Breakfast was great, room view and balcony was amazing. 😍 watching the sun go down over the sea was spectacular ! Close to many other towns and beaches. Food fantastic with a lot of choice on the menu. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The only thing was the mattress on the bed was quite soft and low. Water pressure was low but that can’t be helped with where they are situated.

The property is in a lovely location.

The room was very small and the wash basin was in the sleeping area!! If someone was at the sink I had to walk across the bed to get to the other side as I couldn’t walk around them. Knocked my legs several times resulting in bruises. In my opinion overpriced. This should be a single room!!

not really anything to dislike about the property just couple of floor tiles in bathroom were cracked and need replacing enamel in bath could do with a repair and my partner has dairy allergies and no breakfast was catered for as stated when booked

I liked that they were so friendly and approachable, especially, Lyndsey, Mo, and Amanda, not forgetting Fay, but the rest of the staff, were equally as nice, food was excellent, cooked very well, compliments to their chef, lovely surroundings, very hospitable, the view of the bay from our room, which was number five, was lovely, we had a sea view, and it was panoramic, not just a slice of it, the sunsets were beautiful, especially on a sunny evening, most of the guests if not all of them, were taking photos of it, me included. Towels and sheets were white, not grey, like you can get in some hotels, lovely carpet underfoot, didn't need slippers, altho I did wear sliders, comfortable bed, adequate hanging space for clothes plus two large drawers, tea and coffee facilities, also Tonic water, and Still water, hence my mention of a mini fridge, quiet at night, no loud noises to keep you awake, radiators in room also. Overall is was a lovely week stay, made more pleasant by those I have mentioned, thankyou so much, from Chris and Pete Bell 👏👏👏😊 p.s. Nothing was too much trouble, we only had to ask, thanks again 💐

The shower cubicle was a little small, if there were a different sort of shower, not the ones with off and on, on a bar that took up room, and the caddy for shampoos etc were on the shower wall , there would have been more room, but it sufficed, brilliant pressure on the water for the shower tho. Flies in dining room, could be an idea to get those blue light zappers around, also, the knives, might sound silly and churlish, but cutting certain foods, with a fish knife, was daunting 😂 a little mini fridge in the room would have been beneficial, to keep the water and tonic cool, that was kindly left for us, but saying this, it was really good, thankyou 😊

Location is outstanding with the most fantastic views. The staff couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful, they made the stay memorable.

It would have been nice if the restaurant menu changed during the week to add more variety.

Location is brilliant, and the room was very very clean.

Although you can get a fried breakfast (albeit across the road in the cafe) it’s only continental breakfast available on site which has to be booked the day prior so plan in advance.

The venue was lovely and we were able to park, which is always a bonus. The staff were nice and friendly. Our room was clean

The staff couldn't do enough for you. Continental breakfast was amazing. Hotel was super clean. Great location. We ate in the restaurant every evening and there was a good selection on the menu - love the Cornish wine.

Nothing at all

Room was recently refurbished to a very high standard, loved the modern decor and shower. Had full English breakfast 1st day it was huge and all high quality produce. The attention to detail at the bay view was exceptional all crockery etc was of a good quality.The pictures do not do this hotel justice and the views of widemouth bay from the terrace and ding area were stunning. The staff were so welcoming nothing was too much trouble, and made our stay a memorable one.

Breakfast and dinner always very good. Had a good choice of gluten free dishes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable, except for the duvet cover. Would have preferred to have a cover with buttons on the end so the duvet stays inside the cover. Was woken up several times over the week by a faulty flash on one of the toilets or taps on the floor below. Needs to be looked at.

Nothing we didn't like. View was amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was very good.
