The Beach Hotel in Brighton is an extremely good family friendly hotel. We felt very safe staying in this hotel. The hotel staff were all very courteous, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with an excellent sea view, large comfy beds and very clean bathroom. The Breakfast Room was clean with friendly staff and an excellent choice of food. During the night the hotel was very peaceful with no unwanted noises to disturb our sleep. All round it's an excellent hotel in every respect. We will definitely stay at this hotel again next time we are in Brighton.
Nothing - The Beach Hotel, Brighton is an excellent hotel in every respect.

Fantastic location. Lovely views of the sea big room.breakfast included. Staff all friendly. This was our 5th stay.alot of same staff.
All ok. Bedroom newly decorated. Large bed, head board dosnt sit square with bed. Bathroom mix match of tiles, tops of taps missing. Trouser press, not that we wanted it behind tv. Two mobile heaters in room but behind chairs. Two luggage stands folded but no where to utilise them!!! No control to turn radiater off. Still thunk great value for money

The position of the hotel was right on the money for us, just a hundred metres away from the i360 which we were due to visit. The Regency restaurant, adjacent to the hotel served excellent food too. We were informed that the hotel and restaurant are owned by the same group. From the room bedroom window we could see the i360 and sea beyond. Just the ticket. The bed was an enormous queen size bed and very comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. Tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and toiletries all available with extra bedding if required. An iron and ironing board are also available. The breakfast was superb and an excellent choice offered. We have already recommended to others and will definitely stay again.
The bathroom was very narrow and a little tired. The bedroom furniture was also a little tired and rickety, but we could live with that, for the rate we paid. Although breakfast was plentiful and well presented, the timing of serving it up was too quick. We were still consuming our cereal when the plates of breakfast and toast was delivered. The very pleasant and friendly staff should have just waited for us to finish our cereal and asked if we were ready for the cooked breakfast. It's just a timing thing, nothing else.

Excellent breakfast. Choice of yogurt and cereal from buffet plus some fresh fruit. Service was great. Excellent value as breakfast for our stay was complementary. Although our room was a little dated (brown furniture). The bed super comfortable
Bathroom in our room was very small. May benefit from full bath being removed, in favour of shower cubicle. Also, because the kettle for tea & coffee in room, was full sized, it didn't fit under hand basin tap.I had to lean over the bath, which was really awkward, as only about 40cm between bath and the wall.

Friendly staff, especially at breakfast. Good location close to car parking, Brighton Centre and Preston Street (for restaurants and bars). View of seafront and sea. Lift stopped just outside our room. Provision of tea/coffee/milk/sugar in room was so generous that I didn't have to ask for extra, which is so unusual. Easy to regulate room temperature by opening/closing window. Clean. At least 6 plug sockets in room. Fan and hair dryer supplied. Nice toiletries.
Price of car parking (£25/day weekdays, £34.50/day weekends) was shocking but this is Brighton, and not in control of hotel. Thought tv wasn't working but it had been switched off by cleaning staff. Found having to return room key every time we left hotel a little strange, but desk staffed 24/7 so didn't cause us any problems. Bed a little high.

Well where to start . The beach hotel experience was fantastic . Contrary to other people's reviews The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable the view from the large bay window was superb with great views of the sea and surrounding area. All attractions are within walking distance .And the beach is literally across the road. The decor is in keeping with the Hotel as it is an old regency hotel with obvious signs of wear and tear, but does not reflect your stay by any means. The staff were friendly and they answered any questions and attended to our holiday needs, you had clean towels every day and plenty of tea and coffee in the room. . We asked for an iron and ironing board that we kept for the whole week The bathroom was perfect, with a nice hot shower . Handing in the key Every time you leave the hotel was not an issue In fact it made life a lot easier, knowing the keys were safe at the front desk and there was always a member of staff there for you to collect the key with ease. The breakfast was the icing on the cake as it was included in the price. Cereal, Orange juice, toast , tea, coffee , and the good old English breakfast. The whole experience was so lovely and for how cheap it is compared to other hotels you get a lot for your money. I would call this hotel a little gem . We would most definitely stay here again and we would highly recommend it to any one of our friends. If you like modern clean lines then this hotel is not for you . If you like a home from home then this hotel is definitely the one.
The only recommendation that we would say is maybe change the lock on the door as it was a bit difficult to lock sometimes. And maybe some hooks so you can hang up wet towels. .

This is a big hotel with a lovely lobby/reception and nice restaurant to have the substantial complementary breakfast, the staff are lovely, helpful and make you feel very welcome. The breakfast is good and prepared fresh each day. We would stay at this hotel again and would recommend to friends & family requiring a cheap break in vibrant Brighton. The hotel is crying out for room and stair case refurbishment and could then make at least 3 stars.
It’s not that we didn’t like it’s just the rooms and stair cases are very tired, but the rooms are clean big and have all amenities. The lift is extremely unique and possibly part of the original building, very small in deed but does its job. The windows are evidently old, hence not much soundproof in place, we stayed during a very windy period and this could be heard throughout the night. If you require Wi-Fi , this is only available in the lobby and restaurant area. This is as it says a 2 star hotel in a very good location. The friendly staff make this hotel a nice place to say.

This the the best hotel in Brighton by far In it's range.this is our second time staying here, there was a cheaper option , but I rather pay £10-15 extra per night (little money) but to stay somewhere that's safe , 24 hour receptionist , very kind and polite staff including the breakfast staff they are all lovely people, best place for families specially. They allowed me to celebrate my daughter's birthday FREE of Charge and singing happy birthday for her and bringing the cake to the table for us. Made my daughter very Happy. Also they upgraded my room, again, free of charge to a room with a balcony that made our holiday even better. Waking up to the beautiful beach right in front of you. I Highly recommend this hotel in every way. No noise , no loud groups to disturb your sleep within the hotel unlike other hotels there. The place is very Clean throughout the hotel including outside of the building. Beds very comfy , rooms very clean , bathroom very clean, don't know what else to say apart from good things. Also it's right next to the main car park 200+ spaces so there's always a space. Right opposite the i36O tower, upside down house , bars and restaurants. The Pier is 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Best part of Brighton , and very good breakfast eat as much as you like , served between 8am and 10am every day with your own pot of tea, coffee or hot chocolate on your table just for you so you don't need to keep getting up. As well as fresh apple and orange juice and all the rest beans eggs bacon mushrooms toast everything. 10 out of 10. Thank you to the beach hotel and all the staff there our stay was perfect , and quick check in with a person you actually deal with and not by typing in codes and sending emails and wasting time just to get your room keys.
Everything was perfect.

Room and location was just fine however the breakfast left room for improvement. The fruit was all canned not fresh, the toast I am not sure but either the bread was poor quality or the toaster was not great. You really couldn't cut the toast you sort of had to drag it to cut a piece in half and only one side was toasted. The hot food wasn't at all appealing to me the scramble eggs were...well I'm not sure quite watery not applealing at all. The meat looked like it had been cooked the night before and steamed just before breakfast at 8. I must say that the staff at breakfast were very nice and helpful.
No internet in your room had to go to the lobby which at best a little unreliable

A nice warm welcome on check in by all staff. Room was absolutely fine with plenty of space and nice views out of the large windows overlooking Regency Square and the sea. The location is excellent on the sea front with restaurants on the door step, Would certainly recommend The Regency Restaurant attached to the front of the hotel which serves fresh fish dishes or a selection of pasta dishes if you prefer. A 10 minute walk to The Lanes where you can enjoy and soak up the busy atmosphere of the shops & pubs. Breakfast was ok ( served tinned fruit which was the same on both days we stayed ) Cooked breakfast is available with cereals if preferred.
The only downside was the parking as the hotel has no parking. Used the Regency Square underground Public Car Park but at £64 for 2 days is expensive but convenient for the hotel itself. Found out later it may be worth exploring the Just Park website as deals are available at other locations including private driveways for shorter stays.
