The location was super easy to find and even though we arrived late on a Sunday evening, Dick gave us a lovely welcome. After a mini tour of reception, facilities, breakfast and our room Dick made some recommendations for food which were really appreciated as it had been a long drive. Our room had a separate dining/sitting room with fridge freezer and overhead lighting with heater, which was where we spent our evenings just reading, chatting and drinking wine. We headed out for food and thanks to the heated eating space, as well as the use of cutlery and crockery, we headed back and had a lovely relaxing couple of hours. The bed was super comfy, and shower room clean and well maintained. We stayed for 2 nights and as the first evening was so relaxing, be took food back for a second, too. This saved us money from eating in restaurants (though we'll be back to sample some!) and accidental spills in the car! We've had some stressful months lately and these 2 super relaxed evenings made a huge difference to our wellbeing. We couldn't have experienced that without the facilities provided. Breakfasts were great, too! A couple of hours after leaving I received a call to say I'd left my jacket behind. Thankfully we were only a few miles away visiting relatives, so popped back to recover. Jane's concern was hoping we'd not gone too far, knowing we lived 4 hours away - that was really kind. If we're visiting relatives in the area again, we'll definitely return. Only being able to stay for 2 nights was a big shame - a week would have been much better. Book and stay for as long as you can, you'll love it! The local area has lots to discover, we hope to return and have more adventures.

We have stayed at Widbrook Barns several times.  Widbrook Barns is brilliant. The complex is very well maintained and spacious. The accommodation has a very high level of comfort, it has been lovingly furnished, the bathroom is modern and everything is available. The breakfast is very good and all wishes of the guests are fulfilled. In addition, Dick and his wife Jane are very loving and helpful hosts. I had health problems and Dick had driven me to the pharmacy and the doctor. I was very happy about that and very thankful. All in all we can recommend the Widbrook Barns to 100 percent. We stayed at Widbrook Barns for 2 nights in "The Lion". What a beautifully located place. Quiet and peaceful with lovely gardens and seating area just outside our room. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. It's tastefully decorated with quality furniture and bedlinen.The bathroom is huge! A big walk in shower, heated towel rail and big fluffy towels. Tea and coffee making facilities are included. We were met by the owner who gave us a fantastic welcome and explained the door lock and velux window blinds. Breakfast was excellent. We both had full English breakfasts although there are lots of variations available. Widbrook Barns are close to the centre of Bradford on Avon which has lots of charm and good eateries as well as the canal which is lovely for a walk. If you're looking for clean, comfortable accommodation in a quiet location then look no further. Widbrook Barns is ideal. Highly recommended and a 5 star stay. Thank you team.

Not really a "dislike" but it would've been nice to be able to open the velux windows for some fresh air at night.

Room was accessible, breakfast was delicious, location was great - just a few minutes walk along a pavemented road to the beginning of a pretty (and accessible!) canal side walk into town (and even further, if you fancy a day trip). Despite being by a main road, the place is green and quiet. Staff were very helpful and arranged for me to have my breakfast outside when I requested it. Finding a place that's in the countryside and accessible both by public transport and by wheelchair is difficult, but this place was great.

The pathway into the property is gravel, which can be difficult to navigate in a wheelchair. Mostly it was flattened down enough not to be an issue, but there were a couple deeper bits, especially by the code panel to open the gate to get out - I could walk over to use it, but if that's not possible for you you may need to ask the owner to lay down a mat or something.

Reception, welcome excellent, friendly, helpful, relaxed. The Wardrobe barn room was very comfortable, clean, warm. Amazing bathroom with a wonderful shower. Breakfast? whoa, could have 2. In spring, summer time the reception area would be perfect. Great location for walks on the Kennet/Avon and easy access to BoA and Bath

It is not a 'didn't like'. The common kitchen room could be better signed (unless I missed it), not a problem but useful in spring/summer time. Access to Bath advise about Park & Ride Odd Down

The room was all that was promised when we booked. Very clean and warm enough. The staff was very friendly. The location pretty nice, it sure will be better in warmer months as it has a fantastic yard that one can exploit. Breakfast was a nice surprise and an additional bonus.

The room we stayed seemed to be part of a bigger and interconnected room There was a not very solid door separating it from the next room and hence a lack of privacy feeling as there were people in the next room as well.

Really nice friendly staff, lovely barn rooms. A very unique quirky feel to the grounds set in nice surroundings. We were at a family wedding at Widbrook Grange, so this was an ideal place to stay, as a walking distance to this venue. Travel time 2.5 hrs from staffordshire midlands area. The breakfast room and Barns had story book memorabilia which was a nice idea...not so sure about being in The Witch barn ...from "Lion, Witch, Wardrobe" 😂 The grounds were relaxing and very secure too with key coded gate access. The Barns had code entry too save risk of taking losing keys...very good idea.. Facilities within room good with hairdryer, clean towels, nice hot shower, coffee, tea making. The beds were really comfy too.

I would visit here again, nothing I can say didn't like.👍🙂

Got the Billy Bunter room which is a single. Great comfy bed quite generous for a single. Room was spotless, everything there coffee tea shoer gel hairdryer etc.. I'd love to come here in warmer weather. Its in a lovely place near to Bradford marina and a pub/restaurant. The room had an annexe with a heater and extra space....with a fridge. I'll have to come back in spring with the wife.

Nothing really. Everything worked and the owner was wonderful.

We were welcomed by the owner Dick. A very interesting character who showed us to our room and explained everything. The barn conversion rooms were quirky and themed throughout. We were in Famous Five. We enjoyed our walk along the canal towpath to the centre of town. Breakfast was also a great success, cooked by Dick's own fair hand.

We didn't realize that most local pubs and restos are closed on Monday/ Tuesday. However the establishment provides plates, glasses etc microwave if you felt like doing some self catering. Good to know.

Everything! It was beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Rooms exceeded our expectations and were spotless. Comfortable beds and rooms had absolutely everything we needed. We had three rooms between our party and each of them were amazing. Loved the rooms with outdoor/indoor social spaces and board games included. Dick and Jane are just the loveliest hosts possible, so warm, friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was perfect and served with a smile. Can’t wait to come back and stay again!
