Fabulous & charming from start to finish, Rosalind House is in a beautiful Grade II listed 1840s terrace. Rooms are gorgeous. Super comfy bed & gorgeous linen. Breakfast was amazing!! Hosts were super helpful and we felt looked after as well as very comfortable. Every convenience incl. USB wall sockets & local guide books. Rosalind House is perfectly located for restaurants, bars, pubs, city centre, Carlisle train & bus stations, and best attractions like the castle, old town hall, and the cathedral (cathedral is magnificent inside and out by the way!). Sportsman was our favourite pub & Halston Hotel had our favourite cocktail bar; classy. Chimes cafe on Castle St for great tea, sandwiches, every good thing, and lovely staff too. the best.

Everything I liked.. was amazing ..looked after us and more..room was comfortable and cosy..bed very comfortable..Shower was great too.Breakfast was amazing..fresh flowers on the table butter jam fruit yogurt coffe bread cereal choice of cooked food to order.home made plum jam from their plum tree.was delicious.home made scones were to die for and home made biscuits and milk in the fridge..Really was first class ..well done....x

Rosalind House was the perfect choice to stay in Carlisle. Great location on a quiet street and not far from the centre of town. The cheese and bacon scones were delicious for breakfast along with all of the other delicious food. The homemade cookies left at our door was a wonderful treat. Thanks so much for your hospitality and help. Certainly a place to remember.

Absolutely everything. Was homey and the room was lovely. Great character to it and in the perfect location. The owners were very friendly and helpful, the also gave a lovely touch of homemade biscuits and messaged to let you know about things.

Room was lovely, Bed was so comfy, and Julie, the host, was really friendly and helpful. As we were there for Easter , Julie even left us two complimentary Easter eggs in our room, which was a lovely touch. The location was excellent with lots of restaurants, bars, and places of interest in easy walking distance from the property. I would highly recommend Rosalind House, and if I ever come back to Carlisle, We would definitely stay here again.

I beautifully restored property with bags of charm and character. Lots of attention to detail that makes the property stand out. Spotless and very comforting and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again. Hosts were absolutely lovely and breakfast was amazing.

We liked the friendly reception we had from Julie on arrival. The room was very comfortable and very clean. There was fresh milk in the fridge in our room for tea and coffee . Breakfast was brilliant with a selection of fruit, cereals, toast and freshly cooked bacon, eggs pancakes and even freshly baked cheese and bacon scones! The location was good too with several restaurants nearby and it was only a short walk to the town centre and tourist attractions. We would certainly recommend this lovely bed and breakfast venue. I was impressed by the owners warm welcoming reception despite the weather being from wet. The room was lovely and inviting, the facilities were of high standard. I was a little disappointed that there were very few toilet rolls, plus no guest parking clock was offered or advice as to where to park locally. Despite these points I would give the Rosalind House a 9 out time.

Julie is the best host! The B&B is situated in the town centre. Everything is within a walking distance of max 10 minutes. The breakfast is heaven as well! There are fresh scones and pastries every morning and a selection of warm breakfast as well. I would totally recommend this place to everyone for their stay in Carlisle.

We hiked Hadrian Wall and Kathy was super helpful to help us pre-arrange the details for public transport and luggage. Above and Beyond!

Everything was terrific! The only thing was the traffic on the street was disturbing which of course the host can not effect.
