Large room which was clean and warm. Bottles of water provided and you could help yourself to more as required. Easy to park and to let yourself into the room. Good breakfast freshly cooked to order.

Bed was far too hard which made sleeping very difficult. Would have been good to meet owner or manager when arriving and to have a point of contact to check if all was OK with the room. Need an outside light in the car park as difficult to see. Had to read info. displayed in entrance to find out about breakfast as no one greeted you when arriving. Info said no room service to make beds but when we returned after breakfast the beds had been made and fresh towels given although the latter hadn't been requested. Need 2 hand towels rather than just the one.

The view was amazing, and the breakfast each morning was excellent, with a great selection of cooked and continental options in the Old Shed. The facilities were all very clean, and the staff were incredibly helpful. There are some lovely walking routes nearby, and the town of Charlbury is not far from the site (approx. 1 mile). Make sure you bring your walking boots as there is a big downhill walk to the town (followed by a big hill to walk back up on the way back).

The one thing that would improve the facilities is having a drinking water dispenser/drinking water tap that guests can use in the B&B. There were little bottles of water left in the foyer of the B&B building, however when they were gone, they were gone (especially in the heat!). We ended up buying some big bottles of water from the co-op in Charlbury to fill our water bottles up with, and this was only possible because we drove.

Loved it from the moment we arrived, we were well informed of the location of the Piggery B&B and how to check in. The room was lovely and clean, loved all the detailing within the room, from the pictures, the feature tiles in the bathroom and the useful information in the porch of places to visit, eat and extra amenities. The onsite, shop, restaurant/cafe is a great added bonus. We are definitely excited about planning another trip. This is a great find. The owners have thought of everything, and you can see the thought and effort that goes into running this fabulous place.

Nothing we didn't like.

The room was clean and the bed very comfortable! We also enjoyed the breakfast and the interaction with the farm animals. It was so peaceful!

It's not that I didn't like but more so that things were missing. They said they provided toiletries, that wasn't true. We just had a hand soap dispenser. Also we got one face towel for two. I usually use the second one for my hair and the other for the face. Also, the shower could use a door. The shower water went everywhere in the bathroom and it was slippery afterwards. The room was small and there was no mini fridge (think it would make sense for that price)

Facilities were very clean, simple, well-appointed and the mattress was firm. Jane was very accommodating - I regrettably forgot a travel adapter and she kindly provided one she had for me, as well as a fan (it was a humid day). The Shed (their local Cafe) was very clean, well constructed and the staff were exceptionally pleasant and very efficient. It was evident to me that their operation is run very well. Breakfast was delicious (and portions were decent, neither extravagant nor wanting) as was the orange juice and flat white coffee I had.

I was only a little disappointed when my request for 2 extra Duvets wasn't met, however (although I received a message stating the request had been received) to be fair to the staff I didn't receive any additional messages that the extra duvets had been provided. This turned out to be a non-issue in the end as we were both very comfortable that night.

Room was lovely and the view from my window was fantastic. Bed was really comfortable. Parking in The Piggery was excellent. I liked that I didn't have to carry my suitcase to Reception to check in. Loved the forest trail and seeing all the animals. Cafe was great and staff were friendly. A very peaceful place to stay.

As it rained so much it would have been good to have a mat just inside the door so I didn't put mud on the lovely beige carpet.

It's in a quiet scenic area. Thanks to the good weather, we were able to sit outside at the tables & chairs provided the accommodation block in the late afternoon. There was plenty of bottled water, teas, coffees and biscuits available, not just in the room but at the entrance to the accommodation block itself. Breakfast was excellent, a choice of either 2 items from the continental menu or one off that and one off the full menu. I had the granola & compote plus full English with toast. My wife had a croissant & jam and then Eggs Royale. It was very filling. The shower was very powerful and there was plenty of hot water (room 6). Although I'd already booked a table for dinner at a pub in Chipping Norton, on the entrance notice board there was a long list of suggested local places to eat (and take-aways).

We would have appreciated a second comfy chair in the room. There would have been space for it.

Amazing grounds and lovely to see the sheep and other farm animals. Really quiet and a good antidote to city living. The walk into Charlbury is pleasant in the daylight and mostly off road, but the section on road is very scary at night as no lighting and very fast driving.

Room was a bit fusty snd doggy smelling. Breakfast was very busy, although we had a table reserved for our room we had a big queue of people waiting to be served right next to us. Staff seemed over worked and there was no ground coffee available for both mornings of our stay.

Our third time staying in as many years, still an absolutely fantastic B&B and great value. Love everything from the location, the generous check-in and out times, the amazing breakfasts, all round friendly service, pleasant and well presented rooms, fabulous sunsets and local amenities - plus, being only a short walk into Charlbury to catch the bus that stops right outside diddly squat farm shop is a bonus. Our doggo loves staying too, so many walks both onsite and close by.

Generosity towards guests from the establishment. Comfortable, quality beds. Bathroom. Setting is stunning. Having a reserved table for breakfast. Quality breakfast offer. Breakfast times.

Not a 'what I didn't like', just an idea for improvement - More space to hang items and keep clothes in a family room needed, especially for a stay of one night or more. Rearrange the furniture in the room to help it flow better and to improve space for storage and bedside tables. Repair the outer door to ensure it closes of an evening, in cold weather. Replace flickering light in entrance way. Move piggery sign to the front door from the wall end.
