The room was super spacious and the fridge and little picnic basket was such a bonus! It's nice that it's a self-contained underground room as it feels like your own studio apartment :). The room was clean too - always a bonus! We could park for free on the street outside as it was a weekend!

I was super happy with my stay overall - literally the only tiny things to note is that instead of having milk sachets, perhaps a small jar of milk would be better (for the host too!) and the lamp by the bed is a very harsh light so we didn't use it at all - we just used the much softer main lights. But these are tiny notes and the overall stay was excellent.

Really quiet spot, only 5 mins from busy Downs and Blackboy Hill. Comfy bed. Warm. Will definitely book again.

A second bedside table and lamp would be good. A small area for eating, e.g. a sideboard or table, and a chair, would help the eating experience. There is only the bathroom for washing up, and no detergent. The access is down a steep staircase, not for the mobility impaired.

Loved having a kettle and small fridge. Bathroom was large and apartment seemed spacious. Helpful to have a TV. Mattress was comfy. Great location with some really lovely places to eat and shop just a few minutes walk away.

Not enough hot water for a bath so having a bath available wasn't as expected. There was a real lack of hot water, after a few minutes the water ran lukewarm. Loved having a cafetiere but a bigger one would have been much better. The noise from the main house of people going up and down the stairs, the washing machine and kitchen noises seemed to be coming through the adjoining locked door so sometimes it felt like this was so constant. Perhaps some noise padding could be added to the other side of adjoining door?

It's located in a nice area, very quiet at night. Interior looks nice, clean and it's comfy only thing to notice is there is no kitchen, so please do not expect to cook in this apartment : )

the same reminder as above - there is no kitchen, but that's not a problem for my stay, I was well noted about this and eating outside during my stay.

The place was in a great location ,very quiet ,very clean and nicely decorated,toilet very clean and everything very tidy

The only thing I can say and is not bad it was ,it was hard to find the place ,and the access is a bit odd to get to the door ,apart from that ,perfect

Located in a good location, convinent for all of Clifton. Room is clean, comfortable and well equipped. Nice touch for a fridge, cutlery and a selection of books

The steps down are very steep so not suitable for all. Also not signposted so easy to miss in the dark.

I stayed here as my husband was in the Spire hospital. It’s only a 10 minute walk from the hospital and I was able to leave my car at the hospital.

It’s has 2 lockboxes and only one works, booking.com didn’t make me aware of this and it took over 20 minutes to get into the property.

Studio was spacious and brightly appointed. Comfortable bed and big bathroom with heated floors were a lovely treat. Loved the Clifton neighbourhood. Very residential with schools, churches, cafes, restaurants, shops, pubs, vintage and other indy shops. Close to Clifton Down rail station, and walk into Old Town is easy and all down hill. Appreciated the local recommendations for restaurants, grocers, and cafes. Nice that kettle, instant hot drinks, and fridge were provided.

Motion light that comes on sooner (and stays on longer) when going down steps to entrance. A microwave to warm up food would be helpful. Other than that, everything was great.

At first, I was lost because I didn't know where it was. However, when I contacted them, they immediately answered and the host came out. They came out and kindly helped me. Also, the atmosphere of the accommodation was so cozy and clean! I recommend it!

The rooms are comfortable, clean and lovely. The property is in an excellent location - at one end of the road the Downs, at the other excellent shops and restaurants. I met the owner upstairs and she was very kind - welcoming and friendly. There's a comfortable reading chair, a good shower, a small refrigerator, and a picnic basket with plates, cups/glasses, silverware, and a coffee press. All very useful to feel more at home. It was convenient to have the key accessible at any hour when I arrived, but see below for challenges with the keys.

The only trouble I had was getting in the front door. I arrived at night after long travel delays and in the rain. At first I did not see the key box, more accurately, I saw it but did not realise it was the key box. I called the after hours number and she picked up immediately and stayed with me until I got in. Fantastic comforting support. The outside stone stairs down to the basement flat are very steep and narrow, so I found it challenging to carry my suitcase down, especially in the dark and wet. Another night I simply could not get the skeleton key to work to open the door. After many attempts I again called for help and received it. Thank-you!
