in desk closes. The bathrooms are seperate from each rooms but theyre private (just for you) and not far from the room so you get used to it.

Minor issues but in my room (room 21) the plug socket on the left was dodgy so was on and off when trying to charge my phone and the cable antennae had fallen out the wall socket for the TV and wouldnt screw back in. Also the far back bed light wouldnt turn on (thinking a finished bulb?). Hopefully these issues arent there for long as theyre quick fixes. Room otherwise was perfect!

A clean and quiet place which made for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was excellent (we had the light breakfast) and the eggs were very good. No evening meal but you could bring in food from outside and eat in the lounge (can recommend Miso Rice Bar nearby). Only a short walk from the hotel down to the beach, via the west zig zag, only about 10 minutes and the closest stretch of beach was slightly less busy than the area by the pier.

The WiFi was so slow! Had difficulty connecting both in our room and in the lounge, which could be a bit frustrating as the signal for mobile data was also weak.

Hotel was very clean. Staff member on arrival was very polite. Room was small and clean but suitable for just getting my head down for the night. Bed was comfortable and pillows were decent too. Close to the beach but also restaurants, bars and shops. Good CCTV coverage and felt like a safe area. Parking right outside too. Bathroom was sepeeate to the bedroom but it was key entry for my room only which was good. I didn't use the kettle but it was good to have the ability to have a hot drink should I have wanted one.

Took a few trips to the bathroom to feel comfortable crossing the hallway to use the toilet and shower. Shower drainage was slow which meant the shower tray filled up really quickly. Blind in the bedroom was away from the window which meant it leaked a lot of light in the room and I was awake just after 5 thinking it was a lot later. Only a fee small things but generally a really good stay.

Very nice hotel, impeccable and comfortable, great staff always eager to help out. Located fairly close to city center, 10-15 minute walk to the Bournemouth Pier. Highly recommended, and even more for families

The only thing I would improve is the information about parking: it is advertised as a free parking but once you are there seems like a payment of 10£/day has to be made (at the end we got there by train, so I cannot confirm if it was an old policy or not, forgot to ask about that before checking out).

Hotel was spotless and deco was really nice..host was very friendly and all staff. couldnt do enough for you i had the continental breakfast which was nice cearal/toast and scrambled egg tea or coffee and juice that was 7.50 my partner have the full English with toast tea and juice at 12.50 mine was really nice and my partner said his was spot on to.. would be nice to visit in the summer months as they have a lovely garden and furniture for outside relaxing. Also free parking and could park there fire check in will be back 👌

Bed was a little hard but that's my own preference had a few issue with the shower first night but that was resolved very quickly. Location was about 10 minutes to the sea front and then about the same to town centre nothing around hotel that I could see for a night out so had to walk to town centre plenty of bar and restaurant to choose from

The hotel was beautifully decorated and very clean throughout. The room was lovely. The bed was very comfy. The lady on reception was welcoming, friendly and helpful. We went away for my partner's birthday and I asked if they could do something little to make it special. They offered to do a lovely gesture and he was very impressed so thank you for going the extra mile. And a special thank you to the little helpers upon check out, thank you for making us smile. You were amazing. We will definitely be back in the future :)

We only slept there as we were catching the early Poole ferry to France. Extremely comfortable beds - joined into a 6 foot superking. The room was very warm and comfortable, as was the shower room. Carpets were new, but some of the furniture was very tired and needs replacing. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. Plenty of toilet rolls in the shower room and good water pressure with plentiful hot water. We parked on site right next to the entrance (lucky) and had a ground floor room which was easily accessible.

My family and parents had an excellent 2-night stay at Applewood Hotel for my daughter's graduation. The owners and staff (especially Huyen who was lovely and incredibly helpful and kind) are extremely welcoming and really want to make sure that their guests are happy and comfortable. The rooms (Triple, Standard doubles) were spacious, very clean, and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast at the hotel. Huyen made sure we had everything we needed and made delicious scrambled eggs! You really get a warm, family feel at this hotel. The hotel is very well-located, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Bournemouth. We'd definitely go back with pleasure!
