Warm welcome on check-in by Jenny. We had been selected, the guests for the day. We received complementary parking for the duration of the stay, a sweet treat in our room, and two vouchers for a drink in the bar. The location was ideal for the purpose of our visit. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast on site was very good, especially from a gluten-free aspect. There was a clearly marked area containing gluten-free items and a separate toaster to use, I was also given an allergy guide to check what hot food items were safe for me.

The only thing that was a negative, was the water coming through the ceiling in the bar area.

We used the cafe and bar only. The coffee and drinks were good and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel was very clean and had a good atmosphere. ALL the staff were very friendly and always had a smile on there face which is so refreshing these days. I would like to mention Sarah on Reception and James the Duty Manager. We had a few issues when we arrived they went the extra mile to help us resolve some problems and made us feel at home.

I was disappointed that there was not a fridge in the room. I need this for medication - they bought me a fridge but it wasn't cold enough to store my medication. I was also disappointed that there were no drawers or shelves to store underwear and non-hanging clothes. Their pillows are not good at all. These are the only reasons the star raring is low.

The hotel is very well situated for our needs! This was our fourth visit and as previously we received a very warm welcome especially from Chloe in reception! We were informed when we arrived that we had been chosen as the guests of the day and presented with some very welcome goodies! Every member of staff we met greeted us with a warm smile and greeting and made us feel very welcome! The rooms are spacious and well equipped and very comfortable! Ideally located for Cheltenham Spa or Gloucester or exploring the Cotswold!

There wasn't anything specific that we didn't like but did feel that the hotel was looking a little bit tired and maybe needs a bit of updating but nothing to put you off your stay!

Nice Hotel. Friendly staff that went out of their way to help you. Breakfast was excellent, Nice selection of Full english and continental options. The food was constantly replenished so it never ran out even when close to breakfast finish time. We had a wonderful check-in surprise being told we were 'Guest of the day'! Which meant a free complimentry drink from the bar each day for each of our party and also complmentry parking. This was a real nice touch.

Bar was a bit expensive and also shut quite early for a hotel (11pm)

The Supierior Double bedroom was very clean and well appointed, the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was extensive, well cooked and staff worked all the time to make sure everything was filled up. We used the leisure facilities which were great. The hotel was conveniently placed on a major bus route so it was easy to get to both Cheltenham and Gloucester quickly. There was a parking fee but it was reasonable and with other hotels/facilities nearby (including a new park and ride being built) it would be silly not to charge. It may be worth considering replacing the shower/bath at some point - the shower was fixed and cannot be moved and is over a bath. This hotel has only recenelty become a Leonardo from being a Jury's Inn. Perhaps a more modern walk in shower as there is space. However this did not affect our stay and the showers were hot and powerful.

Nothing - everything was as we expected

We stayed for 2 nights, we were two adults and one child. We liked the choice for the buffet breakfast and that they offered vegan options on request. The staff were very accommodating. Clean rooms, friendly and professional staff. We loved the leisure facilities, swimming pool and jacuzzi.

There was no Aircon or mini fridge. It got quite hot in the evening and we couldn't regulate the radiator. On the first night, we had 3 pillows per person and the second night we only had 2 per person for some reason. After our first night only 1 large towel and 2 small towels were replenished. It was all sorted after I notified reception though. There were some people making noise with kids running up and down the corridors late at night, but didn't last long.

The choice at breakfast was well worth the money paid. I certainly made the most of the variety on offer. The room was lovely and bright, clean with a very comfortable bed. I was fortunate to be selected as guest of the day - which really did make my day - and came with some lovely fudge as well as vouchers for the bar and restaurant. We ate at the hotel for a couple of the evenings and the food was very tasty and filling. I was so impressed with the hotel and the staff that I have already booked a few nights for myself and colleagues at another of the Leonardo hotels during a work conference next year!

I don't have anything negative to say about my stay.

The hotel was family friendly. We went there as a group of 10, I have booked 4 rooms and the staff ( Jenna) allocated us 2 interconnected rooms which was infront of each other.,which was a brilliant idea specially as a family. The breakfast has a good selection and food was great. The leisure facility was good size and the staff were very helpful and accommodating.

We needed to pay £7 per night on the hotel parking and there was some hair underneath the bed in room 118 which I think was not properly cleaned,but other wise everything was clean. The bed and pillows were comfy but the wheels can’t be locked so the bed moves a bit especially when you sit on it.

Great location. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Good dinner

Did not know expect the £7 parking fee when staying there.

This hotel had been known (locally) for being quite tired and not a great choice. I was pleasantly surprised at the improvements made under new ownership./brand. I was given a room upgrade to a suite, and whilst that room was not one of the refreshed rooms, it was still excellent, and the overall value for money is high.The staff were wonderful too, really positive, smiling.

A bit of a challenge to get your bags to a room, as there are two sets of stairs to negotiate.
