The location is wonderful and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the dining room overlooks the sea. We really enjoyed relaxing on the terrace looking at the sea.

Our "small double" room was clean and comfortable but overlooked the car park so had one small high window. When the bar closed we heard staff wheeling bins of bottles to the large bins. Tuesday morning was "bin day" so between 7 and 8 am three large trucks stopped outside to empty the rubbish/recycling bins.Fortunately we saw the funny side of it but next time we shall ask for an upstairs room with a view of the sea!

Breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. the evening menu and food options were really tasty too and the evening staff were even more attentive than the breakfast staff The remote control was not working and the receptionist tried to get this fixed and was really helpful but this couldn’t be fixed but brought myself and my parents complementary coffees while I was waiting in the hotel

Twice I had to stand waiting for around 5 minutes to be seated for breakfast as it was very busy and one of the mornings I had to call out to get a member of staff to seat me which felt really awkward for me as I was staying at the hotel alone. I thought the volume of the music in the lounge and dining areas was too loud

Lovely hotel. courteous staff. Wonderful location. We had a sea view room upgrade for our wedding anniversary. The room was large, well appointed with an excellent shower and bath. Large screen TV with Freeview. Coffee maker and kettle for tea. Parking was plentiful and free once you have checked in your car at reception. We were given a nice table for dinner and presented with a surprise specially signed anniversary dessert tray with cake and fruit. We had an excellent (waitress served) cooked breakfast and coffee, with self service cereals, toast etc. The sandy beach is just over the road with lovely artificial bays for swimming and a long promenade for taking a pleasant morning walk.

We really liked the general ambience of this hotel, the pleasant staff and the great seaside location. So nothing really.

Room was large and beautiful. Very comfy with 2 chairs, a small coffee table and desk. Fantastic location on the waterfront. Check in and out staff were very professional. There is a huge sitting| dining room on the main floor, so it was nice to enjoy the extra space when friends visited or we wanted a drink or food.

Sadly, some of the waitresses in the dining room were immature and seemed not to care about their behaviour and presentation. At times it seemed that no one was in charge of the room in terms of staff. It took away from an otherwise great experience.

The size of the room , it was clean, great en suite, good tea/ coffee facilities. Staff were welcoming. Hotel decorated really tastefully. Car parking was brilliant. Great location. A good temperature inside the hotel. A reasonable price . The cooked breakfast was plentiful & hot when served . Evening dinner in the restaurant was absolutely delicious.

Poorly measured curtain panels in my bedroom and the blinds in need of repair, which let the room down slightly. The continenta breakfast l was short of supplies in comparison to what the menu offered. Only 2 choice of cereal and sadly only soy milk as a dairy alternative. Could have been better if a choice of almond or oat milk. Ran out of orange juice and not replaced over a further 2 breakfast servings

We stayed at Kingscliff hotel for a holiday with 7-month old twins. The family room was cosy, clean and spacious: we had a double bed, two single beds and two cots and we managed to place our rocking chairs and a playmat in between. We appreciated that we were given a room on the ground floor and there was no need for us to carry our babies up and down the stairs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Each day we needed to warm baby milk and sterilise bottles in a microwave, and all our requests were accommodated promptly. The breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant was always delicious, with wide choice. In the restaurant, we were also provided with convenient high chairs for the babies.

The floor boards in the room were quite creaky, this made it difficult for us to rock the babies at night. For families with babies, it would help enormously if high chairs could be provided in the room as our babies' first meal usually was earlier than the breakfast time. Among possible improvements, it would help to have a laundry option at the hotel. It was advertised on the materials inside the room, but in the reality we were advised to use the nearest one outside the hotel. Although we had enough space in the room, we would recommend to correct misprints in the rooms description on booking.com as obviously the rooms are not 150-170 m2.

A hotel staff were warm and professional when we arrived. The room itself was small but adequate for a one night stay the little things were there a tea tray with basic condiments. The bathroom was large with a separate bath and shower.

The breakfast room, which also is the dining room is delightful. Very bright and welcoming. A charming young lady on duty, but on her own until later when another member of staff joined her. The buffet was quite bare when we came down at 8:30 and needed to to be kept stocked up . difficult for the one young lady to do on her own. But when it did arrive it was more than adequate. We also eat in the restaurant the previous evening it was very good.

we have visited for meals before, so decided to stay. We were lucky to be allocated a ground floor room, as we gave mobility issues. it looked out over the car park, so noise could have bothered us but it didn’t, as it was mid week.

staffing issues. poor girl had to deal with a full restaurant on her own for breakfast. maybe a staff member didn’t turn up. supply issues. Clearly, a lot of the breakfast fare was not available. Breakfast was not the best it could have been. a bit dry and overcooked. we had to wait quite a while to be served on the busy day because of only having one staff member. We also had a problem with food at dinner. hopefully it was a one off.

Such friendly and helpful staff, good communication. Modern facilities, really good restaurant, lovely area to stay in too. Was an absolute lifesaver for us when we originally booked another place months ago and had to find somewhere else late evening as it “was under construction and unavailable” which we were only told on the day when we rang the property owner (Pier House Apartments, Pier View, Walton), avoid like the plague!!! Such a struggle to get a refund with “no cancellation!”

Beds were a little firm but room was spacious. Maybe glasses would be best on the breakfast area so we can help ourselves to juice.

The hotel is very lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a delayed wait for our rooms and some issues with the breakfast bookings but they were all handled perfectly by the staff. The location of the hotel is really good and ample parking.

The zip bed we asked to be added to one room was not what we expected. Those beds might be good for kids but not for adults. Lucky it was just for 1 night. They could really do with upgrading. Also we weren't aware of the Igloo in the garden. We would have tried to book this. More advertising for this would be recommended.
