The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and were allowed to check in early. The room was clean and comfortable, and the facilities were great. The room also had a big fan, which was great as the weather was very warm when we arrived. The breakfast was good, and it was nice to see some vegan/dairy free options on offer without having to request (soya yogurt, etc). The food was wholesome and high quality. The location was great, right on the seafront but quiet. It's about a 15-minute walk to Brighton pier, but there were plenty of restaurants nearby.

Our room was at the top of the building, about 4 flights of stairs with no lift. This was detailed in the description, but just to be aware that the building is not very accessible unfortunately. Our room was pretty basic but comfortable.

Great location, wonderful staff, beautiful breakfast area with fresh breakfast that was presented perfectly. It felt really warm and welcoming and they even had croissants to grab on the way back from a long day which was a pleasant surprise! The singles room was actually more spacious than I was expecting. I will be missing this place and would definitely recommend a friend to stay here on a visit to Brighton!

The shower was small, as expected. The water in the shower was running a little slow and it wasn’t possible to get the water warmer than 38 degrees. It didn’t bother me too much so overall I give my stay a 10/10!

I found Brighton House to be a tidy, smart B&B and it was very well located for the purpose of my visit (Brighton Pride). There were ample places to eat and drink of every description nearby, and various other attractions in close proximity (the i360 is literally on the other side of the road, although I didn't go). On the first night I didn't sleep very well, but that was down to a combination of seagulls and a few late night pre-Pride revellers and I failed to avail myself of the complimentary ear plugs. I was fine the next two nights. My room was a single, and the en suite bathroom was a little snug but the facilities were quite sufficient for someone spending the vast majority of their time outside (even in the rain). The decor of the room was unobstrusive and pretty modern but the communal spaces had a smart old character about them and appeared well tended with some interesting nautical and local ornamentation. The continental breakfast spread was well stocked every day with ample choice of cereals, bread, yogurts, fruit meat and juices with fresh tea, coffee and toast for the asking. I felt the breakfast serving times (07:30 to 10:00 weekdays, 08:30 to 11:00 weekends) were quite generous. All staff I met were courteous, attentive and had good local knowledge.

I was overall very happy with my stay but a larger bed would have been a little more comfortable for me as I am quite tall. As a cautionary note rather than an outright critique, the B&B is quite a narrow property and several stories high. While I don't mind stairs in the slightest, someone with more mobility issues might wish to contact them specifically to discuss the most accessible rooms (I don't think there was a lift). When speaking to friends about my plans, I characterised the B&B as appearing to have the last merely expensive rather than extortionate room in Brighton at the time I was looking for lodgings - which reflects my feeling on the pricing. I knew I was paying for the time of year, and I could have paid a lot more, but it was not a bargain.

The staff at the Bed and Breakfast were extremely courteous and friendly. They were attentive at breakfast and were keen to make my stay pleasant. The staff were also very helpful with information regarding the Brighton and they were able to book me a taxi in order for me to attend a job interview. The bedroom was basic, clean and comfortable. The negative is that due to the warm weather I kept the window open to allow fresh air in to the room. There was a lot of exterior noise which meant i didn’t get as much sleep as I would have liked. The bathroom and the shower were good, however very small. For the attentiveness of the staff, the lovely breakfast and central location of the Bed and Breakfast I felt that it was good value for money.

Great location that is close to the main part of Brighton abd walking distance to all the main attractions. The next street over also has a great selection of restaurants and bars if you don't feel like venturing into the centre of town. The facilities are clean, extremely well maintained with a great selection at breakfast and really friendly staff. Decent wifi and a very comfy bed. No hesitation in recommending Brighton House!

There are quite a few stairs especially if you are located in one of the rooms towards the top, it might not suit someone with mobility issues as there is no lift but did not bother us. Shower was quite cosy but water pressure and temperature good.

The location was great. It was easy to walk to the lanes and the seafront and not even too far from Hive to walk it. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Carl. The breakfast offerings were very good and had something for everybody. The croissants were outstanding! There was plentiful hot water in the shower once you’d let it run for a couple of minutes.

The rooms are very small and the shower cubicles very very small. The amount of stairs became a bit of a drag. The TV reception for BBC was very poor and kept pixelating which is annoying when all you want to do is quickly check the news! Nescafé coffee in the rooms 🤮

A great little guest house where the staff go out of there way to help you. We was there for the London to Brighton bike ride on tge Sunday we came down on the Friday to drop our van of and they allowed us to leave our bags with them until the Sunday. On the Sunday of the ride we got there before our rooms were ready and they let us store our bikes in there courtyard whilst we went and grabbed a well deserved pint or 2. Our rooms were ready earlier than the usual time so they allowed us to check in. The rooms were comfortable everything was good. Will definitely be booking for next year.

The staff were lovely: very friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to make our stay a real pleasure. The continental breakfast was superb and the location was ideal. Our rooms on the top floor were a bit of a climb after spending each day exploring Brighton, but we knew this in advance and accept that this is part of the charm of staying in a lovely period property. The selection of complimentary croissants and homemade cakes or cookies available every evening helped to fuel our ascent! The budget single rooms were compact but very well equipped and spotlessly clean. For the price we paid I think the stay was exceptionally good value and I'm looking forward to a return visit in the future.

Lovely room, very clean and comfortable in a beautiful old building. It's located just across the street from the seafront and i360 which is amazing. Very central and many shops and restaurants are nearby. The gentleman from reception was very kind and took my luggage upstairs to my room. The ladies who prepare breakfast were also very helpful.

No lift, good exercise up and down the stairs if your room is on a higher floor. This is more to do with parking than the actual property. A bit difficult to find a free space as always busy. A large private underground for 24 hours parking is located just in front of the building which was very convenient but on the expensive side as it's in central Brighton.

I loved the location, right in front of the i360 and beach. The property is in great condition, looked after and is modern, clean and quiet. A real gem! Breakfast was lovely and generous with lots of options. They even place croissants and freshly baked organic cookies during the day and evening in the hallway to provide their guests with an extra bit of care. Very very thoughtful! I had the nicest check in experience with Carl and can only say how attentive he is. I will definitely return and am in Brighton regularly. I’ve tried quite a few hotels here and this stands out in terms of service, quietness and fabulous location.

Nothing at all.
