The dinner meals at the restaurant was very well presented and tasty. The sheets and towels were very clean (no stain marks as sometimes found in the hotels). Staff were helpful We loved the connecting room (with bunk bed for the kids) and two bathrooms. Within walking distance to the beach. Shower pressure very good at the spa The breakfast lady was pleasant and kind.

Swimming pool could a bit more kid friendly. My 2 year old could not reach the bottom with his feet and I had to hold him in the pool. Could be a buggy and disabled easy access to the building. Had to carry the buggy with the kids up the building. The lift was too narrow with the double stroller. But the staff kindly allowed to use their storage room where we could leave the stroller over night.

Room was awesome.. breakfast was excellent. Staff was so kind. I Like the windows bcz it was proper lighting. Room was so clean n so many towels i wil definitely come back again just need to improve little bit more in timming plz

They give u room at 3pm which is not fair it should be 1-2pm. Checkout time should be 12pm. 10am is so early people need to have breakfast which is till 10.30 then how can be checkout time is 10am If customer request for 1hr early they ask for extra n also parking price. They charge u for parking also which is not fair and also price was little bit up.

I had a compact double. This was a perfect room for me, one person. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was a good size with a good, hot powerful shower, which in a cold day was particularly appreciated. Loved that I was able to control the temperature in my room on an individual basis. All the staff were very friendly, though there was one lady at reception who looked a bit fed up, as if we were bothering her to ask for towels for the pool. Lovely pool with only one other person in there- would not have been big enough if more than the two small groups of 2/3 who were there. Lovely breakfast. Hot, fresh and plentiful.

I came in September too and the VERY noticeable issue on both occasions, in the room and pool area, was the size of the towels. They are tiny. They did not even fit around my very slim daughter. They were MUCH TOO SMALL! I mentioned this last time. There is a bath towel per person so you could not even use two each per use. All the people in both parties I stayed with on both occasions pointed out this issue. The quality is good and this stay they were very soft (last time they were a bit scratchy but OK) but just too small. This really needs addressing ASAP as it is the only mar on our stay but is a significant one. In these colder months one really does need a big enough towel to retain one's body heat.

Easy check in. Good location to town and beach. Spacious room. Good variety of breakfast.

The parking is atrocious. If you buy a permit for £15 and leave the car park it’s not guaranteed to have a space on return, this needs addressing urgently.

The staff were fantastic, very friendly and always happy to help. The food was exceptional, way better than expected. The Spa facilities were really nice, once again the staff were friendly and provided high quality service. The pool was salt water I believe but was really nice to relax in of an evening with a steam room to relax at the end of a busy day. Overall a very enjoyable stay. 10/10 absolutely deserved. The only negative thing I could say about our stay at the Durley Dean hotel is that our sink was partially blocked during our stay causing the water to drain from the sink very slowly.

Location was good walking distance to everything. Staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was spacious & very clean. I booked a superior double which very comfortable

I had booked a spa day for me & my friend (my friends Christmas present) through Dreamtree site. We were very disappointed to find that there was nowhere to sit & relax. The pool got very noisy. So we left there but unfortunately the only place we could find to sit was the waiting area for the beauty treatment which were only normal chairs so not relaxing. The treatments & the 2 course lunch with prosecco were excellent. As a spa day very lacking. We did get told we could of gone up to the bar & relaxed on the sofas not my idea of a relaxing spa day. To me there should be a special room for people to relax in with tranquil music & proper sitting to relax on

The location was great and staff friendly. On arrival we found a toenail and a bit of rubbish on the floor in our room but the cleaning team came straight away and we're very apologetic

However, I was not happy I had to pay £15 a night for parking and my dog which we were not informed about until I had booked. We booked through booking .com and usually this is all included in the price so we were not happy when we received the emails saying we had to pay extra for both. Also, the fact that your parking space is not guaranteed is also a disgrace as there is very limited parking around and you could end up paying twice for parking .

Very Friendly and helpful staff. Thanks Holly and team. Sharon in the dining room was very attentive and helpful in organising a tray to our room when my wife couldn't get down for breakfast. My wife also enjoyed a massage spa treatment whilst at the hotel.

Swimming pool was a bit on the small side! Steam room was out of action and the sauna wasn't very hot. Where was the bucket of water to spoon onto the hot coals? Car parking fee which we decided not to pay as if you went out they couldn't guarantee you a space on your return!!! Greedy car parking company separate to the hotel!!

The breakfast was excellent - all very well cooked and prepared. The pool and steam room were such a pleasure, we really enjoyed the facilities, great shower and changing facilities. The location is amazing, we were so happy to be so close to the beach. The staff were all very attentive and welcoming - both at the front desk and in the breakfast room. The room was good for one night for the four of us, temperature was good, access to a/c and windows opened nicely for fresh air too. Bed was comfy and pillows were lovely.

The towels were quite crisp and the water in the taps was luke warm - so we bought water to drink as it was no good to drink.

Hotel is dog friendly so was perfect for our visit and the location was very close to the dog friendly section of Bournemouth beach during peak season. Room was on the third floor and had pleasant interiors and views. Pool and sauna was a bonus - it was quite loud with kids but it was school holidays. Breakfast was good.

Better signage for the swimming pool needed, a bit of a labyrinth in the leisure areas. Parking is a struggle but we managed to get spots on the streets nearby. The biggest issue was the shower in room 308 being so small it was a little claustrophobic and hard to use. Otherwise the room was lovely.
