The room was cosy and comfortable very silent so I had possibility to rest a lot . Housekeepers were all available to give me whatever I needed and staff was friendly and very helpful Breakfast was good too Hotel is very central but on a slope I got mobility problems so I had to travel every day by taxi I walk with a stick but there two bus stops going to city center and opposite one stop with buses going to several destinations and Swanage Hotel is step free and has got a lift There is a covered swimming pool for leisure There are two smoking aereas

For sure Hotel s guests I live in London City centre and people are extremely friendly and kind .All guests of this Hotel didn't even say Good Morning or Good Evening I found this extremely rude

The location is just brilliant, close to the beach and town, restaurants, and clubs. Staff is lovely, very helpful. Breakfast is not much choice, but well cooked and tastes good, coffee is really nice. Rooms have very old furniture, but we didn't mind. The room itself is very spacious, plenty of light, beds very comfortable, everything is clean and tidy. Sadly we vere very busy and we didn't use the swimming pool. We'll be back again, I will recommend it to anyone. If you like a bit of fun, go to Vinyl Club (Cameo), only about 15 minutes walk. Also, the car park is great, or you can easily find a few more on the way down the hill - 1-2 minutes drive, 5 minutes walk.

The view from our bedroom is bins and old mattresses. The lift is not great for claustrophobic people, but it worked well.

The reception was nicely decorated with lightts and a christmas tree. The room was spacious, clean and tidy. There was plenty of coffee, tea, sugar and milk packages, all organised neatly. Lovely view, could see some of the Christmas lights at Christmas tree wonderland as well as the sea. The windows kept the noise of the traffic and people out. The bathroom was clean and tidy, with plenty of towels, aswel as complimentary soap and showergel/shampoo. The decor is very dated, but my kids liked the pattern carpet and wallpaper.

The room could of done with more than 4 hangers and/or some coat hooks to hang up our wet coats and jumpers. The decor could use some updating as was damaged in places and very outdated.

My room and my stay was great! I left my luggage prior to check in and after checking out at no extra cost, as I went out to the beach, pier, zip line and attractions that were only a short walk away. The staff and food were very nice, and the bed was one of the most comfortable that I’d ever slept in, thank you. I loved breakfast time, as also staying was an acapella group, who sang what seemed like a 12 part harmony version of ‘happy birthday’ 🎈 Thank you for a wonderful time in Bournemouth 😊

Only that I didn’t have enough time to use the pool, jacuzzi and sauna 😊

The staff were exceptional, they were polite, smart and friendly. Nothing was a problem, they were not overbearing and would give us recommendations of places to eat. They staff really made the hotel and are a credit to the Tourville. Oh and the breakfast was AMAZING and our dogs were really catered. Even to the location chosen for our Room perfect. Beds firm and comfortable and pillows were supportive

The Room was just old and needed up dating wallpaper pealing, carpet stained, and it was a very hot night the windows didn't open (I understand it's due to health and safety sanders). Lampshades broken, no hotel h&s or information. No life guard awful smell on end, most of equipment wasn't working. But only one other couple in the pool, my autistic child felt comfortable:NHS

We were in Bournemouth for the weekend with our dog and needed a dog friendly hotel. The Trouville was perfect. Great location & very good value for money with breakfast included. We did not have any other meals there but breakfast was good. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful weekend on the beach with the dog and will definitely be back.

There was nothing that we did not like. I have read some very scathing reviews about the property and I believe that some people just expect far too much. This is a 3* property not the Ritz and the stay is priced accordingly. The property is a little tired and is being renovated in stages.

If youre expecting the Hilton hotel experience, then go else where. This hotel isn’t for the those are wanting caviar. The whole team at the Trouville hotel were amazing. Great staff, very helpful, and over all they’re just fantastic people. Very down to earth, I couldn’t have found a better place. Don’t expect the latest trend, this property has more of a homely atmosphere and aesthetics, opposed to show rooms appeal. A great place to accommodate pets too, I booked a premium small double room for me and my dog. At the check-in, they noticed the size of the dog ( a bulky build), which they took into consideration offering me a larger, standard double sized room at the same cost. Which I happily accepted. Free car-parking on site to those who go through the hotels own website (if you use booking.com as I did on my first arrival, you’ll have to pay £12 ) with generous space to park, it was hassle free. Location is great too.. on a quiet road, but not isolated. (Only real things I could hear at night were the bloody seagulls). Walk out left from the building, and you’re 10 minutes away from the main sea front ferris wheel and attractions bars clubs. Turn right, and there is a local nisa 5 minutes away, along with various bars, that have a chilled out vibe. Cross the road and down a path, 7-12 minutes and you’re by sea front, with a great open space to take your dog for a run. Hands down, I’ll be coming back again sometime. Everyone was profession, well presented without the corporate touch. If this wasn’t a business, you’d mistake it for a family home. In fact, it’s not a hotel. It’s a home.

The minor down fall I could consider is walking to your room at night time can be a challenge. Squeaky floor here and there down the hall way. However it is 3 old Victorian houses combined into one, and with wooden floors, (probably original) beneath the carpet, you’re bound to find a creak here or there. If you can’t deal with that, I believe you’re expecting too much in life.

Lovely old hotel with a pool. Staff friendly and always spoke to you in a good manor even the cleaning staff were polite. We enjoyed the stay as it was close to beach and town centre. Don't know why some people moan about this hotel and its fixtures and fittings and the look of it. The hotel is 150 years old furniture fixtures and fitting are in keeping with hotel you cant really modernize a hotel that much that was first built 150 years ago but could do with a nick of paint here and there.

The lift still not working since our last stay but not a big deal

The room was lovely, decent sized and had the space required for travel cot and you could still move around. The family room had a bath which was perfect so I could bath the children with ease The swimming pool was an added bonus and my children (9 and 8 months) loved having a splash around before bed. Towels provided was a lovely addition to that. The mattress was comfortable and the fact you could open the window if needed was great.

The breakfast personally I found was a little overpriced for what was on offer, I expected a little more

lovely place, well located, comfy bed with nice pillows, swimming pool medium size but perfect for a refreshing dip.

Sauna was not working, there was a fan in my room but it did not work properly cause is too old, i missed a small fridge for my drinks there considering the room got enough space for it. We came 1 hour early before 3pm check in because our room was ready and after 20 minutes there someone tryed to get in the room without knocking the door to check if everything was ok with cleaning the problem was we were changing clothes almost naked fortunately the door was locked. just be careful guys
