Good-sized & clean rooms which were very dog-friendly. Great location in a very quiet spot, only 2 miles from M5 Carlisle junction. Excellent food in the pub restaurant which was also dog-friendly. Good sized garden to exercise them! Friendly staff & good value for money. We used The Queens as an overnight stop heading north and would definitely return!

Room was cold on arrival, but heating did come on eventually, but NO heating on in the morning in the room, so it was decidedly chilly as the windows are single-glazed. Breakfast is only served between 8 and 10, so perhaps not early enough if you want to stay for work.

The location was great for a break on the way from N. Wales up to Scotland. It's a lovely pub that welcomes dogs and there's a lovely walk that takes you through some fields, into a tranquil woodland and across a lovely golf course. They provide dog bowls in the room. Staff are very welcoming. Room was lovely and clean. The food in the evening was lovely and set menu is good value. The breakfast is delicious. The lady serving breakfast is lovely too. Plenty of parking and outside seating area. The village is well kept. Would stay again.

Minor thing. Bed in the deluxe room was a bit too soft for me, was fine for him. With the Sunday set menu, beware that they charge you the right amount. Our bill had to be amended twice. It was only right the third time around. The showers takes a while to reach temp. But a good shower afterwards.

Breakfast and Dinner - Excellent. Food was very tasty and served hot. Overall - very comfortable with wonderful staff. Accommodating, helpful and friendly. Location: perfect for us and with peaceful surroundings, we were able to relax after our arrival and enjoy all that The Queens had to offer for our overnight stay. We would definitely book to stay again and recommend to family/friends etc. Parking facilities easy on the property grounds.

Nil negative comments required as we had a very positive and happy stay. Nil Complaints, only compliments deserved. Nil dislikes at all.

Quaint little pub within a short drive from Carlisle centre. I attended my graduation with my husband and twin boys, and it was the perfect location. Staff were lovely, and nothing was too much bother. Food is absolutely beautiful. we had both dinner and breakfast during our trip. The starters and mains were delicious, and the selection of cerels toast and then a full English set us all up nicely for the long day in the morning. Bedroom was large and had plenty of room for the four of us comfy beds (bit too soft but comfy). Shower lovely and hot too. Really was a lovely little trip Thankyou 😊

There wasn't anything that we didnt like anything we needed was not a problem for the staff.

The area where The Queens was situated could not have been better. Not too far away from Carlisle and just a short walk to a bus stop. The breakfast was as much or as little as we wanted. The room large enough with two very comfortable beds, and a good ensuite. The whole hotel had recently been decorated inside and out to a high standard.

There were a few negatives though. There was only one chair in the room, another one would have been nice and someware to stand a case on would make life easier. Although the ensuite was a decent size, for us the access in and out of the shower cubicle was rather restricted.

The pub is lovely and the rooms were clean with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also nice with a shower. Everything was very clean. We had a continental breakfast the next morning due to the kitchens being renovated which was very nice. The breakfast room and Dining room is massive and looks out onto a lovely big garden.

The Kitchen was out of service so unable to have hot food the night before or breakfast the following morning. We were advised of this beforehand so it didn't really matter as the continental was nice enough.

I enjoyed the breakfast choice and had orange juice, tea, toast and some items from the Full English menu, although if someone is looking for yoghurt or fruit they may find it a bit limited. Cereal was provided. The room was clean and comfy and I slept very well. There were no restrictions on where I could go with my dog in the pub or rooms. The evening menu was very good and the food was excellent with generous portions. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Parking was no problem at the pub, and although it was convenient for the M6 it was in the countryside and quiet.

First of all you’ve got Guinness! That’s a fantastic start! Then your cleaner is a bit of a character 😂 she likes a laugh and was very nice to us! 👌🏼 Let’s start with the room was very nice and clean bed mattress was very comfortable and the the pillows and sheets was very clean and comfortable tea and coffee to make your selfs a cuppa in morning or evening wasn’t any biscuits though!!! 😂 only joking. Breakfast Well what can we say I recommend you have the scrambled eggs with your full English it’s one of the best breakfasts we’ve had at a hotel 👌🏼👌🏼 Dinner WOW 🤩 the meal we had was amazing hats off to the chef she’s definitely a keeper there the food was absolutely delicious and thank you for recommending the steak I had the ribeye and the wife had the beef featheblade We had starters and only had the one pudding as we just couldn’t eat anymore as we were both full so we ended up sharing the pudding 🍮 Staff there are very welcoming and very nice’ and lovely people.

We loved this little gem in the tiny village of Warwick on Eden on the doorstep of Carlisle. It was so welcoming, clean and comfortable with a gentle liveliness in the beer garden on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The setting was wonderful too, with a lush green walk through a forest to a golf course at sunset. The staff, especially the hospitable Andy, were welcoming and helpful and the dinner and breakfast were fresh and delicious. With lovely crisp linen and quiet at night, sleep was deep and easy.

Nothing. We'd definitely stay at The Queen's again.

I had an evening meal as well as breakfast. In the evening the restaurant was busy and the food was excellent. Breakfast the following morning was OK. I requested 2 poached eggs, sausage and mushrooms.

During my evening meal there was a very long delay between my starter and main courses which was a shame as I was past my second course when it did arrive. At breakfast one of my poached eggs was under cooked and had split which was disappointing. All the food tastes good though.
