This holiday lodge is beautifully situated on private farm land, the area was quiet and beautiful surrounded by greenery, sunflower fields and animals. The lodge itself had visits from the owners chickens and pygmy goat Betty- she was so calm and friendly and loved a roam around the lodge. The place was so clean, modern facilities, great shower pressure. The bottle of proseco on arrival was greatly appreciated and the self check in made it so easy and we could come and go as we pleased. Would definitely return, nothing to fault. Must be a driver to get to accommodation. Also dosent have WiFi but no problem for us.

The studio was clean, nicely decorated and very well appointed with everything required for a longer stay (equipped kitchenette, dining table, sofa, outdoor seating). The location was very peaceful (just chickens and goats for company!) and offered great walks / fresh air.

The trade off for the location was absolutely no phone signal (we're with EE) and needed to liaise with family we were visiting locally. There is also a long potholed road to access the studio.

Lovely room with everything you need. Shower is powerful and the bath is nice and deep. We enjoyed meeting the goats and the owner is very friendly, felt we could ask for help had we needed it. The location is very peaceful and was easy to find. It is down a track which is a little rough in places but this is to be expected for the location, it wasn't an issue for us. Prosecco and chocolate was an unexpected bonus.

Fantastic accommodation, beautiful surroundings, friendly hosts, thoughtful extras, animals to keep us entertained, comfortable bed, everything we needed was well thought out and supplied! We loved our trip.

As we’re in our twenties and used to having our phones constantly and we did not read the booking properly where it does say there is none..there is no wifi and not the greatest phone signal- but this proved to be what we needed. Quiet time away from our phones and quality time together! So actually a hidden perk.

Spacious accommodation, really big comfy bed, nice modern kitchen and bathroom Beautiful surroundings and able to eat our breakfast outside.

The automatic light which came on in the bathroom as soon as the door opens-it’s such an awful rude awakening in the night and the brightness even woke up my partner! The owners advised us to switch off the main switch on the wall but that doesn’t work. You really have to climb up and put black paper over the sensor on the ceiling. Difficult to get back to sleep after that

My elderly mother-in-law stayed here over Christmas as the house we were staying in locally was not suitable for her due to some mobility issues. It was just perfect for her and there was even a Christmas tree which delighted her. There is everything you could need in a beautiful, peaceful location.

Great location, zero light polution - you could see so many stars! Staff/owners amazing! Great recommendation for indian take out (5mins away) Animals amazing! Overall, just amazing! Great to be able to disconnect from the world (although ability to use our netflix/disney for our toddler would have been nice haha)

The property is really beautiful, it’s bright, airy, spacious and had everything needed for a relaxing break. The views are stunning and the location is peaceful and calm. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom has a lovely size bath with a shower. The kitchen and dining area are nicely equipped with a good prep area. The lodge was immaculate, fresh and cosy, I would highly recommend a stay here!

Everything was likeable, nothing to fault.

Beautiful lodge. Nice added touches like chocolates, Prosecco and tea coffee hot choc. Felt like a home away from home with surprise visits from a couple of chickens and a lovely black dog ❤️ will definitely be coming back next time we’re in the area to visit friends x

The ONLY thing we could think this place was lacking was phone signal/Wi-Fi. Not a major issue for us honestly, but it would of course benefit :)

Our favourite thing about our stay here was little Betty the goat! The location of the lodges is lovely, set in the middle of the countryside with only a short walk to the water. It’s so peaceful and quiet with lots of wildlife around! The lodge it’s self is very spacious with everything you could need. It was absolutely spotlessly clean! The owners were very helpful and lovely. We can’t wait to return!!
