Amazing entry from the car park, lovely little walkway. Lovely greeting upon arrival from the owners who added lots of personal touches. Such a quirky place with lots of hidden gems throughout the building. Bedroom was spacious, beautifully designed and bathroom lovely and fresh. Lovely extras such as blankets to keep warm if it was cold, luckily the heating kept us snuggly. Powerful hot shower both lastnight and this morning. Breakfast was delicious and made exactly as we ordered 😋 Carpark easy to find just around the back of the building. Good sized spaces, as a new driver i needed this. Definitely will be returning

Quirky and interesting building in the centre of a lovely little town. Close to shops, restaurants and pubs. We were on a cycling tour and the owners provided us with a locked cycle store in the car park - with power so that one of our guys could charge his electric bike. The breakfast was lovely - fresh fruit, yoghurt and home made granola for me was just right. My bed was one of the most comfortable ever :)

We were here for a family wedding, The Owls was recommended. What can I say. In a few words. Jo and Ian were the best hosts, so warm and welcoming. The best breakfast I have had in ages. We will be back next year, or maybe earlier. Best place we've stayed in years. Thank you for the wonderful welcome.

Lovely home cooked breakfast with lots of choice. The room was large and warm and bearing in mind it was on the main street it was very quiet due to the triple glazing. Everything was clean and tidy and the parking at the rear was great.

This is an old building and the floors are not always level and there is no lift but this all helps towards the quaint feeling of the building.

As we were staying after a family get together in town, a later check out would have helped. In future I would maybe ask for one and pay a bit extra if need be

I booked my room with literally 10 minutes notice as I'd been let down by another hotel. Hosts were fabulous, got me settled in quickly and brought me an extra heater as the weather was really cold. Vegetarian cooked breakfast was lovely. Room was at the front so I expected it to be noisy but I couldn't hear a thing.

Lovely welcoming hosts, room was clean warm and beautifully decorated all the facilities needed, great shower. Breakfast was well cooked and plentiful private parking overall stress free enjoyable stay, will definitely return.

Everything was great. The room was spotlessly clean, Ian and Jo were so friendly and welcoming and it was so convenient to have the parking facilities too. The breakfast was delicious and I would highly recommend the homemade jam.

the beverages weren't replenished during my 2 day stay - but I'm sure I could have had some if I'd have asked for no good for anyone with stair issues

A great B&B well situated for the Hay Festival. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was good. Right in the heart of Builth Wells so a great location.
