Car park a bit far from the reception / property so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues like me who’s got a bit of back and R leg pain but was not a big issue for me as it was not raining so can walk slowly.

The room was well appointed, and although I didn't use the pool, it looked excellent. Only continental style breakfast was available, but what was available was very good and plentiful. The location was excellent with a lovely garden space.

If its not possible to supply a cooked breakfast, it would have been nice to be able to have an egg which you could boil yourself in a small water bath. I have used this facility abroad, on the continent.

everything was above what we expected , great host , ample parking , great rooms , position ideal and we would definately stay here again and recomend to friends . Did not have time to try the pool but it looked great and the view was excellent.

Very nice hotel. Booked last minute for business in Bristol. Can't fault the place. Good sized car park. Intercom for entry. Once in and walked from car park to hotel manager was there waiting to check me in. Very comfortable Very well equipped. Will consider again if needed.

- After making the booking and picking the hotel based on bonus of pool & spa facilities; received an email a week before saying these weren't available during our stay which was disappointing. Price felt steep considering and could have booked elsewhere cheaper (rectified with a bottle of complimentary wine). - Hotel asked us to arrive in the morning prior to heading off to a wedding, time was agreed but on arrival staff were unaware of this and room wasn't ready, resulted in being placed in a different room that was ready sooner - Breakfast was very continental; although could be improved (cheese was in slabs rather slices, a hot option eg eggs would be beneficial) - Very firm bed, not to everyone's comfort

We were upgraded to the best room available. The staff was very friendly. The hotel definitely has charm and we had the pool for ourselves. They have a gated parking lot which was important since we went there on a motorbike.

I wish breakfast had a bit more selection. We were the only guests there at the time though, so maybe they have more stuff when they have more guests.

Wi-Fi signal is terrible throughout the area, and although much better at the Redhill, there were some moments of no signal.

Loved the security as the hotel is located behind electronic gates. The pool was very clean and looked after, perfect temperature and we had it to ourselves. Gorgeous views with lovely outdoor seating areas. Adorable community of fish in the ponds that were a real treat to relax with and spend time next to. All staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. The room was cleaned to a very high standard and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and just as I like it. Attentive breakfast staff. The Darlington arms is a short walk across the road serving delicious food available in the evening, friendly staff lovely ambience.

The wet room we had in our room, did get soaked around the toilet area when using the shower. So you need to put the mat by the door, to dry your feet to come out. Wet when using the toilet in the night. The bed was firmer than we like - I slept ok but my partner found it a little too firm, there were plenty of cushions available this helped to slightly counteract this.

Thanks for Bailey and her team. They made us feel right at home. They were very accommodating and showed a degree of flexibility by allowing us to use the pool in the morning. Which was a great treat for my two kids under 5. As a B&B is is nice that they are licensed. They also have BBQ facilities and I'm pretty sure they may allow you to use it. The pub across the served tasty food as take away, which we ate in our large room because it is so much more convenient when you arrive fairly late at night. We stopped at the Red House Boutique Hotel on the way back from Cornwall. It is a great idea to break the journey. The additional bed for a toddler was only £15 per night.

ideally located for flights from Bristol Airport great breakfast choices

The driveway down from the road is quite uneven and i wouldn’t recommend walking back from the local pub in the dark … resurfacing would sort this out
