I arrived early, the pub had not been open long and was met by lovely friendly staff who explained everything about my stay and offered to find someone to help with my suitcase up the stairs - its a pub so no lifts. My room had just been cleaned and was lovely and well decorated with a clean new bathroom. TV with tea making accessories - nice touch on their part was coffee bags and a couple of biscuits, Lovely white fluffy towels too, Was able to open the sash window for air too. I popped out in the evening for food as I did not think the pub did food on Monday. Tuesday morning down to breakfast and was served by the owner who was nice and friendly. Lovely coffee and toast, I was hoping to stay another night but they were booked for the rest of the week. I can understand why its a good location near town and decent price for a Monday.

I parked in the street at the side of the pub and was able to see my car from my room yet there is not a secure car park.

Really friendly staff in a nice clean accommodation that was food value for money. The pub has loads of things to do. It was quiet overnight and the facilities worked well. The matresses were soft, but actually comfortable. The room was smart. Heating very warm and the window opened and allowed good vebtilation over a quiet street, awamy from the pub entrance. Clean and nice carpets and linen. I'd definitely stay there again.

Between the pub and the accommodation could probably be improved. The accommodation had some areas that could be improved, but no complaints from me as it was extremely good value for money.

From the start, we received a warm welcome. The atmosphere was lovely, and the customers were friendly and willing to chat. We were promptly shown to our room for the night, which was clean and comfortable. Considering the unusually hot weather, the staff kindly provided us with a fan, which was a much-appreciated bonus. We dined in the evening, and the food was excellent, although we couldn’t finish it all. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and gave us a great start to the day. We were visiting for the RIAT show, just 35 minutes away, and I’m so glad we discovered this charming little place. The parking availability was also a significant plus. Thank you so much; we will definitely be returning.

Nothing really

The second time I have stayed there while having work done at home. The location was good just out of town meaning I could find free road parking. The rooms are always very clean and cosy. TV, Tea/coffee and kettle even with a couple of biscuits. Breakfast was lovely and they cater for vegetarians - nice touch was added sticks of grilled halloumi and good coffee too. Bathroom has white fluffy towels - another great touch.

I get worried if I cannot park my car nearby yet there are always spaces in local roads and all was ok.

We stayed in a family 3 bed room with ensuite on the front of the property and a double room at the back. The beds were really comfortable, for someone who suffers with back issues I dread nights away as it can really set my problems off, however these beds and mattresses were superb, we all had a great night sleep and no stiffness in the morning. Very quiet room, we thought it might be a tad noisy, but it wasn't at all. It's great value for money, friendly helpful staff, lovely fresh breakfast, can't go wrong for the price we paid. No Parking apart from street parking which during peek times could be tricky but when we visited it was fine.

Only slight negative is parking however its standard for location.

Genuine hospitality. Nice and caring staff. I felt really like home. The pub downstairs gives you the opportunity to meet the locals. Rooms are nice spacious and spotless clean. Fluffy towels and soft sheets ideal to recharge your batteries after a tough busines day. Outstanding plumbing. Great for people like me who use a retort rather than a shower. Nice breakfast cooked to order and good food at the pub downstair. Highly recommended. Real value for money. I will definitely choose it once more if in the area again.

Just a suggestion: switch on the heating a few hour before guests arrive in to the room

Friendly and professional staff, clean room, cooked breakfast was hot and lovely - worth getting up for! They were generous with a late check out, and key for late-night access made things simple.

Had two beds in my room which was lucky - one mattress was like a Hypnos, the other like your grandmothers’ spare! Needless to say I chose the former. Soundproofing between rooms wasn’t the best - could hear neighbours’ snoring. Hotel forgot to give me bath towels - I did fine with the hand towel but wouldn’t have been fun had I tried to wash my hair at night.

Very friendly helpful staff. The breakfast was great. Although we went into town that night, the bar and menu looked good, should you not wish to go further at night.

They can't help their location, so parking was not perfect. Not a problem finding a back street and there's a car park across the way, but not on the premises. Being a pub, obviously it isn't quiet till it closes and as it was warm and our room was over the outside seating, having the window open left you hearing conversations. The decor is clean and functional but the rooms and corridors reflect the price. Some may feel they need refurbishment but everything is there and fit for purpose.

Big room with a double and single bed. Comfy mattress, good linens and lots of towels. (room 6) The room is on the first floor so some stairs, the pub is a popular family place and is beside a busy main road but the room was quiet. Great TV and good WIFI. We booked in for Sunday Lunch which was excellent and great value. Breakfast was good too. The staff were helpful. We took a taxi into the town centre which cost approx £8.00 and there is a direct bus very close to the London Inn. Easy to get a taxi. We would stay again.

An additional shelf in the bathroom and a couple of hooks.

I had chosen the hotel on the basis that we wanted to visit both Cheltenham and the Cotswolds. Its location suited both purposes. I did not want to spend a fortune on car parks so wanted a hotel within easy reach of the town by bus. We could then bus into town for free with our bus passes and move around on the buses. This all worked well. The welcome and friendliness of the proprietor was excellent: as were the breakfasts. It was exceedingly hot but a fan was provided and was needed.

The shower did not work initially and I desperately wanted one to cool down. It was fixed rapidly so thanks! Did not have problems with anything else.
