loved how comfortable the bed was, the size of the room was amazing, the places itself was so nices not much traffic heard, even with the window open what was really nices and was able to get a good night sleep moat nights.

did not like that we got no housekeeping at our stay over the week. We were there having to find someone for things that was not a full experience of the stay, also dis not like the light coming from under our door ever night and also been a weaken up around 6 am a few days to someone trying to enter are room or been waken up by housekeepers been a bite to loud. been a housekeeper myself would of been telling them to please keep it down however was able to go back to sleep the days we did not think that someone was not trying to get into are room at that time of morning. would say the prices of the room from Friday to Friday was a bite much for what it cost.

Very helpful staff and nice hotel. Bed very comfy and hotel is in a nice location. The breakfast is very good with all you need to eat and drink in the morning. Great chef and very helpful. I would highly recommend this place to all looking to stay in Carlisle for the night. I would definitely return to this hotel to all, not bad value for money considering the time of year.All good very happy. 👍

Not the hotels fault but very noisy guests in the hotel who were making alot of noise at six in the morning. But still does not take away from the rest of what this property has to offer, lovely place 😀

It was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, lovely towels, the breakfast was beautifully cooked with roast that was just right, crispy but not so hard that It was like chewing rock as you get in some hotels. Very impressed with breakfast. The range of cereals was limited to weetabix, cornflakes and rice crispies but I don't have cereals anyway. In the dining room, the Edwardian era (I assume) cornices had been retained and beautifully painted. I hope that the beautiful ruling is kept. I understand the owners have only been in residence for 2 months and will be doing some refurbishment.

The shower was a bit tricky as it's one of those which is operated by a lever from the taps.

Good clean comfortable hotel,Ideal for halfway stop to Scotland from Cornwall, easy to get to and from M6 , They made a special effort to make sure I had a downstairs room as I have difficulty with stairs due to arthritis Excellent breakfasts and all the staff are lovely..They are a dog friendly hotel too which is such a refreshing change .All the dogs that were there were very well behaved and there was no disturbance at all Well done Pinegrove :)

Nothing to dislike at all .

This was out third visit to Pinegrove Hotel. We use it because the staff are so welcoming... even to our dog who had a free sausage for breakfast. It is a simple hotel which is so conveniently located on the main road just off the motorway. The full English breakfast was excellent. Parking easy and free.

This is not a luxury hotel; it is affordable and the bed comfortable and the welcome warm. That makes it just right for us.

. This hotel has become a regular overnight stopover on long journeys north. It is comfortable, clean with cheerful, helpful staff and does an excellent breakfast.

Sadly the hotel was changing hands the next day so breakfast was not available. However, if we still wanted to stay we were offered a refund of the breakfast price and advice on local breakfast eateries, both of which we accepted. We hope the new owners will be as good as the last.

Location, very close to motorway for travel. Kitchen staff very helpful, polite and attentive. Breakfast overall very good and if you went hungry it is your own fault. Fresh fruit and yogurt would be nice but this is only an observation as no fault could be found with what was available.

Mixer taps for shower on bath would need replacing. The instability of of temperature could be very dangerous, espesially on hot water.However we were informed hotel is sold and take over due in August.

Staff were lovely and friendly. Conveniently located for the purpose of our visit. A little dated but was a comfortable stay. Bed was comfortable.

Bathroom could’ve been cleaner, but nothing major just cobwebs and dead spiders. Hotel In general needs updated, freshen up. Would stay there again though.

The owner (Nick) really helped us out by allowing me to move rooms (at a late hour). There was some problem with some other guests who were partying into the early morning (no fault of hotel). Nick was a great help. Overall great value and location decent. Bus stop outside hotel takes you into the centre (10 min journey). Car parking was ample.

The proximity to the M6/M74 and the on site parking made this hotel an exceptionally convenient stop over on our way North. The staff were welcoming and friendly as well as very accommodating. They offered help and advice for places to eat or for takeaway. The room cotton bed linen and ensuite were very clean and the bed very comfortable. Our room at the back of the building was quiet - the only noise coming from the guest above as he/she walked about getting ready for bed. We had a good night's sleep. Toiletries shower and bath were good although the suite like the hotel room was a bit dated. Breakfast was straight forward and quick. A small selection of cereal and juice, followed by toast, tea, coffee and a choice of full English/ vegetarian/scrambled eggs and kippers. The full English was tasty and served beautifully hot. Great value and very convenient. Thank you to all the staff.
