The breakfast was superb. The bacon and sausages were from home reared pigs and the eggs were from the host's own chickens. I can honestly say that the bacon and sausages were the best that I've ever tasted. I was the only guest for the period of my stay and the family couldn't have been more welcoming. Jane was my host and she took time out to chat to me over breakfast and from day 2 had a glass of orange juice ready and waiting for my arrival.

There was nothing that I didn't like. This was a B&B stay in someone's home and everything had the personal touch.

A lovely old building. We had the room with the extra large double bed. It was very comfortable and the room looked out over the garden pond and we watched the gold finches feeding from bird feeders.

The stair were steep and not for the infirm

The room was excellent,and the breakfast was also excellent. Jane, the host, was absolutely brilliant. She was very friendly and you felt very welcome. The location was also perfect for me.

Apart from the muddy car park and the two scary (not really) black dogs nothing to dislike at all.

We had a great stay at Claw House. It's a beautiful property in a lovely location. Jane was very friendly and cooked a delicious breakfast on both mornings. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend to friends & stay again when in the area.

Host Jane engaged with us on arrival with a friendly and homely welcome. We were taken to a really comfortable room with all facilities, looking on to the garden where we could see the animals in her care. Breakfast to a high standard The Bed was comfortable and Jane proved to be interesting and knowledgeable about the area .It was especially lovely to meet all the animals and the two super Dogs. Highly recommend and will return soon

Lovely family run B&B With a really homely feel. Good breakfast B&B Was based on a small holding so some animals around to see. Owner has 2 rescue dogs who were very much part of the family.

Excellent comfortable accommodation and very nice breakfast. Superb eggs and tomatoes from owners own hens and vegetable garden. Nice view of the garden from the room and above all a very friendly and welcoming owner Jane.

The house and garden were beautiful, and my room was huge, lovely, and had everything I needed. Jane and Darran were wonderful hosts - really warm, welcoming, and keen to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I had the best sleep I've had in years there and was really quite sad to leave. I would highly recommend.

Full breakfast with home produced bacon, sausages, eggs, jam and marmalade: exemplifying hosts’ farming principles….all, tasty! Location beautiful with fascinating insights into principled and successful rural living. Our welcome and contacts throughout the stay, were so thoughtful; responding generously to our interest in the farm and its characterful residents.Must not omit the amazing welcome fruit loaf…..
