Always immaculately clean. Excellent pricing, what with three hotels within a hundred yards of each other, and The Berkely Square Hotel a two minute walk away. Excellent breakfast variety. Time restraints, and lateness of my booking, forced upon me a shared bathroom option. To my surprise, it was no hindrance at all, and it was exceptionally clean. The bed was extremely low, less than a foot off the flooring, but very comfortable, and as good a pair of pillows as you can get. Plug socket at bedside for phone, which is great. Bedroom nice and warm, it being a cold January. Ticked all the boxes, and, admittedly January being quiet for hospitality, was probably underpriced.

I had to leave.

VERY clean, as always. Warm room, excellent bedding.

No cup provided for my tea and coffee. Had to go back to reception from room 541who sorted me a cup quickly, .... a lot of stairs,....only to realise no teaspoon neither. A "one off", no doubt, but had to use my toothbrush to stir. I had booked for two consecutive days, but tea and coffee, and milk and sugar, only sufficent for one day. Had to, again, get additional supplies from reception, who sorted it immediately upon my second day of booking.

Hotel needs quite a few updates but overall it is a very pretty hotel,amazing location,amazing staff,I ll mention specially Maria from reception and housekeeping,and Omar the night receptionist who is absolutely lovely,,genuine ,nice person .He definitely knows how to treat a guest,he appreciates guest s loyalty and he is super polite.The company should be grateful they have people like these working for and with them!Maria is also extremely helpful ,polite and nice.

The staff were very helpful allowing us to keep one of the rooms when we had two separate bookings on back to back nights, they also allowed us to check in at 11:30 pm as we had lost track of time. They also had a room with breakfast snacks, cereals, fruit etc which could be used for free which was a nice bonus.

Unfortunately in my first room there was no light switch for the bathroom just a exposed fitting for the switch in the ceiling and the shower/bathroom tap dripped. This wasn't a big deal for me but might not be ideal for a light sleeper. There were no issues in any of the other rooms in the group so I must have just been unlucky.

The bed was made nicely, the room was presentable and well furnished, and included a wall-mounted TV and some toiletries. The receptionist was also very hospitable and friendly in his approach.

There was no hot breakfast, and the continental breakfast that was offered was very limited. I could not find any cereal bowls, nor fresh milk, nor any freshly made croissants or pastries, which was disappointing. When I tried to enquire into this, the reception desk was unmanned. The seating area in the breakfast room was also extremely limited.

Room was very nicely adorned, quiet, beds were well made up and clean and bathroom was very nicely furnished, cleaned and maintained. New soaps and shampoo/conditioner were provided. Simple but nice breakfast provided, staff were very friendly! Location not too far from city center but far enough out to be calmer. Good food options nearby!

Carpets weren't particularly clean (many dirt marks rubbed into the carpet) and the shower still had soap from the previous guest.

The price is excellent and in a nice little area of Bristo, with tonnes of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. Despite all this its quiet. The bed was comfy, water pressure in the shower excellent and room was clean and tidy. Lady at reception was an absolute superstar and helped me with parking and where to eat. This place isn't the Hilton but then you aren't paying Hilton prices. Free breakfast also a lovely touch.

Nothing really. Everything about the place met my expectations.

Comfy bed, easy check-in. Breakfast "snacks" provided - cereal, yoghurt, fruit, pastries and biscuits. Lovely, convenient location.

Paying extra for parking my car but most hotels in Bristol appear to do this. Travelling by train from London is not financially viable (more expensive than the hotel and petrol for car together) and so car was needed, so pity to have to pay extra for this but not a deal breaker.

Property has parking out front. Receptionist efficient and informative rooms, comfortable and spotless continental breakfast more than enough for anybody with a large variety of foods, hot or cold tea coffee and hot chocolate was lovely

Firstly, Kerry at reception was so warm, and so helpful. She was so lovely to chat with, and provided invaluable information on transport links and give helpful tips for my visit to the city. She’s an exemplar of hospitality! The how’re itself was spotless, the rooms well appointed, and the breakfast generous.

The hotel did feel like a little bit of a trek from the train and bus stations, so it wasn’t really walkable. However, the hotel is well served by a local bus (8) that connects to the stations and the city centre.
