Perfect place to stay, around 30 min drive to Windermere. Lodges located on the lake some are of direct view on the lake , while others are a few meters away. The lodge has 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets , a living room with a sofa bed and well- equipped kitchen. The lodge has all the things you might need : washing machine, dishwasher, ironing board, and nice terrace with table and chairs. The view is stunning, and the environment is perfect and safe for the family. I liked the ducks and swans around. There are swimming pool, water sports club, kids' playgrounds, and indoor kids' entertainment area. There is a small grocery next to the reception.

The only problem I faced is the cars noise coming from the motorway, as I had to open windows during my sleep.

Lovely setting with view over Lake. Well organised, with friendly helpful staff. Spent a lot of time in the leisure centre. Kids loved the inflatable sessions. Shame jacuzzi was out of action. Easy to book slots. Lodge was well equipped and comfortable.

Was disappointed you weren’t allowed to swim in Lake. Would be great if you could make a small area where it was safe to swim outside (wild swimming is so refreshing and fun). Kitchen could do with addition of a flat baking tray.

Our property was clean modern and we have lovely clean fluffy towels and bedding also soaps and tea coffee

Couldn’t fault it

We loved the cosy and comfortable cabin. It had everything you needed to cook your own meals. There was a comfortable dining area in the cabin. The bed was very comfortable and we always had good night sleeps. The bathroom had all the amenities required and was clean, modern and stylish. The television was good to watch in bed. The weather wasn’t great when we went but we took part in many indoor activities at the park in the games centre.

We were asked to pay another £100 deposit on arrival. While this was paid back it always sets the wrong tone for the break. We also didn’t enjoy the hyper sensitivity of the fire alarm which went off as soon as we started cooking. We had to open all windows and doors which made the cabin chilly. My fiancé then caught a cold because of this.

We stayed in a studio lodge which was close to all the facilities and parking. The lodge had everything we needed for a short break. The lake is gorgeous and the leisure facilities are very good. I loved being able to walk easily and use of the pool, steam room and sauna was a real delight for me. The staff were excellent, smiling, helpful and very friendly. The reception staff were lovely and the staff in the bistro were exceptionally nice.

The chairs in the lodge are not comfortable so it was difficult to relax in the evenings. I was aware of traffic noise outside but got used to it. It didn’t bother me inside

Lodge was really lovely. Good size and good size bedrooms with two bathrooms. The double bedroom was en suite. Bath in other bathroom. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Nice touch having washing up liquid, kitchen roll and toilet rolls supplied and replaced when lodge was cleaned. Regular text messages from reception regarding entertainment and cautions. There are plenty of plug sockets in every room. Good size tv in the lounge and small tv in the master bedroom. Wardrobes were a really good size. Plenty of draw space too. Lovely outside area to sit. Lake is lovely and clean. Water sports site is really good.

The lodge wasn't as clean as it could have been. When towels were changed, one of the towels had a stain on it, we didn't use it as they did supply plenty. There was what looked like a coffee stain on one of bedroom floors. We reported that as they said they would charge us for any damages. Reception kept sending messages to say not to fish and not to feed the ducks/swans/geese, but other visitors kept doing this.

So convenient as its only an hour away from home. Lovely setting on the lake

This is our second year here and the lodges are in need of some TLC, they need updating decor wise, at least a lick of paint in areas. I appreciate the staff were busy over the festive period but more attention should be given to the seating area in the area where the arcade is. I had to clear and wipe down the tables each time we sat in there with the kids. We as a family clean up after our children, shame others can't do the same to take the pressure off the staff, at least binning all their rubbish they bring in. We had 2 lodges side by side, one lodge was missing quite a few items, sweeping brush, dustpan and brush etc Overall, a nice 3 day break away for NY

We liked the swimming pool, childrens park, crazy golf, the lake & the boat hire, and the childrens indoor play area

I didn't like that the reception staff wouldn't let us check in at 15.35pm, she made us wait until exactly 4pm, even though I had a 5 year old with me. There was a space underneath the lodge where the pipes were, and I noticed at nighttime a rat run in and out from under the lodge. I told staff twice, but nothing was done. Seeing as the rat was only outside it didn't affect the lodge stay. And animals are kind of expected due to the location. The restaurant food was a little pricey, and hardly any vegan options.

Location and staff friendly Had an issue with cooker/Oven and staff addressed straight away unable to rectify and we were given a complimentary meal in restaurant that all family enjoyed.

The lodge wasn’t as clean as expected had stayed there many years ago and even though that lodge was older and not refurbished it was a lot cleaner than the one we stayed in this time This time we had dirty pots in cupboard lots of dust around the edges paper toilet paper behind bin in bathroom just hadn’t been checked through. On going work on the site lodges being refurbished would be nice if workmen hadn’t of started drilling and banging before 9am in lodge next to us

Have stayed in over 70 resorts and can honestly say pine lakes is now number 1 of my favourites! From the customer service, price, facilities, staff to accommodation and the beds, kitchen bathrooms, towels bedding. Absolutely amazing! This resort goes above and beyond in every way possible! I’ve already booked again, and my family have also booked 3 other lodges. I want to Thankyou from myself and my family for making one of the Most memorable weekends of our life’s. Truly the best decision to stay with you and look forward to staying with you again. I did not want to leave. ❤️
