A very clean hotel with friendly staff. Lovely lobby, clean elevators and hallways. This hotel is superb value for money. Not a single negative thing to remark about the hotel itself honestly. Nice roomy room with a clean bathroom and a nice hot shower. Best bed in 10 years of travelling. All the amenities you would expect and more (coffee, water, wine, biscuits, ... ). Friendly staff who help set up a baby-bed. The carpark-rate is cheaper as a hotel-resident than visitor, this is a plus!

The carpark under the hotel is not a very nice place. smelly elevator, unclear where to park, very busy during the day and not a very nice smell.

It was easy to park, check in & depart. The room was clean & the breakfast was amazing...so much choice. It was great to be so near the sea front & watch the world go by. Even better being able to be seated higher up with a fab view & enjoy breakfast, especially as the sun was shining. The lounge & bar area was comfortable & welcoming & the complimentary bottles of water greatly appreciated. The staff were very friendly & attentive & nothing was too much trouble for them. The addition of an iron & board in the room was handy. Having the hotel near to the shops & restaurants & Lanes was definitely an asset, especially after a day of retail therapy in the many unique shops. All in all, a great getaway & stay in pleasant surroundings.

There were quite a few unruly children running around & making a lot of noise whilst people were eating & relaxing late in the evening. One of the lifts was out of action, so the stairs came in handy, although it was surprising that it was not carpeted. Some people had left bottles outside their rooms & on one occasion there was broken glass on the carpet. There appeared to be a damp smell in one of the corridors. The car park smelt of urine in places though I guess that is difficult to control. The window did not open. A few of the lights didn't work & the coffee machine needed an overhaul & the television needed the cable plugging in as the maintenance guy had to be called as it was not working up until then.

Amazing service from the staff. Concierge Ken was so friendly and helpful and makes us feel welcome each time we visit. On a previous visit the lobby had been cold and we avoided it but this time the difference was amazing as the lobby was warm and friendly with water and fruit available and we spent a lot of time there enjoying the wonderful views. The breakfast was more enjoyable on this visit as it was no longer cold which meant the food stayed warm. The daily servicing of the room was excellent on the first few days and was usually cleaned before we returned from breakfast. The availability of a fridge and water in the room was amazing. The little things mean a lot. The discounted parking was also a major factor. All in all it was an amazing time in the hotel and we booked our next visit for January whilst we were still there as we enjoyed it so much.

Everyone and everything was amazing. We didn’t use the restaurant in the evening though as the menu was quite restricted.

As we entered the hotel reception to check in, we were warmly greeted. The booking was for 2 Executive Sea View Rooms, my room had been upgraded to a suite. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious with bathrooms that fulfilled all your needs. Michele, and the other reception staff, the staff on duty for breakfast and throughout the day and night; were always friendly, helpful and happy to help if there was a query. Breakfast was brilliant, you can have something light to a full English. The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to the pier and other attractions. Choose to relax or be busy; its a great option to have. With various places to eat that will suit all budgets. I and my son enjoyed our stay and would be delighted to return and recommend.

Great Staff…bright + cheerful…welcoming + eager to help in every which way possible…especially with my disability. Lovely room with a great view. I am very familiar with the Leonardo + I chose the hotel for its location + standard of service. There is an issue that disabled people can only use the Pool going via the kitchen + service lift as there’s only a stairway to get there…but once you do get there…the facilities are splendid. Fabulous breakfasts. Looking forward to coming again as soon as my Dr’s will permit!😉

Disappointed our room wasn’t serviced on Monday. On Tuesday, my girl’s 2 picnic acrylic wine glasses were removed by Housekeeping. They’re still missing! The walk in shower is a really scary Health + Safety Concern…much too slippery for disabled people + floods the rest of the en-suite. It also needs a fold up wall seat. Not so good…I tried 70 times over 8 days to speak with someone on extension 5 to explain my requirements…not one call was answered. It took sending an email before I got a response…which in the end…was very satisfactory.

From the start to the end of our stay, the Staff were exeptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is ideally located on the seafront and very close to all local attractions, as well as being very close to the City Centre. We had breakfast included in our costs and this was exceptional, something for everyone and all super-fresh. The Bar facilities for an evening were also very good, clean and resonable prices too. Overall the Hotel was wonderfully clean and totally exceeded our expetations. We will not hesitate to book the same on our return later in the year.

The only very slight negative was the performance of the lifts as we were on the 4th Floor. That having been said this was being addressed as we left.

You couldn't get a better location. We were upgraded to a Sea view, which was an added bonus. The Hotel was clean, the staff were exceptional, nothing was a bother. The room had everything that was required for a stay. There was a wide range to choose from at breakfast and the choice on the Dinner menu was also good. We had a wonderful weeks stay. We'd definitely recommend The Leonardo Hotel

The only thing that we did discuss, was the daily parking charges, however you did get discount through the Hotel, which was better than the original parking charge for the Public

I had a truly wonderful experience at this hotel. The highlight for me was the exceptional breakfast they offered. The restaurant's windows provided breathtaking views that truly enhanced my dining experience. Gazing out at the stunning scenery while enjoying my meals was a memorable and tranquil moment every time. The comfort of the beds was outstanding. After a long day of exploring, sinking into the soft and cozy beds felt like a dream. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout my visit. They went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met and that I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

One major inconvenience was the lack of a regular shower in the family room, which proved to be quite problematic, especially when traveling with a toddler. The rain shower, while stylish, wasn't practical for our needs, and it made bath time for our little one quite challenging. Additionally, although the hotel boasted a swimming pool, the water temperature was surprisingly cool. This made it less enjoyable for both adults and children looking to take a refreshing dip. To add to the inconvenience, there was no place in the room to hang or dry our wet bathing suits. This forced us to resort to using the hair dryer to try and dry our swimwear, which was both time-consuming and less than ideal.

I booked an additional room for a friend, unfortunately it was at their sister hotel near the train station. The reception team tried to find a room at the Waterfront Hotel but were fully booked. They upgraded our room to a suite which was amazing. Breakfast was one of the best we'd had, and we travel a lot. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend.

There was a wedding on the Saturday night which some guests complained about. One guest was shouting at the reception staff which was completely unnecessary and unreasonable. The music stopped at midnight, didn't disturb us. The staff handled it very well. I was at reception ordering our friend a taxi, and witnessed how rude the guest was. Unfortunately you can't please everyone.
