We initially thought we we be eating at the Hotel etc but didn't realize we had a kitchen in our room - this made the trip so much more affordable, also there was a M&S not far away like 4 mins drive so was easy to grab food there. Staff was helpful, although I waited to late to book any treatments so none was available on my stay but did not spoil my stay. The room, kitchen and bathroom had absolutely everything we needed.

The weather LOL..but obviously no control over that. The phone did not work so was a bit tricky to get to reception. And the car park can do with a bit more lighting.

The location was excellent, the room was spacious and perfect for our little family. The view from the room was stunning and it was lovely and quiet.

We paid full price for the breakfast (£14.95 each) but unfortunately the hot buffet breakfast was almost empty when we arrived and so there was little choice for hot food. We had cereal and toast and noticed, as we were leaving, the hot food had been topped up, but this was on our departure of the restaurant. This was the only aspect of our stay that we were disappointed about due to the breakfast price we paid and what was available at the time.

Clean spacious room. Nice view. .coffee and tea facilities in the room. .staff very polite. Bed very comfortable.

Couldn't use the sun loungers outside on our patio as wet and dirty. Weeds growing outside the patio door. I pulled them up as it looked unsightly. Think more attention needs to be paid for that also lamp didn't wok in room. As we were only staying one night, I didn't report it. Perhaps that could be a check that the cleaners do every time they clean room. But I must add this hasn't put my husband and I off coming g here again. Overall experience was good.to excellent.

Lovely large room (I booked cheapest option), clean and comfortable. Lots of parking. I didn’t use the spa as I arrived late and I didn’t have food there, so I can’t comment on either of those.

Nothing! To help future guests, a suggestion …. I made the mistake of putting the hotel name in my sat nav and it took me to Chipping Campden, where the similarly named hotel there kindly redirected me!! Apparently others have done the same, including on the same day as me. I recommend you use the postcode!

The site is extensive and tranquil, but within easy reach of Chipping Norton. Everywhere was very well tended. We were delighted with the spaciousness of our studio room with patio with chairs and loungers overlooking the golf course. Very comfortable bed. My husband has issues with mobility, but everywhere was easily accessible with lifts where necessary

The restaurant menu was rather limited, but the quality and presentation of the food was excellent. As the hotel focuses on golf, expect the bar area to have a cheery post golf round atmosphere. The plumbing in our apartment could be a little noisy.

The room was lovely with balcony, very clean. Relaxing and quiet at night. The shower was great! The food in the restaurant was very good. The bar was nice, although It would have been better if there was some bar food, such as, chips, olives,, light snacks etc. Made use of the gym. Great as a retreat, resting place. Breakfast could have been hotter, it was warm, but on the cold side. Other than that the view of the golf course was lovely. A very good location if you, like me, like walking. The town was about 25 minutes away, but it was a relaxing walk. I would definitely visit again.

The staff at reception were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I was upgraded to a suite room for free, which was absolutely delightful: clean, quiet, spacious and had a balcony. It was excellent value for money, and there was a wealth of free parking available. The location was fantastic, being reasonably close to motorways and also a fantastic gateway to the Cotswolds. It was about an hour's drive from Birmingham, where I had a work conference, and was very easy to get to from there.

Can't really fault anything if I'm honest. I think I may have been offered a breakfast but the price was extortionate, so I didn't take them up on it. I guess that's it?

Wonderful welcome, amazing room. Spacious light and large enclosed patio area with furniture. With such good value on the room rate I treated myself to a massage which I try to do each time I'm working away. Shona was lovely and the massage spot on.

The only thing that lets this hotel down is the restaurant. Which is such a shame. Limited and specialised menu but more importantly the staff were rude and made you feel like an inconvenience on a mid week evening which was far from busy. Other reviews suggest my experience wasn't a one off, not sure if this area is managed separately but is so far away from the service in other areas. On reporting this to management I did feel they took the comments on board and intended to address. Really hope this improves. I was thank full of having a studio I was able to cook in for the rest of the stay.

Warm and cosy. Very good value for the room price - we paid £74 for a midweek basic double with ensuit. Bed was lovely & comfortable . We had been working hard all day clearing out after a big flood at my fathers home just before Christmas, so to have a soak in the bath was amazing. Parking just outside our room was another bonus, plenty of parking all around..

I can't comment on any other facilities as we only used the room. We just needed a decent place to sleep - thank you. We didn't have breakfast, at £15 a head, we thought this was out of our price range. Chipping Norton has plenty of cheaper options and is literally just down the road.

It is conveniently located for exploring the Cotswolds if one has a vehicle, nearest town Chipping Norton is a 4min drive about 1/2hr walk, hotel has ample parking. The Standard room is very spacious room with good amenities, restful decor. The evening dinner in their restaurant was tasty & fairly priced.

The mirror bathroom light should be on a separate switch as it is very, very bright, great for normal use, but a tad harsh in the middle of the night if you need to use the bathroom. Bedside lights are fine for ambient light but not for reading a book, ones with a rotating head or gooseneck would be more suitable. Beware: noisy early morning cleaning staff chatting & laughing who seem unaware guests maybe sleeping, especially noticeable when you room is near the stairwell & floor level door, every sound is heard.
